my address

Saudia arabia dammam 31517 box # 67885

Are you sure it of a Tecra M30 and not Tecra M3?

In any case, each point of service of Toshiba in your country should be able to send a new recovery Toshiba laptop CD.
So just this service point of contact and order it. It s not very expensive.

    Hello

I lost my CD of restoration of my Qosmio F20 - 111

I tried to order on the internet but got the message that he was old.

Can someone find me on the internet or tell me am I get a new one?

I assume that you will need to contact the ASP in your country to get the Toshiba Recovery CD. The European Toshiba backup online store would provide the recovery CD only the most recent series of laptop.
To get an older recovery CD, you need a help of ASP.

Help us understand what "I lost the ability to restore the system" actually mean for you...

Are you unable to launch/open the system restore?
Are you unable to create a new Restore Point manually?
Your system restore calendar is empty dates?
You preform a restore and get a message that has failed or nothing has changed?

If the restore in safe mode will not do, keep reading:

It would be useful to know a few things about your system:

What is your system brand and model?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination?  (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)

The afflicted system has a working CD/DVD (internal or external) drive?

You have a genuine XP installation CD bootable, which is the same Service as your installed Service Pack (this is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

What do you see (exactly) that you don't think you should see, and when you see it?

What do not you think that you should see?

If the system works, what do you think might have changed since the last time it did not work properly?

  • I lost the disc to restore my phone and it is no longer supported by the manufacturer. Can I use the installation disc for my desktop with my laptop serial number?

I lost my laptop computer restore disc and it is no longer supported by the manufacturer. Can I use the installation disc for my desktop with my laptop serial number?

My title says it all. I have an old HP laptop that they do not send to restore the disc more (I don't know yet I had one; his old laptop from my brother) and I have an installation disc for my new PC. I have a Windows XP Home edition SP2 installation disc. However, as the hard drive of my laptop broke down, I don't know what version of windows it was. I think it should have been an OEM version and the sticker says it was Windows XP Home Edition.

Now, anyway I tried to install my installation on laptop computer disc, offering series of laptop computer but now it asks me to activate. Will it work if I activate it?

    Thank you

Unless you are lucky enough to know someone who has a generic OEM drive, which you can borrow, I don't see a practical solution for you.  I advise you to spend the money to buy one, even if you could find one to buy from a reliable source (not eBay!).  Although a generic OEM disc should work with your product key, there is no guarantee that it will work with your product key.

If your laptop can be retrieved through a restore partition, and you can't borrow a disc that will work with your product key, then you have pretty much exhausted all reasonable or practical options.

I finally did! I borrowed a copy of a generic OEM drive, through activation and it is!

Thank you much for the help...

Now I've done could you help me more? Say now, I returned the drive OEM back (don't want to make an illegal copy) and want to be able to use my current system installed to generate a system disk that will allow me to avoid all the problems I've had up to now. What would you recommend? I've read a few articles on other forums (I did some research!) but is a little confusing. I hope you could help.

    Thank you

My Question is if I delete, I'll be able to restore my contacts, settings, photos etc to a new iPhone if I get a?

It's an iPhone 5, I'll try to get another iPhone 5.

Another issue is that if I had a 5s, I would be able to restore it? or should it be a 5?

You can only restore back what you backup on iTunes or icloud.

You can synchronize your contacts/notes etc. with some email again or icloud program that you use to synchronize with.

  • Lost in Time Machine restore photos

At the end of my wits. This is the second time that this has happened. After you erase and reformat my hard drive, restore partition I restored a backup of all my files that had been made a few days earlier Time machine. It LOOKED as if all went well, but now I find that one of my Albums, which had well over 150 photos, or iPhoto has only managed to restore 14 of these photos. And this is the most important. As I say, it happened the last time I did this kind of restoration as well.

After I did the Time Machine in the system restore, I was prompted to rebuild the iPhoto database and did, and I was also invited to "import" all of my many boxes to the letters and their content in the mail. So far, it seems that IT worked, but as with iPhoto, most of whose albums DID restore entirely, or at least seem to have done, I fear that there are losses latent God knows where.

I pray that someone can explain to me how this could occur and how to fix it.

In addition, why in the categories among which I must choose are there no category for Time Machine?

Update: some research, the first under the spotlight by a file name the closest to one of the 14 who in the appropriate album, and then, after trying manually drag some of those in the album and being rejected because he claimed that the pictures were already in the iPhoto library, I opened all of the photos in the photo library and finally understood how to sort them by title. And there were all these «lost photos» Try and then drag them into the appropriate album, I have had no joy. It simply wouldn't do. So, I created a new album without title and was able to pass all these photos in this one and then re-name-the.

So, obviously, it is random random sort by Time Machine, put pictures in their albums proper during a restore. Does anyone have an explanation of why this would be the case? If I didn't have a photo of survivor in the game with a title to be used as a means of rallying defined overall in the undifferentiated photo album, I would have needed hours and hours to track them all, and if I had not known instantly that many disappeared after restore, this album, I would never have known even to go look for them.

Of course, one would expect time Machine to do what it is supposed to do in a situation like this?

  • Lost my cd of restoration for my Satellite A110

Hi I have a Toshiba Satellite A110-275 and it needs a restore but I lost my restore cd. How would I go to get a replacement from you guys? Cheers.

    Hello

I Don t think that none of the users of the forum will send a recovery CD. We give each other advice and suggestions, but that's all.
If you need a new recovery and then contact a local authorized service partner and ask them, they will surely sell / send you a.

If you need help to find a service partner, then you can check it out here on:

    Good luck

  • I lost my disc to restore system for Satellite Pro M70

    Hello

I lost my system restore disc for my Satellite Pro M70.
If anyone can help with possible solutions. I want to restore it for my sister to take to College.

    Thank you
    Greg

    Possible solutions?
Well you can take the Microsoft Windows disk and can install windows by using the original Microsoft disc. All the necessary drivers and tools are placed on the European driver Toshiba page.

I think you will not be able to order this disc of the local ASP or on this site https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx because the M70 is a little older

So the real solution can be an installation of the OS by using MS Win drive

  • Cannot restore my Tecra A10 from recovery disc

    Hello

I'm having a problem restoring my C disk from a disk image. The Toshiba HARD drive recovery utility seems to have disappeared from my computer.
When I followed the instructions for restoring (be it by pressing 0, or F8 during startup to access the HARD drive recovery utility) I finally get a message saying

"The creation of means of recovery is impossibe! File recovery HARD drive on the second disc of the first hard drive not found. There is no valid disk HARD recovery environment on this computer. »

(I get a similar message if I try to open the Toshiba recovery disc creator in the start menu)

Because this does not work, I tried using recovery discs that I have made previously using the same utility. I insert the disk and start the computer (according to instructions), but nothing happens and it starts Windows normally. How can I use these discs?

My laptop is a Tecra A10 16 d Windows vista professional.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

As much as I know saved on HARD drive recovery image can't disappear. I guess you did a few exchanges of structure of HARD drive and now recorded image is not found by the wizard of HARD drive recovery or Toshiba Recovery Disk Creator. Both of these tools know where to look for it, but if they do not find specific markers you will get this message.

Now the only option for you is the use of recovery disks.
Do you use this disk for the first time now?
When you check the contents of the disc in Windows Explorer you will see the content?

Then try to boot using the created disc. Start Notepad, and then press F12. When the boot menu appears on the screen, place the disc in the ODD, choose the CD/DVD drive on the list and press ENTER.

What happens when you do this?

  • images lost after a buckup, restore

Hi, I made a backup of latest version of itune on my iPhone 6 using my laptop. I then did a restore of my iPhone 6 s that had all of the deleted data and pictures of 2016 do not exist. I still have backup on my computer for the iPhone 6. What should I do to get these pictures on the 6s?

    Thank you

If you use iCloud photo library, photos are not stored in the backup. The photos remain in iCloud and must re-download.

If you do not use iCPL, try to restore the backup again and make sure you select the correct backup in the drop of the option to restore from backup.

  • File CDDVD.ini missing on the usefulness of restoration of Tecra A6

I recently bought a Tecra A6. Unfortunately, this does not include recovery discs but has a utility cover of CD burner.
When I try to run it, it gives the message that it can not run C:\ProgramFiles\Sonic\RecordNow!\RDC_info.ini.
When I open this file, it consists of "INIPATH = C\ProgramFiles\Sonic\RecordNow | \CDDVD .ini

This file is not in this folder or anywhere else on the disc.

Any ideas on how I could get the missing file?

    Hello Geof

It's very strange because the recovery images are tested before it will be produced and preinstalled on new laptops. Maybe you have preinstalled own burning software and it have some negative influence. On this path, it is really not easy to say what to do.

I assume you won't have sadisfied in my opinion, but Toshiba support in your case may not do much. They know that the image is tested and it should work correctly and allow you to create the own recovery DVD media. If you have problems like that please contact your local dealer or Toshiba service in your country. No one said you have to go. Please call, explain the situation and maybe you will get a copy.

    Good bye
