  I hope that I am able to help you with your concern today. If I understand you correctly, in Time Machine, files of more than 9 months are deleted. Time Machine to save space. I'm not sure if Apple is allowing us to extend this period to 12 months or even 16 months, but it would be a great recommendation. I hope I could help you with your concern.

  Too clarify unwanted newspapers, go to my computer-> select your system partition/drive (the partition where Windows is installed usually C:\)->right click for menu doll-> click Properties-> click on disk cleanup.)

• Help with setting level and hard drive space allocation

  I use a Macbook Pro, aged 1 year, 200 GB of HD.  When I first installed the merger about a year ago, I think I have too much space allocated for the merger.  I allocated 100 GB (basically split the Mac HD).  I use many more apps in XP Pro as on the Mac side.  Now, I met two problems:

  1. I'm running out of space on the side Mac (went to update the Mac OS software recently and I was told I couldn't because of the lack of space; need to 9 GB and had only 4 GB of available). Then, I went to Fusion update (am currently uses version 1.1.3) and following the instructions of PDF of VMWare, went to duplicate virtual machine and could not do. Windows XP virtual machine uses 110 GB according to Get Info, so it's too big to duplicate.

  When I check the size of the virtual C drive on side Windows that indicates that I use GB 49 of the 100 assigned and a bit more 50 GB is unused space.  I know that I do not understand the virtual machines and, apparently, I thought it was just too much space on the windows 'side' is actually space on the Mac 'side' so. Don't know if it is correct or not.  Anyway, it seems to me that I was able to allocate less space to the virtual machine, and then have the space to reproduce?  Is this correct?  If so, how do I?

  2. assuming that the above problem can be straightened out, can I just install the latest version of the merger by the instructions by VMWare PDF file?

  Yes you can upgrade now if you want and you can download the latest (including 2.0.4 at present) version of the Web Site from VMware and is a free update for users of Fusion 1.x and it uses Fusion 1.x serial number.

  I'll get back to you later today on what else can be done to limit the growth, however, preventing you from upgrading.

  You can't move programs from Windows.OLD.  The programs need to be reinstalled.

  Try cleaning disc, select the C drive, then click on file system cleanup, select C drive once more and then you will find the windows installation previous option. It worked for me... hope you.

• I lose a hard drive space every day on my Windows 7 computer

  My computer is barely a month.  I only put on about 6 programs, all with small footprints.  I transferred to about 70 GB of files.  I know that the system uses the memory out of the box, but even with all that taken into account, that I can't take into account more than 40 GB of space and the amount increases every day.

  I was check and each day I lose a few GB of hard drive space.  Where's he going?  There is much info on Vista and some of its features that uses a hard disk space, I guess than some that apply to Windows 7.  But seriously, for example I lost 2GB between yesterday and today, and I have absolutely nothing to the computer.

  Clean temporary files and use Disk Cleanup to reclaim space.  But it is usually minimal and it does not take into account what I lose.  I have the system to restore all of the space to a fairly small percentage.  In summary, I think I have everything correct in order to minimize the use of hard drive, but the space is to be consumed at an alarming rate.  No virus, MSE is on the system and did not find a thing.

  Where the hell the space continues?  I am glad that I have a large hard drive, so there is move the room, but it's ridiculous to have disk space available endangered on its own.  I don't know that it's associated BONE.  Thoughts?

  Start Windows Explorer, and then see if there is a drive letter assigned for access to the
  drive. If this is not the case, check if the disc is shown in disk management.

  1. Open Computer Management by clicking on the button start , by clicking on Control Panel, system and security, clicking Administrative Tools and then double-click computer management. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  2. In the left pane, under storage, click Disk Management.

  If there has made a right click option - assign a drive letter for you can use Windows

  HM, it is clear that it is not found on your old C: (so E :). )

  And there is no config file to tell where to find the catalog to Lightroom. It's just that the catalog is in the place you choose (most of the people chose to have the catalog to the location by default...).
