There are some possible solutions to this problem, including performing a hard reset, clean the contacts of the cartridge and the firmware update.

This guide covers all of these solutions, and it offers also some details on the maintenance of the printer with HP if they do not resolve your problem. LINK

  • 3520 Deskject HP all-in-one: newly replaced black ink cartridge does not print

My ink level is full.  I just replaced my black cartridge (with genuine HP cartridges). No black is printing.  I tried all the troubleshooting tips including the alignment of the printer, clean the print head. Remove and reinsert the cartridges.  I replaced the cartridge several times during the past year is nothing new.  Can't understand why black will not only be printed.

    This is your last hope.

  • all the pages of bad qualities with the toner after replacing the toner cartridge

I just replaced the old cartridge with a new one, but now the pages come out covered in black toner to make the text unreadable. I tried to turn the drum several times following the directions to distribute the toner evenly, but the problem remains. Please advise?

    Hi, Happytohelp01.

    Thanks for your kind response,

I use a black and white HP Laserjet 1010.

I am trying to print a text, the printer does not have a digitization Center.

Yes, this is the first time that I had no problem with this printer.

The toner is melted and begins to run out, so I replaced it with a new replacement cartridge I bought the printer about three years ago. Later, I shook and reinstalled the old cartridge, which seems to work very well with no black spots. The new toner would be obsolete?

  • All-in-one Deskjet 1510: "cartridge has no" deskjet hp1510

I just replaced the black cartridge for the first time on my deskjet HP 1510. Before replacing the status for my tricolor cartridge supplies still show a lot of ink. I use the official HP deskjet 92 black ink cartridge and the cartridge three-color 61.

After replacing the black ink cartridge, the two lights on the printer ink started to blink and the HP utility application on my computer States:

    Device status: ink cartridge problem

Alternative: Cartridge failed - tricolor ink cartridge failed - black ink.

I tried to restart the printer, remove and reinsert the cartridges and clean the contacts of the cartridge. I also followed the instrucutions of http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Deskjet-1510-All-in-One-Printer-series/5157551/model/5157552/...

There is no change in status, and I'm unable to print.

Unfortunately, my warranty expired 6 days ago so I would be recognizing any suggestions to solve this problem. Thank you!

The e-all-in-one printer Deskjet 1510 uses the black 61-61 color cartridges as indicated on the site of HP SureSupply here.

There was an old series PSC 1510 which could have used the 98 black cartridge, but the HP 98 is not compatible with your printer.

You need to replace the cartrdige balck with a 61 HP or HP 61xl cartridge.

  • Replace the ink cartridges and not shown on the new copy of the outs ink

I have a HP 8500 printer a9110. I just replaced all ink cartridges 3 colours (black cartridge is always good). After replacing, I tried to print and all that comes out are white print out without color or very light tone. I tried to go to tools clean and align the heads. Cleaning worked but received failure on align option. I turned off and unplugged the unit kidnapped and released new ink cartridges. Also, I removed the two heads and cleaned with a soft cloth. Everyone knows this problem before. Any help is appreciated.

I don't think that should have used a lot of ink.

Although it shows that 60%, I think you should be able to print as well.

Sorry I don't really have much information on it, but I'm glad you were able to solve your problem!

  • All-in-one Photosmart HP 7510: Photosmart 7510 - black ink cartridge print does not, but the tests are very well

All the test prints are very good.  I have cleaned the print heads, broken cartridges.  I just replaced all the yesterday.

    Hey @jas493,

Welcome to the Forum from HP Support.  I hope you enjoy your experience here.

I see you have a recurring problem of print quality with your HP Photosmart 7510 e-all-in-one printer.  I want to help you with this.

What you describe, it seems that you tried all HP recommended troubleshooting steps.  Fortunately, given that your printer has a removable printhead, there are some other steps you can take to address the issue:

  • Poor quality Photosmart E5510 all-in-one print

I just replaced all four cartridges on E5510 all-in-one. Print quality is now very low for black. Black words either do not appear, they come out light gray or they come out garbled and unreadable. The operating system is Windows 7 64 bit

    I ran clean print head

    I ran Printer Status Report

    I ran Print Quality Report

Quality print Cyan, Magenta and yellow is perfect, but there is no black

I use brand new authentic HP364 cartridge

I replaced the black cartridge with a second brand new genuine HP cartridge and the results are the same.

Any suggestions as to what is the problem and the solution to the problem?

There is no black in the printer status report

There is no black in the print quality report

There is no black in the printer alignment page

I have called HP customer service and went through everything with a very helpful technician on the phone.

He tried everything, including resetting to the factory settings, but it doesn't always have to print in black.

HP are now send a jib of warranty replacement printer (my printer is less than six months old)

    Thanks for your help HardBeatZ

  • All-in-one Photosmart B109n - won't print blackcopies

For some time I have used this printer since black prints only and did not replace the other ink cartridges, because they are empty. I replaced the black cartridge several times and have been perfectly happy with print jobs that I need to do.

I just replaced the black cartridge again, but I now get blank pages when I try to print jobs. Despite this the printer tells me that the cartridge is full.

The reason would be that I have have not replaced the other cartridges, or is there something else that could be causing the problem?

In other words, is it likely that I will be able to solve this problem simply by replacing the other ink cartridges?

    Your advice would be welcome.

    Thank you very much.

    Tony.

I'm happy here, the printer working once more, sometimes the printer must sit idle to allow ink to zero on its own system. If you have a free moment and would mind not mark the post with troubleshooting as the Solution, this will allow the other members of the community to easily locate

  • CP1700 - fault - attn: replace all four cartridges!

    Hello world

My printer has served me VERY well for years. I have original cartridges (all the use by date), and all test ok print heads

The printer just reported all four cartridges need to be replaced

Clearly, something else has all broken, or obtained the dough...

The clues of what I might try?

    THANKS in advance

    Kevin

    FIXED

I suspect that the battery is down below the fully functional voltage - its an old printer!

DIFFICULTY = completely remove the internal battery of the watch-like (large)

For photos of similar printer/battery: http://www.land.netonecom.net/tlp/ref/letters/hpPrinters.php

Here's what to do to remove the battery

Lift the cover, look on the left side (side opposite to the print head and cartridge areas), it is just visible towards the rear. I could not quite put to work (safely) so decided to go back, as follows:

Battery REMOVAL PROCEDURE = from the back of the printer remove the rear feeder by pressing the two big buttons and lifting of the body of the printer. Then remove the dark grey cover on the right (where all cable connectors crossed) by removing the two screws Torx of T-20, one on top and the other under the magazine platform, that you just removed. Drag the grey cover will cost about an inch and then it goes out completely. Under this cover, you will see a vertically mounted metal plate that has three screws Torx T10 you will need to remove. Once you did, wriggle and tip that plate (slightly) outside (be careful not to dislodge cables or connectors), just enough to see the battery. With a small screwdriver, taken the battery under his arm. THROW IT OUT. Look like upside down!

My printer is now fully functional again - although currently, he grunts more than it used too - I think I dislodged some dirt/dust - anyway, it looks like it will continue to serve me well for a little longer

    I hope this helps someone
