I cannot print to my HP Photosmart C4500 of my laptop wireless

I can print to my office, but not comfortable C4500.

I used to be able to but can't now.

Thank you!

If you use the same laptop, but have two printers different (one at home) and the other in the office, you will then need to see two different printers in devices and printers.
If you run add printer at home, it is your personal printer?

Here's a decent HP wireless printing troubleshooting link http://www.hp.com/global/us/en/wireless/index.html?jumpid=ex_r602_go/wpc-support-hp>

  • Cannot print without wire - HP photosmart premium

I've had my printer for at least a few years, with limited use. I have no problem to print wireless until a couple of days (I have a router with wireless Netgear 52).

I get an error message indicating that the printer is offline.  When I uncheck "use printer Offin" in the printer properties (I use Wondows 7), I get an error message stating that the "cannot print document."  Sometimes I don't get the message offline printer, it just says: "print document faled.

When I run the diagnostic it says that the wireless radio is on.  In addition, the blue light for the wireless on the control panel is on.  My wireless works fine and all computers and wifi devices are connected.

    What should I do?

    Hi adisank,

Sorry my suggestion did not work for you, but I have another!

I recommend you try to convert a USB connection to a wireless connection. Convert from a connected USB wireless printer.

Also if you print a Network Setup page, nothing missing the test?

Hope it works and have a nice day!

  • Cannot print search for hp photosmart D110 series [E1112D] for air

Hello.  I have a MacBook Pro 15 with Lion, an iPad 2 and iPhone 4.  Recently I updated the HP driver and now I can't print - air or find it in settings - and I have trouble printing via Adobe PDF files.  The IPad support application does not show this model, but he previously worked.  Help!

    Hi Justjoan123,

Sometimes, the printer loses its way. Try unplugging the printer, the router and turn off the iPhone/iPad. Then (in that order) reconnect the router, wait until he comes back completely, and then reconnect the printer, wait until it comes back on (wait until the wireless stops flashing light and sound towers). Turn your iPhone/iPad. This expected to solve your problem. If you still have problems with it, please do not hesitate to call us at the 1-800-474-6836.

  • Cannot print from MAC on Photosmart Wireless B109n

    Hello

I'm struglling with my new B109n-f printer to print wireless configuration.

I have it set and the wireless network test report give it one of good health (pass on all points).  In addition, I am able to print wireless from my windows XP PC laptop.

I am struggling with the installation on my OS Leopard 10.5.8, Macbook Pro.  I followed all the steps and when I come to add the printer in the press, and fax settings I see his IP address field and select it.

He responds by saying: it is a valid address and complete.

There is a field for the "tail" but it's empty, and he says: 'leave blank for default queue. "

No drop-down options menu will appear.

When I close these preferences and return to the Setup dialog and click on continue he informs me that I did not create a print queue.  He advises me to come back and repeat the steps (that is to say delete the printer and add it back in print and fax the same settings if there is no additional box for the print queue.

I tried to add the printer LPD and IPP (the instructions don't say which is correct but niehter seems to work).

If I complete the installation by ignoring the message from the queue to print the printer appears in the list of printers (such as its IP address).  If I select this printer and try them and print them, I get the printer HP dialog box that bounces on my toolbar with an alert.

When you click on it tells me that host 192.168.0.105 network is busy and retries it in XX seconds.

    Can you help me?

    Thank you very much

    Rob (London)

Found the problem.  It should be set to the option of HP Jetdirect and LPD not or IPP printing.

It would be useful if it was in the manual.

Hope this is useful to someone else who has a similar problem.

  • Cannot print on 8620 via the option on my network wireless

I have 3 computers with Windows 7.   The printer works great as connected USB printer.

the wireless set in place works very well and gets an IP address from my router wireless (an old LinkSys G wireless).

I can't ping the printer.   It does not appear in the ARP table.   I'm trying to set up a wireless connection, but the software cannot find the printer.

Curiously, when I search for networks, I found that the printer was broadcasting as it's own wireless gateway.  I can connect to it, but she has no internet connection.  When I try to add a new printer, the software detects the printer and allows me to add it.  Then I can print to it wireless.   the IP address of the printer is different from what the HP software found when I set wireless upwards, on a totally different subnet.

I doubt that this is the way it is supposed to work, to drop out of your own network to print to the network printer.

In addition, you can access the new IP address and all set up.

Any suggestions on what to look for.   should I change something in my router?

I was able to remedy.  the fact that she printed on the subnet for printers, but not my subnet routers wireless was off the tip.

I had to disable the Isolation AP on my router.  I didn't know that it was running.  After turning this off, so I could find the printer and print all 3 laptops.  Not a firewall issue.

    Thanks for the reply.

  • Cannot print from Android phone to 2540 Deskjet using Direct wireless

I try to print a document on my Android for my Deskjet 2540 phone using wireless live (so without a router involved).  I downloaded the HP ePrint app for my phone and have pressed the button wireless directly on the printer (the led next to it is on).  I enabled Wi - Fi radio on my phone and have made a link to my printer.

But when I try to print the document (a pdf.doc) I get the following on my phone error message: no internet connection.  Please check your network settings, and then try again.

Can you please help?  Thank you.

    Hi Kyle72,

Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I believe that when your Android mobile device is connected to the direct wireless network of your 2540 Deskjet that you can access the document, and you get a connection error message.

When you are connected to the direct the printer wireless network can not access the internet.  If the document you are trying to print does not live on your mobile device, you must copy the file to your phone to be able to print it.  I have included the link to HP Wireless PrintingCenter - HP wireless Direct.  He has a good summary on HP wireless Direct with instructions on how to connect to it and how to use it.

  • Cannot print with HP c4385 all in one.

Had to install my lenovo Y430 lap top as my main home computer. something happened to my old ibm XP pro computer.

The lenovo is using windows 7 pro. I downloaded and installed the new driver HP printer... does not work. I went through all the diagnostic tests for the lenovo and the c4380 printer. I was able to print a test page through the router wireless twice (through his own diagnosis). But anyway I put the thing I cannot print docs or photos through the thing that either wireless or connected directly to a USB port. I tried all 3 USB ports (and when I plug & unplug the printer - the system gives a boing) and I changed the usb cable to a nother I know works. still not printing. I need this device impression that I run a small business from home. I was able to scan with the device. but no impression of any sort, I nominated this printer as the default printer in the computer (it is the only printer attached to the computer). The computer says that I don't have printed successfully the doc... but no doc prints.   Help

    Thanks Bob

  • HP Photosmart C6280: cannot print on C6280 wireless after the upgrade to Windows 10

Cannot print on C6280 wireless after the upgrade to Windows 10. Have removed the device, but try to re install the printer when is not found. Can print if I connect USB. Tried to reload the driver using HP Support software help, but when he arrives at the end of the download fails.

    Hi @Ron9871,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see that you are unable to get your printer HP Photosmart C6280 wireless printing. I'd be happy to help you and don't forget to come back to this thread and check "Accept as Solution", if I have successfully helped solve you the problem. If you want to say 'Thank you' to my effort to help, click on the "thumbs up" to give me a Kudos.

I would like to try the steps in this guide, "offline" Status Message printer (Windows 10).

If the problem persists, you may encounter an IP address conflict. It's a good idea to assign the printer a static IP address outside your DHCP range. For example, some routers default DHCP is located between 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.200. So, I would use 192.168.0.232.

    • Print a Page of Network Configuration menu of the printer front panel. Note: the IPV4 IP.
    • Type the IP address in the browser to bring up the SAP.
    • Choose the network tab, then wireless on the left side, and then select the IPv4 tab.
    • Select Manual IP.
    • Enter your IP address manual (192.168.0.232)
    • Enter 255.255.255.0 for the subnet mask, except if it is different.
    • Enter the IP address of your router that sits on the Network Configuration Page) for the default gateway.
    • Please, click on manual DNS server. For the preferred DNS Server Manual please enter 8.8.8.8 and the Alternate DNS Server Manual, please enter 8.8.4.4.
    • Click on apply.

Please restart the router, the printer and the computer in this sequence.

If you're still having problems, please download and run the print and Scan doctor, it will be probably diagnose and fix the problem you are experiencing.

What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (she print or scan, error messages)

You can try to change your WSD printer port by a Standard TCP/IP port.

To do this, you will need your current IP address printers.  The Network Setup page shows the parameters of network for the product. To print this page; Press the button of network () on the control panel of the product.

  • Cannot print using HP photosmart C3100 printer

    Original title - printer problems?

I have a HP photosmart C3100 printer. It has been giving me problems in the sense that whenever I turn it on it would be the test of the printer which is routine, each time you insert a new cartridge. I opted to leave it on and like that I do not lose excess ink. Now the red light indicating that you are in paper or a paper or door jam in the broken back remains open on and I cannot print. Any ideas other than buying a new printer?

Moved from feedback to windows where it belongs

    Hello

As OEM HP is responsible for the good operation of the printer and their
drivers provided. Check with HP support, their documentation online and
drivers and ask in their forums.

Good luck, you need to update or reinstall the latest driver.

  • Photosmart C4500 print too many copies

My Photosmart C4500 keeps printing until it is out of paper, when I chose 1.

I tried everything in the troubleshooting guide and have now uninstalled and reinstalled.  But when the first test photo printing, he did exactly the same thing--kept printing until I removed all paper from the tray.  Then gave me a message "on paper."

If I put just a sheet of paper in the tray, print this sheet, she gives a message 'in paper' as he wants to keep printing.

I'm tired. Spend my time to turn off the printer, then go in properties to cancel print jobs that have already completed.  Labor savings is not.

Edit to add - I looked at the settings by default, can't see anything that would explain the multiple impressions, but please note on my last print job that "he thinks" 3 copies are needed.

If anyone else has this problem... "sergiomis" in another thread gave the answer.

His solution was to a c309a, but worked for my C4580 so. He said...

I found a solution for this problem that affects the prints of c309a with Windows Vista and Windows 7 (not Windows XP!).

I've disabled 'bidirectional support' in the properties-> Ports and no more additional copies of my c309a.

  • Photosmart b109n cannot print in color black

I have a Photosmart b109n. I tried to print a bunch of images and half of the images was good, but the other half was very strange. As you know a printer when it prints a picture, it makes all the colours of yellow, magenta and cyan, even in the dark. My printer can print colors perfectly but cannot print black parts on the image. It's a gray a little something. Here's an example of what it's like (the grey parts had to be black):

My mystery is now solved. My statement was false, that the printer uses the black cartridge when it is printing photos. So the real problem was that the black ink cartridge.

  • Reduction of the print size HP Photosmart C4500 series page

I have a HP Photosmart C4500 series and it is not printing to fit the entire page. The page is reduced in size (from about a third of the page) and some words are cut off. This only happens when I print a Web page. The print preview shows she will be printed to fit the page, but it never does. I use a Macbook Pro and I print wireless. I don't have the CD to reinstall the printer with me. Help?

    Thank you!

    Hi @afc13,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that your HP Photosmart c4500 series prints a page of size reduced on your Mac, and I'm happy to help you!

    I recommend the following:

    1. Reset the printing system. OS X Mavericks: reset the printing system.
    2. Verify and repair disk permissions. 12.x disk utility: repair disk permissions.

Let's start with these two steps, and then we'll go from there!

  • Cannot print with Windows 7 and Photosmart 7350

Hello. Recently, I converted my laptop to Windows 7 Home Premium OS. I have no problem printing to work with this computer of our HP LaserJet but when I enter the problem starts. I have a wireless home network with my Photosmart 7350 connected to my desktop computer that is still running XP. The wizard sees the printer and adds but cannot print a test page. He says that it is waiting, then the print job disappears. I downloaded the Vista driver for the printer. When I run the troubleshooter, it cannot determine the problem. No surprise as convenience stores rarely did help. I got around the problem by sending documents to the desktop so far and then print it from there, but it gets old. Any ideas?

Please install the printer on Windows 7 by using the following steps:
