  Disk cleanup has little benefit unless the disc is more than 50% full.  It's rare.  The vast majority use somewhere around 25% of their disk capacity.  The value of defragmentation is improved performance and rarely has real value by returning more useful disk space.  If the drive is only complete, it is likely to be slow performance and may not even have enough space to perform the defragmentation.

  You want MORE not fewer restore points.  This gives you the best choice when things go wrong.  Here's what I recommend on this subject:

  Restore points

  The amount allocated to the point area by restoration by default in Windows 7 is 3% of the capacity of the disk.  In almost all cases, the computer uses but a small part of the available space.  This makes it very convenient to raise that 3% to say 8-10%.  This strategy will give a lot more restore points that will give you much more flexibility to recover a bad situation.

  To change the award, type create in the text box above the start planet.  Select create a restore point.  Click set up.  Move the slider to the right as you see fit.  Definition it to 50 gigabytes will have no effect if you have a 500 GB drive and use only about 100 or so, which is very typical.

• I have one still supported for microsoft xbox live even though I cancelled the account 2 years ago. How can I stop taking them my money?

  My son set up the account as soon as he bought the x - box (with my permission, of course) > however, he sold his x - box almost 2 years ago

  and duly cancelled the account > monthly payments (6.99) continued to be debited to my account, until he cancelled the account once again.
  then payments stopped... for a while, maybe 4 or 5 months, then 4 months, I've noticed on my bank statements the 6.99 is being charged

  If you have included the RAID driver using the nLite so I put t understand why you need the external USB floppy drive?
  Anyway, to my knowledge, not all USB FDD drives are compatible and it can happen that a non supported USB FDD drive will not recognize and so you would not be able to install the RAID floppy driver!

  But nLite is the key! Using the nLite you n t need the USB FDD drive!

  You can use an external hard drive to boot and run with any Mac. Its not going to improve or replace your ram. If you use a mechanical hard drive in any Mac then help and boot from an external drive, especially if it's a SSD will be significantly faster.

  What version of Windows, including the service pack is installed?

  How do you run chkdsk?

  Do this way:

  Start > run > chkdsk /f > OK

  Unless you did something unusual, drive C is your system drive, so after clicking on OK, a command prompt window will appear with the following query:

  The type of the file system is NTFS.
  Cannot lock the current drive.

  Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
  process.  You want to schedule this volume to be
  check the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

  Y type

  Restart your computer and let chkdsk to run to completion.

  When you start Windows when chkdsk is complete, start Event Viewer (start > run > eventvwr > OK)

  Click on 'Request' in the left pane and look for an entry in the pane on the right with the Winlogon "Description."  Double-click on this entry to view chkdsk results.  Click the "Copy" icon (right underneath the up/down arrows) and then paste the chkdsk log in your response here.

  I noticed that the manual indicates that it is for some models only, but unfortunately there is not any information about who they are.

  I have to disagree with you and say no.

  You cannot add a disk hard unless your x 2 is one of the special types.

  In the manual, you'll notice that even the keyboard, the coverage and the closing of the bottom are different. Take a very close look at this manual.

  Thanks for answering my question. It turns out that Norton utilities was not allowing me to defragment my disk hard because he said that I had to run checkdisk. After you have uninstalled Norton - windows enabled me to perform the disk check and corrected some errors which allowed me to defragment the hard drive. Thanks for your help. = A0 = A0 Bob

  You specify the drive when you run defrag?

  Try to run the defragmentation from a CMD window. At the prompt, type first to:

  Defrag C: - one

  Press

  This will give a report on how fragmented the drive is. If you decide that he needs to defragment, typeRegeditdans;

  3. When asked if you want to boot from your DVD player, do it.
  4. Select your language, click Next.
  5. click on "repair your computer".

  YYou want to save raw images, but not all? Is that what you mean? When you import into FVP you can select the songs you want and you can set the library in the Inspector to record the files on any player, anywhere.
