I can't in detaied Bios in my p6230f!

Hi all, I am full of ideas. I wanted to get into the BIOS where it displays the CPU time and also where I could disable any standby power cooling fan option, (as well as do a little work OC), but I press F10 as soon as the button is pressed and I get the "system Bios Setup".

This is the closest I can get to anything related to the Bios. F1 does the same thing and I tried F9, ESC, DEL, F2, etc. They all get me there or nowhere. So then I tried to see if this article somehow let me into the Bios itself but NOTHING.

I know there is software that can do all the work, (except maybe the fan), I listed. In fact, I have a number of those software installed then please, I have more software. My problem is that I need to go into the BIOS to check a number of statistics and disable the saving of cooling fan.

If other that a way to get into the BIOS won't help, (I just want to save somebody some typing because I knew these answers in other forums).

When I was in the section of the Bios Setup, I tried to use each tab which offered including the "Advanced" tab but nothing lead me to a way to get into the Bios itself. All the other tabs and choice were about turning on and off of a floppy drive or changing the boot order.

I have the original ALOE X 3 AM3 mobo but I changed the CPU, GPU and PSU to as follows:

Processor AMD Phenom 2 x 4 965BE C3

ATI Radeon HD 5770 GPU

LS 550 watt power supply

I am out, please help! Thank you

Thank you very much! Certainly, who settled any doubts I had. That's all just amazing! If I knew that I'm not sure I would have bought this computer. Don't get me wrong however, I recommend this model to anyone who wanted a good basic computer with lots of Ram. I use many different high-end Photo tools/software and perform often 5 or more windows at the same time. This model has done the job.

But I entered the flight Sims, (almost a regret), and the next thing I know, I replaced the CPU with an AMD 965BE C3 and the GPU, (onboard is an ATI HD 4200), with an ATI HD 5770 and thrown in a block of power SUPPLY 550 and so on!

But thanks, the matrter is solved!

    Hello John

Remove the CMOS battery didn't help much. If the removal of the BIOS can be so easy, remove the password on the stolen units may be too simple. Please don? t wait that these information will be posted here.

You can contact the after-sales Service of Toshiba partner. They will remove password for you.

    Hello

All BIOS for all Toshiba units, you can download from the Toshiba site:
    http://www.toshiba-tro.de/subpage/BIOS.html

But you can not downgrade the BIOS for example: since version 1.2 to 1.1
This is only possible by Toshiba ASP.
In this case, if you want to downgrade the BIOS you should contact the service partner.

Toshiba ensure an update based on Windows and a traditional update of the disk of the A40. • Satellite L840/020 - can't get into BIOS after enabling the quick start option

I have a laptop Toshiba L840/020 (PSK8LA-020007). I recently installed a 330 Series SSD and Windows 8 Pro RTM 6.2.9200 MSDNAA on this Intel and enabled the fast boot option in the BIOS (boot speed > fast).

Now I can't get into the BIOS, no matter what I do. I tried pressing the power button / stop while pressing F2 (as suggested by a few other forums), upward on default that I tried all F and Esc keys, but nothing does. I also tried repeatedly pressing F2 during startup, plugged a USB external and supported on F2 keyboard on it, but no matter what I can't get into the BIOS.

When I go to the Toshiba support download section > 8 64 bit Windows, I see also a BIOS update for my laptop, but when I try to install I get the following error:

Please let me know how to enter the BIOS. Thank you.

    Hello

First try INS then F2 key.

Then you should be able to access the BIOS, I recommend disabling the QuickStart in the BIOS if you can successfully enter the BIOS.

With regard to the update of the BIOS.
I checked the page of the Toshiba driver to THE and it seems that the BIOS v6.20 is even similar to Win 7.
I think that the BIOS update must be done running the system pre-installed Toshiba since Win 8 is not officially on the market, and to my knowledge, there are some big restrictions updated BIOS running Win 8

  • Can't get into bios after installed processor.

    Hello
I have recently upgraded the CPU in my p6-2370ea to an i5 - 3570 k. The processor was faulty and I tried in several systems. After he go out and by replacing the i3 came with the pc, I get 6 beeps bios long before the pc starts again. After doing a lot of research I found that I need to disable secure boot and enable legacy mode (I removed and replaced the graphics added a 7750). However, I can get in the boot options, but whenever I go UEFI settings and click on "restart", I get 6 bios beeps and my screen does not light. In short, I can't access the Bios. I need to remove the graphics card and to do so with that discreet? Or is it possible to go directly to the UEFI boot rather then requiring a reboot of the system?
    Thank you

  • Can not enter the BIOS settings

Hello. I can't enter the Bios on z580 with 8.1 windows settings. I tried everything, including now shift with bios stop and accsesing under windows, nothing seems to work and windows strarts just straight up normally. Also, I can't update to solve this problem. I hope someone can help.

    Thanks for confirming.

In your post original, you said 'change of outfit with the judgment', so I wanted to be sure that you try SHIFT-restart.

Have you tried to stop completely and pressing the button "novo" (a recovery key). On my Win8.1 Yoga 2 Pro, that brings up a menu containing several elements, which is the BIOS Setup.

    Kind regards.

  • How can I update the BIOS without using a CD?

    Hello!

I recently decided to update my RAM from 2 GB to 4 GB. After installation, I started my computer to find that it would not recognize the new memory. After doing some troubleshooting, I decided to try to update the BIOS, like the 2010 version. I have downloaded the update to the BIOS boot CD implementation of lenovo, burned a disk and restarts, I found that the boot order has no CD contained thereon. Here's the catch: I do not have the supervisor password. It is a mobile phone in hand, and I tried to find the password nothing is done. It's the current boot order: USB key, hard drive.

My question is, can I create a BIOS update disk using a USB key, or update the BIOS of another way?

I understand that it is impossible to recover the supervisor password without having served (that I prefer to not do, even if I have to return my Crucial RAM)

    My system features:

    ThinkPad L512

    BIOS version: 1.04

    BIOS date: 2010-3-26

    Controller of Embeded Version: 1.01

    Windows 7 32 bit

    Thanks for your help.

    Welcome to the forum!

    Two things here:

    (a) If you run the system update, it should offer the latest BIOS for your machine as well. I never did on a protected device, so it may or may not work, but perhaps worth it.

    (b) I doubt the ability of the system to recognize the new RAM has something to do with the BIOS. Much older than your ThinkPads will take place 4-8 GB of RAM with an old BIOS, older than your machine initially.

    Good luck.

  • X 360 spectrum: spectrum x 360 occasionally turns off unexpectedly. Can not find update BIOS F.12 or F.13

System stops unexpectedly. running version bios F.11.  Update for the version of bios F.12 notes that a perhaps related problem has been addressed in this version.  My problem is that the application "HP support assistant" shows the updated F.12 and that it is able to download (I don't know where he puts the files it downloads, otherwise maybe I can manually update the bios), but it always fails at the step of the installation.  On the product page, the only F.11 version is available.  some other posts have indicated that F.13 is also available for download, but I can't find the link to F.12 F.13 anywhere.

Anyone know where there is a good link to the version F.12 F.13?  I found a link to F.13 in one of the forums, but the link was from someone has a personal training session, but I want to download directly from HP to be sure it is the correct version.

Go to this page and enter your model number:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/drivers/

In the BIOS there is a download link. You can choose to download tune, or choose to download only the file. Good luck! It seems that the current version is F.13 Rev A.
