I just got a text asking me to verify my apple ID
Hello
This may or may not be in line with this post on but I just got a text asking me to verify my Apple ID. It gives me a link that brings me to a screen where I need to connect my Apple ID and password. I haven't done this yet. I was wandering if it is a process of levitation or a scam to get my contact information
Legitimate *.

Given that you have provided very little information, I think it's a scam. Apple does not text you privacy.
Displaying a copy of the text message would be useful.
When you ask a question more information you provided on the problem, we are better able to help you.

I just got an iPhone 6 and when I plugged in my laptop, he asked if I wanted to restore my new phone. I said yes! But unfortunately chose the wrong backup restore with. Is there a way I can go back to how my phone was before?
Yes, you can as long as you understand that you will lose everything that is currently on the phone.
(1) settings > General > reset > erase content and settings
That will make the iPhone as new. Then, during the installation process it again once will ask you if you want to restore from an existing backup. You can then restore the scheduled backup.

Just got an email from Adobe, it asked me to click on the link to reset the password, but I've never asked to reset my password, which is strange? This email is from Adobe.
In any case, I changed my password just in case.
Oh, just to confirm it is used as a reminder to change my password once a while.

I just got a call from someone who said they were from Microsoft. It was obviously of the India. In any case, he said that there are problems with my computer and it asked me to do something, I would not. He hung up. He told me to click the button of windows on my keyboard. Then he told me type something in and running. But I refused. I said, how end I call Microsoft and give them your name... HE HUNG UP.
Hello DianeMcGettigan,
It is simply one of the many scams that are doing the tour.
Unless you have a prepaid support contract with Microsoft, then Microsoft will never contact you by phone, mail or e-mail about problems with your PC. You did while refusing to allow him access to your PC. All they want to do is to have access to your PC, so they can steal personal data (banking etc.) on your part.

I just got a phone call from a guy who said he was a member of the tech teaml windows
I just got a phone call from a guy who told me he was technical team of windows and someone had attempted to enter into my calculation, I told her that I don't have a computer, then he asked if I had a laptop that I don't have so I told him that. I asked how he had got hold of my phone number and he said they had the info. I wanted to take this more then I asked what was wrong and he said that if I turned on my computer that he would go through it with me. I didn't believe him, but what to do? Needless to say that I hung up on him, but as I am not very computer savvy so I'm a little worried. Can anyone help please. Thank you
It is a SCAM, you did the right thing hang up on him. He just wanted your information so he could use it for illegal purposes.

This is a complete scam and one that has become very common these days. . Don't think anything such a caller said, do nothing that he tells you to do and hang up on him immediately.
At let them into your computer? If you did you are at serious risk for what they could have done it (installed spyware? Identity theft? Steal the passwords?), and I highly recommend that you do the two following:
1 reinstall Windows properly
2. change all your passwords, especially those of the financial institutions and online stores.

I just got this Clip + and it's already broken?
So I just got this Clip +. Was not impressed with the sound on my old ipod nano gen 6 so I rockboxed it. Sounds better, but I've only used a few hours when I noticed, he started to act funny.
The buttons are now different things.
As I'll hit the button "home" once and he'll ask me if I want to shuffle or repeat. Or I'll be on the main menu screen try to select "files" to select my music and it will take me to 'save' or 'sort sensitive files.
It takes me to all kinds of different options that it should not. It's as if the buttons are all scrambled.
The only thing I did was rockbox it.
I just hurt?
Edit: Yes, I think I just do bad...?
In the second photo, your Player looks like it is set to the mode MTP or AutoDetect. On your player while in the original firmware in settings-> system settings-> in USB mode, what does say?
If this isn't mode MSC, game, the player to whom, then plug it to your computer and in windows Explorer, see if you can find the errant album so you can remove it.

Hello John
Without that society is not authentic. It's all part of a scam to gain access to your pc and steal your personal data.
Unless you have a pre-paid with Microsoft, support contract they (Microsoft) will never contact you for problems on your PC.
You did the right thing by hanging up on them. If that happens again, just ignore them.
