I get an error message saying 'installation failed' - what can I do about it?
Hi, I paid just for Adobe Creative Cloud and when I started trying to download applications, it is about 80% then says "Installation failed". I followed the instructions on-screen very little to try to fix them or even know what it is but I am nowhere. Anyone has any suggestions as to what the problem might be/how can I fix it?

Your error message, the problem is probably caused by BIOS or DVD settings or bad cabling to SATA hard drive. Please do the following to narrow down because of the problem.
(a) ensure that all laptops the same hardware, the same manufacturer and the same model.
(b) upgrade the BIOS to the latest version; go into the BIOS and enable "Load Fail - Safe Defaults".Warning of the BIOS:BIOS change / oxide of additional metal (CMOS) semiconductor parameters incorrectly can causeserious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.
(c) If you connect the SATA drives, please configure the SATA controller in compatible mode in the BIOS. -

I just got this from Adobe support. Close all windows and start with a new browser window. Go to < www.prodesigntools.com >. On the right side of the window, there will be a small box labeled «direct download links» Click on 'New CC 2015' and when it starts to download cancel the download. Then, right-click on the "Lightroom 6/CC" link and open in a new tab scroll down until you find "BOLD" topic "Adobe Lightroom 6/CC direct download links" and then click on the link for the version you want to download, Windows or Mac OS. It's a slow download, maybe 2 hours or more depending on your speed of connection and internet download. When the download is complete, you will need to extract the files and install the program.
It is 22:00 Tuesday evening, and I am downloading right now in the Middle, waiting for results. I would like to hear the techie I spoke with tonight some time tomorrow and I will let him know if it worked.
Seems to me that this should be the method of downloading the program from the beginning, instead of all jump them through hoops and making many phone calls after he did get any help or advice on the site. I've been playing with this for three days and finally have little hope to get the program on my computer. Good luck, I hope this help anyone.

I tried the license of my trial version of photoshop elements, but the download is for windows and I use a mac. Secondly, I get an error message saying that the serial numbers provided by Adobe in the received email are not correct.
Regarding the download, the correct trial version going, you should be able to manage on the link below. If you have made a purchase and bought a Windows license so it is not valid for a Mac installation. You will need to contact the Support from Adobe when they go bacvk vacation to see about getting the correct license.
You can download the demo version of the software through the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

New HP laptop, Intel processor running Windows 10 (so I find it almost impossible to find something useful on the computer system - I'm NOT a fan of Windows 10).
(I have a Mac and an iPhone at home, so am very familiar with iTunes)
Downloaded iTunes for PC version 12.3.3 (which shows in my downloads as iTunes6464.exe)
But when I try to install the package I get an error message saying "you cannot install this program on a PC. Contact the Publisher of the software. »
No previous iTunes installs on this computer... I have on this machine - it's the only other Apple Quicktime software.

Specific advice Apple seem to be uninstall QuickTime, it should no longer be necessary and has a few potential security vulnerabilities. See Uninstall QuickTime 7 for Windows - Apple Support.
Assuming that you have a 64 bit system, this facility expected to be compatible. For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.
