I have a windows 8 blue screen of death!

I get the "blue screen of death" driver_irql_not_less_or_equal randomly throughout the my computer and ive downloaded 2 different programs that were considered very to solve this problem, but never solved or even escaped the blue screen for a long time. IM asking is someone can help me with this problem?

    I bought my new laptop yesterday and I tried to install Windows 7 Ultimate on it, installation is fine, but when it comes to the "Complete the Installation" part, the screen flashes once and I see the blue screen of death. I know that there are no hardware issues or disc problems.

    The laptop that I bought is a Toshiba Satelittle L50 - B - 11 c and the version of the BiOS is 1.40 if necessary.

    Is it preloaded with an existing version of Windows already?

A large number of computers that are preloaded with Windows 8 have no native driver support for Windows 7 by the manufacturer. If there is no native driver, you will need to consider returning the machine and buying a machine preloaded with Windows 8 Pro with downgrade rights to Windows 7 Professional. Or look through the catalogue of manufacturers for systems already preloaded with Windows 7, usually the business sector will have these options.

    These accidents were related to the corruption of memory (probably caused by a driver).

    Run these two tests to check your memory and find which driver is causing the problem.  Launch auditor.  You don't need to run memtest again unless the auditor is not the cause, or you want to.

    If you are overclocking anything reset by default before running these tests.

  • Windows XP blue screen of death... Gateway series LT Netbook

    When I start my gateway LT series netbook, I get to the screen where the Windows logo appears for about 5 seconds, then I get a blue screen for a fraction of a second, not long enough to read the typical start-up error message. Then the process starts all over again, again and again! I have not any hardware or software recently added. The netbook already has Service Pack3 pre-installed when I got it. I already tried to work by pressing F8 and learn to be on a page where I have the option to start my netbook on safe mode. Same thing is happening. I already brought my computer to the gateway service center because I have not had the unit for more than a year. I have already informed its software problems are not included in the warranty. However, I'm pretty on my own on that now. So I pretty much need the help of this irritable community.

    I hope that someone can push me to the right direction to get my netbook to life. Thanks in advance!

    I read that some people have said once they have downloaded Service Pack 2, the problem has been resolved, but whenever I try to install this update, Windows tells me she didn't and I can not fix.   • Windows Vista Blue Screen of Death - what is a virus or malware?

    My computer automatically restarts on its own. It gives me a message "Windows closed unexpectedly". When I try to look for a solution on the internet on the computer it redirects me to a link. Every solution I see there as a hardware problem, but the way it is it seems to be a virus or malware. I ran Malwarebytes on it with no luck and rank just the sight of the blue screen NirSoft.

    My level of knowledge allows me to do some research, but it is not enough where I feel comfortable playing with files of material.

    Well firstly, I accidentally stumbled on the case of the computer once and that's how it all started... I get the screen that says 'IRQL NOT LESS or EQUAL' screen and error 0 x 00000050 PAGE_FAULT_NONPAGED_AREA Stop. But I get the IRQL NOW LESS EQUAL of GOLD more often than not... It appears so often... I completely restored my computer once already and still there. I would contact with my computer (HP) manufaturur, but I do not know what updates my need drivers. In addition, I'm not good at using the Event Viewer either.

    Hi, I bought a computer with Windows 8 a month ago. In the last two days I started to have BSD with 3 error messages: Bad_Pool_Caller, lack of control of kernel security and corrupted driver, with the first two CARNIANI restart my computer and one stopping. I've read different suggestions for each of the errors but am unable to follow through. I tried to open dmp files to see that drivers can be the cause of the problem, but as I am not a technician, I was unable to do so.   • Blue Screen of death - now cannot load Windows (even in safe mode)

    Laptop last night (Satellite L500-19Z;) Win 7 64 bit) crashed while playing CIV4. Had a blue screen of death. before I had the chance to read one of the error messages about the computer restarted.

    It loaded windows in SafeMode very well then and informed me that he had loaded OK the problem safe mode will be linked to some recently installed software and I should uninstall programs I had installed until it loads normally. As it was late last night I closed and thought I would sort the morning (with the benefit of hindsight it may have been a mistake...).

    Today, when the computer tries to start, it tries a startup repair; Unfortunately it does not work every time and it says "Startup Repair tried several times but still cannot determine the cause of the problem"

    I looked at the paper it produces, but it passes all of the individual tests.

    I can't access also advanced recovery options system & support, that appears in the Startup Repair dialog box as it requires that I be connected, which apparently I am not (probably the machine never got to the windows screen connection before attempting repair system). The error message reads "you must be logged to access system recovery options. If you encounter problems to connect, please contact your computer administrator for help. Please click OK to restart the computer. »

    I had a go at the start in the advanced options (safe mode, safe mode with command etc., but the result is the same).

    I also tried the repair of your computer to the screen option options advanced boot, but after the screen where it asks you to choose the language and keyboard, I get the same error of connection mentioned above.

    Is it possible to repair or even run windows based hard drive recovery (do not have the DVD of recovery with me as I'm away from home for a few weeks) without connecting to windows? I expected here, but have not yet find a way to do it.

    (there is no disc in the disc drive, no other devices connected to the laptop - I tried with power outlet and the battery and have not noticed differences)

  • Windows 7 clean installation Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) on a loop of reboot

    Aloha everyone,
    I did an install customized windows 7 on a new Western Digital 1 TB sata hard drive, which has been formatted, partitioned, scandisk, and a ntfs c drive was created prior to installation.
    The installation ended safely.  I then install my screen reader, Window-Eyes, requiring a reboot.  After the reboot, I started to install critical updates to Windows.  On my fourth update and restarting, I got the blue screen of death, that of some people call a BSoD.  I rebooted and Windows itself restored to a previous state of good, of my just accept the default choice.  Then the rear computer works, but if I stop, restart I get the blue screen of death (BSod) is back, and the loop begins again, i.e. windows restores good condition that works well, until you stop, but on reboot - BSoD is BACK!
    I removed the automatic update option, I disabled ScanDisk, drivers updated, bluetooth devices, deactivated sideshow, etc., without any positive result.  I called Microsoft for assisstance and the technician acted like this isn't a known issue, but he assured me that he could solve the problem.  He took control of my computer remotely and do not tell me anything except that the computer would check and repair any problem on reboot, and if he did does not resolve the problem, I have to remember.  The computer has rebooted without the BSod, but I stopped to check if the loop went, and it is not!  To restart the BSOd was back.  It is to note that if I put the computer to sleep, I get a clean start, but stop, restart or hibernation, I get the blue screen of death (BSoD)!
    It is a Dell Dimension XPS 420 with a intel Q6600 processer, 3 GB of ddr2 memory, which came with OS Vista Home premium 32-bit.  The Vista system, the last time I got a BSoD has been for more than a year.

    After researching this problem on Google, it appears that there is a problem without a solution.

I'll never upgrade a Windows operating system.  My recommendation for anyone who is planning to upgrade to Windows 7 is to try first on a dual boot using the free download.  If it works for you, consider yourself lucky and buy the upgrade.  If it does not, then remove Windows 7 and stay with your old system.

  • Blue screen of death (stop 0x0000007B) after April Windows Update on XP Home.

    My machine (Dell Dimension 3100 with XP Home) home is set for automatic recovery of Windows updates. I reload often, but when I was forced to start again last week, I got the blue screen of death. Apart from the general BSOD error message, I got the stop code:

    I forgot the subsequent stop codes, but search recall I was doing on them indicated drivers disk or storage-related problem.

    I ran all sorts of Dell diagnostics on my hardware, get absolutely no problem. Scan of a viral infection was also negative. A colleague help out me suggested removing the updates of Windows of April, he did help and usefulness of the ERD. XP loaded and started after that, if I had to go through a process of slooow restart for most updates. My office also now charge many times slower - I suspect drivers and services can't find what they expect to find and take considerable time to make mistakes.

    My Dell has a range of Intel (RAID-1) matrix installed. I strongly suspect that this pilot was in trouble after the April update Windows Update.

    So, what should I do to prevent this from happening again? I don't know the specific fix involved. I have disabled the automatic updates for now.

    Last night my laptop that runs windows xp blue screened and says something about the queue and to bring the computer out of which I did. I just tried to turn it on an hour ago, I use it now, and I got a message saying he had recovered from a serious error and I wanted to report to microsoft? I clicked Yes, but unbeknownst to me, I had no internet connection at the point of having to re-enter my our Verizon router WEP number in this laptop. I essentially self-taught myself much on computers that tell you, I'm not really computer literate, but if you can point me in the right direction, I can very well do. This is where to ask my question/problem. I went in the event viewer and found this error/explanation: Index information is corrupt and Indexing Service cannot re - index the content automatically. User action: stop and restart the indexing service using the following command:

    SC stop cisvc

    SC start cisvc

    Can someone tell me please how to do this?  I think I know, but I'm really not sure so please help... Thank you

    It really seems to me as if you had a temporary problem which has now disappeared and that you probably do not need to do anything.

    However, please click Start, and then click Printers and faxes and report what, if anything, you see in the window that opens.

    If you don't see an icon for the printer that you think should be there, you need to fix this.  On the other hand, if your printer icon is there - or if you do not have a printer attached to your computer - you need not do anything.

    If you want your computer to be a little faster and at the same time save space on your hard drive, read the LifeHacker article I linked in my previous post.  However, you need not to do, and you can erase [probably] regardless of the index corruption has occurred by starting and stopping the Indexing Service (cisvc) by entering commands in a command prompt window that I described.

    Yet once, you don't need to change your encryption WEP to WPA or WPA2 wifi, but doing so will make your network more secure wireless.  If you want to change your encryption, you would start by changing the configuration of your router from Verizon.  You should be able to find detailed instructions on the Verizon support site.  I don't know if you have Verizon FiOS or Verizon DSL service; This is a page of relevant support FiOS--> http://www22.verizon.com/ResidentialHelp/FiOSInternet/Networking/Setup/Security/124980.htm
