I can't find my uploaded photos

Well, I stuck my camera memory card in my laptop, selected computer to transfer photos... and now I can't find them!  They are nowhere.  I don't know what to do!  Where these darned things don't when they are uploaded?  Any help please?

Hi Madicakes,

Thank you for using the Microsoft Answers forum.  What program did you use to upload pictures?  I suggest you download them again and make sure that you make a note of the folder to which they are downloaded.  You can also make a note of the name of the images and search for them. Thank you for using answers Forum. Please let us know how it works.

where can I find all my photos that were stored on photoshop 10?

your photos have probably saved in photoshop but not in photoshop. Photoshop is the name of a program from adobe.  It stores any image files.

but the question is not where your images were saved from, but they were in this directory/file saved.

to find the directory/folder where you saved your image files, open PES 10, click on file and click on save as...

a panel of Tacker system opens and which will show you where your image files are saved.

Alternatively, you can search for your image files by using the search function of your operating system (windows in os win Explorer) and the mac os finder.

If your find this confusing info, ask someone as computer help you.  This is a pretty basic business that doesn't require significant computer skills.

  • I can't find my imported photos

    Hello

I use only my iMac for about six months, but during this period have added several thousand photographs taken on a number of camera; These were imported by using the Photo app.

Be familiar with Windows I though I could find the files in a directory called 'Images' or similar when it wants to view and open in Photoshop Elements and back up to DVD but can not find the files on my disk.

    Help, please!

    Andy

When you import pictures to Photos, you must use the Photos.app to access.  The photos will be managed in the photo library.  The Finder only will show you the photo library as a package, not the files inside. It's very different from Picasa or other applications, which comes to reference files in the Finder. But long term, it is much more convenient, because we don't are not obliged to keep track of our pictures and edited versions. Photos done this for us.

    • Launch pictures to browse the albums and the Moments within the library,
    • and if you want to access pictures from other applications, use the media browser or select the photos and use file > export to create a copy outside the library of Photos.
    • If you want to use other programs to edit photos, use Photo editing extensions, see: Photo retouching for Photos for Mac Extensions

  • Can not download previously uploaded photos

I have already downloaded photos on my memory card. Unfortunately, I can't find them anywhere on my computer. I searched the whole computer with no luck. That said, when I try to download from my card memory, Microsoft won't let me not because somehow or another Member State knows that I have previously downloaded. If there is a way to replace that, would you be kind enough to share the steps to do this. Thank you.

    Something to try...

If you connect the device to your PC via USB, turn on...
Then go to... Start / computer... it can be listed as a reader.

Also if you use a USB media player... it should be
to... Start / computer... as one or more hard drives.

If_yes_right click on the drive letter and select... Explore...
This should display the directory of the memory card. You
can copy and paste or drag and drop the files from there in a folder
    on your hard drive.

  • Where can I find my original photo after editing to the organizer and the saiving it

I am brand new to photoshop elements.  I edited a photo in the editor and saved with a different name.  Now, I can't find the original image.  What happened to him?

When you work in the Organizer in PSE13, by default you will see a display of thumbnails where each thumbnail is enlarged without text, name of file or details.

It is a new view in version 13. You can switch the display mode to the old vision "detailed", where the tile is smaller, but indicated with the file name and details if you have enabled this option in the menu "view". To move, use the view menu or the shortcut Ctrl D.

When you have edited a photo of the Organizer, the new image you created is linked to the original, they are in a "set" version Only the most recent version is displayed by default. When you have switched to the 'detailed view', there is a small triangle on the right of the thumbnail. Click on it, and all versions will be displayed next.

    Is that what you want?

If you have created a set of version, a small icon should appear on the top of the page thumbnail even country in no detailed view.

  • How can I find my missing photos in LR3 MAC?

Imported files MAC LR3 and worked very well this day there, but now the photos are either totally absent or the file is 'offline or missing.  Help!

You wrote: "I still can't find the missing files.»

Do you mean you can't find in Lr - or you cannot find them in the Mac Finder?

If you cannot find in the Mac Finder while they are not on your computer.

If you find in the Mac Finder then it's just a matter of pointing Lr to the right folder.

Get there by selecting "Find lack folder and navigate to the location where you found the file in the Mac Finder."

  • my computer can't find all my photos from my phone when I try to import

I have an iphone 6, I got an iphone 4S & I imported all my photos and contacts ect. to my iphone 6. After the transition to my iphone 6, pictures on my phone had to load whenever I tried to display their & if I was not connected to wifi that they wouldn't load even if I had LTE service. Recently, I tried several times to download my pictures from my phone on my Toshiba laptop. As usual I plug my phone to my computer using the USB cord and a screen will appear then asks if I want to import my photos and it gives me an opportunity to do with windows live photo gallery and other things. I chose windows live photo gallery. My computer and the phone through the process of finding my photos but it found only a small amount of my photos. I have 900 photos and he finds only 8 of my most recent. I think that it is because these recent pictures are loaded. But I don't know how to do all the 900 pictures load and import. I also think it may have something to do with my storage.

    Greetings Lily1616,

From what I understand, your iPhone is not load your photos immediately and they will not load when not Wi - Fi. When you try to import from your phone to the computer, it loads only 8 pictures when you have 900 +.

It sounds like you could use iCloud photo library and this could explain the reason for your photos to act like they are.

When you turn on iCloud photo library on your Mac or iOS device, your photos and videos will download once you connect to the Internet with a Wi - Fi connection and your battery is charged. You can see the status and pause the download for a day, when you do the following:

    • On your iOS device, tap Settings > iCloud > Photos.

Depending on your Internet connection speed, the time it takes for your photos and videos to appear on the Photos app on iCloud and all your devices can vary. Make sure you put on iCloud photo library on each device.

This information is in this article: iCloud Photo library FAQ - Apple Support

Go ahead and check if you have this option and join iCloud.com on your computer and sign in. Here you can select photos and see if they show up there. If they do, you can go ahead and download pictures from there on your computer.

    See you soon

  • Why can not see my uploaded photos thrown windows 8?

    Hello

I received an e-mail from one of my friends with photos attached to e-mail. I wanted to save my computer. If I click on download and click on the file and click ok. Then, I'm going to open the file and the just blue photo app opens and closes in a blink of an eye and I'm not able to view my photos... And then, in a box gray, he says: 'Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You can not have the appropriate permissions to access the file. I am getting very frustrated.

Method 2: Right-click on the image, choose open with.

Method 3: Check if your antivirus software is blocking the file.

  • How can I find where a photo that I copied and saved was originally coming from that I recorded in my photo folder?

I'm trying to find where I copied and paste a picture before putting it in my photo folder initially.

    Hello

I'm afraid to say that you will not be able to follow the original image location.

    Hope this information was useful.

  • I just installed Lightroom. I can use this to upload photos, put paths clipping around the photos and print images of this?

I don't know if I have installed the right option for me. I enjoy photoshop. I want to scan old photos and clean. I love the images of manipulationg. Can I do this with Lightroom?

"Clipping paths"? I'm not sure that I understand what you mean, but it sounds like something that is present in Photoshop and Lightroom not.

Indeed, if your goal is to remove blemishes and stains on old photos, Lightroom can do a little of this, Photoshop has many more tools and seems to be a better choice.

  • In the case of Facebook I control-click on Add Image to Photos, where Photos can I find the image being added?

On Facebook I Ctrl-click on a photo and then choose picture add pictures on the shortcut menu.  Subsequently, photos where I can find the image added?  Is there a systematic way?

Sometimes, images from Facebook are added at the end of my table of Photos.  This table is always keep sort by oldest first.  However, some images from Facebook appear to come from the previous dates.  At least one, I found a photo added to Facebook in the middle of a time at which the additional picture has nothing to do.  My guess is the added photo's date time whereby it sorts here and pictures imported, nor others currently have location data.  If any location data would show that the imported photo was not present.

I imported several other photos from Facebook, which I can't find.  I think I checked the album last import and did not find them here.  I suspect they have dates, which I do not know, and causing them to be placed somewhere other than the end of my library.

How can I find the imported photos from Facebook?

When you see a photo in Safari and ctrl + click or right-click, then use "Add photo", it will be added to the photo library without appearing in "last import.  It goes the same for adding photos of Mail in this way.

But you can find the album "AllPhotos".  All new photos added this way should appear at the bottom of all the pictures, because this album is sorted by the date of the import session.

If you see the photo added in the last import, control-click it or right click and select 'display in the Moment '.  This way you can find at the moment, it has been added to.

    Hi Peggy,

You get pay for the license, not for downloading. You can download the same image of license history several times. To do this, go to license history > click the image > save image of office/library

  • Why Photo can not find some of my images?

I work on an iMac on Yosemite 10.10.5 and imported my extensive library, iPhoto photo. Not wanted, but Apple unfortunately leaves you no other choice.

Besides the fact that my structure, which was based on sorting by file name, is roughly in the sewers, there are more bugs that I would like to find an answer to.

My pictures together collection was imported into the library itself, and no images are linked from an external source. But the Photo can't seem to find a number of my images. When you view one of the images in Photo, a popup appears saying that some of my images are linked from an external source (which is not) and then I must point out a certain folder. Now, if the images were at an external location which would not be a problem, all the images are IN the Photo library, but he can't always find them. And I can't select the library as a source, only folders.

So, how can I know of Photo images are in its own library? (I've already fixed the database, but that does not solve anything).

    Can someone help me?

    Thanks in advance,

    Kind regards

    WebbieDKS

Not wanted, but Apple unfortunately leaves you no other choice.

iPhoto 9.6.1 is compatible with MacOS X Yosemite.  You could continue to use iPhoto, if you have not installed the most recent version.

This is a similar case: Re: Photos in photo-library see iPhoto Library

The photo library original references in the iPhoto rather than the photo library library.

The library of uploaded Photos can still be linked to the original iPhoto Library, if you used applications of cleaning that has replaced some originals of links to the versions edited to save storage.  Did you turn all remove duplicate on your iPhoto library? iPhoto Diet, ClleanMy Mac or similar?

The error message shows the way to the missing originals?  Post a screenshot of the error group, then we can see it, where the Photos looking for originals.
