The error STOP: 0x000000F4 can occur for several reasons. There are many reasons why your system may crash because of these screens to stop errors\Blue. The most common scenarios are: faulty drivers, hardware problem (especially RAM). In this case, the issue could be due to the motherboard is heated.
Check firmware and system disk controller BIOS settings are correct and that the storage device has been correctly installed.
Method 1: The problem is possibly due to material of unsupported disk controller. Check if BIOS (Basic Input\Output System) is set to IDE. Enter the BIOS and check the settings. Change the SATA to IDE option (if available). You can view the manual to do the same thing.
Note: Be careful when you change the BIOS settings. The BIOS interface is designed for advanced users, and it is possible to change a setting that can prevent your computer from starting properly.
Method 2: Disconnect any external devices from the computer except for the mouse and keyboard and check if that helps.

Original title: to continue, type an administrator password, and then click Yes, but he is nowhere to type a password and Yes is disabled.
Yesterday I just reinstalled Windows 8, replacing the preview of the version and the official version.
I would like to disable UAC and various other things, but I can't.Do you want the following program to make changes to this computer?Control parameters of account user (or almost anything from the control panel)To continue to type the administrator password, and then click Yes.There is no area password to type in. He 'bumps' when I type. I can only click on the No button or display unnecessary details.I will not restore the system on a new installation. Apparently, it's an old bug that has never been fixed because you can just tell people to do a system restore and close the book on the complaint. If please post a proper fix and stop wasting users time.Hi, I know I'm a little late to the party, but I found this post faced a similar problem and thought that post my findings.I found a work around for this problem, which does not require a reinstall of Windows, but you may lose your user account.Summary:The problem is that in Windows 8, the administrator is inactive by default, you will have to find a way to activate it. You can enable the admin account as an administrator,.However. Fortunately, (on my machine anyway) it seems that you can access your hidden from the Safemode administrator account. If your first set of objectives will be as follows:-starting in safe mode-Log in as an administrator-l' administrator, enable the account administrator similarly.-Restart your machine and you as an administrator outside of safe mode (normal mode). From here, you should be free to do what you want. Now that the admin account is active, you are allowed to type a password when prompted (by default that the password is empty). For me, however, when I tried to promote my previous user administrator account (among other things) I noticed symptoms that seem to indicate that the account ceased to exist. I went through measures to set up a new account and get it synced with my microsoft email account.-Create a new user account-give administrator rights-remove my old (for some reason, hidden) account-Sync to the top of my new user account with microsoft e-mail account.Directions for use:How to get admin access:(1.) start in safe mode. You can make it easier by opening a command prompt (Start menu-> type "cmd"). And type "shutdown/r/o".2.), your computer begins to restart, but give you a set of troubleshooting options. Choose troubleshooting->-> start of the Advanced Options settings.3.) after reboot and enter safe mode, users of contactor by going to the start menu-> click on your user name-> and choose administrator.4.) Windows will begin the first initialization for this account.5.) once connected, open the command prompt, this time as a Director. (Make a right click-> Run as administrator).6.) type "net user administrator / Active: Yes" to set the admin account as 'active'. It will now be shown outside of safe mode.7.) restart your computer and log in as administrator again. You can now add users and to play with the permissions etc. (metro options are not available in safe mode, where the reset). How to remove your old account of 'lost' and synchronize your new account with the microsoft account.1.) create a new account via the control panel users. Don't forget to give you administrator rights.(2.) to remove your lost old account by typing "net use/del" in an administrator command prompt. You need to know your old account name, good luck with this one. 3.) go into the settings of your pc: open the context menu on the right-> settings-> "change PC settings."(4.) to go to the users-> Select 'switch to a Microsoft account» tabI hope this helps! -

I just finished a new construction, including Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Update all the drivers went through, and now I get BSOD. Initially, I'd get them, after that the system wake up to 'sleep' mode, but this morning I received after you start the computer from the closure. This was my first computer build and I really enjoyed until the software part; simply too many current intangibles. A lot to learn and I'm happy to do, but my wife would like a stable computer.

Seat of Windows XP PRO X 64. After you uninstall old graphics drivers, PC does not long enough to install new graphics drivers and continually, it passes loop BSoD after windows login. I disabled the effect loop so I can display the blue screen message. I read that its actually the file videoprt.sys in service pack 2. don't forget that this is the version 64-bit (located in windows/system32/drivers) who has a bug (ver 5.2.3790.3959). I did some research to get the version 5.2.3790.1830, but I can't download it to replace the current one. Does anyone have a solution for me? Currently, my PC has no graphics driver installed because of this problem.
The minidump file showed a SYSTEM_PTE_MISUSE (da) stop error referring to the vgapnp.sys (VGA/Super VGA video driver):
BUCKET_ID: X64_0xDA_vgapnp! VgaStartIO + 226
The process that crashed was the SteelSeriesEngine.exe:
Nom_processus: SteelSeriesEngi
If the SteelSeriesEngine.exe is the process that is constantly crashing and then disable this process to start as there may be a conflict between the SteelSeriesEngine.exe and the vgapnp.sys.
You could try renaming the SteelSeriesEngine.exe in the directory of the program SteelSeriesEngine to something like SteelSeriesEngine.old

How to recover the password lost for windows 7?
How to recover the password lost for windows 7?
While your application may very well be authentic, it could also be interpreted as a surreptitious attempt to bypass Windows security.
The only recommended method to retrieve an administrative password is to login as another administrator account and reset the password to a known unknown. If the administrative passwords could be easily overcome, there would not be much point in them.
It is in the terms of use and the Code of conduct of the responses of these forums to request or provide assistance to the cracking a password. Do not forget that you agreed to these and review if necessary.
You can view the policy of Microsoft about lost or forgotten passwords (KB189126) for more information on what resources are available to you.
The only advice I can offer you is either log - on another user with administrator privileges and reset your password to a new, use the password reset disk that you created when you set up your account, start guessing what the password could possibly be or reinstall Windows by default.

Inserting a Flash Drives and cell phone causes blue screen - stop 0x3B
Original title: inserting a few Flash Drives, but not all, and cell phone causes a blue screen of death
Computer Dell Inspiron 518 Intel core 2 quad, 6 GB memory, office 2 years.
HP Vista 64-bit, Service Pack 2, updated version 6.0.6002 fully implemented.
No change to HW or SW immediately before the first detected failure, but the USB port which is not often used.
History - off Ready Boost after a short experience and installed months ago driver and card Renesas Electronics USB 3.0. This driver has been disabled through all of this, but I've not yet physically removed the card. Disable ready boost was simply to stop - no other instructions not found for removal.Anitvirus BitDefender and Malwarebytes scans are both clean.
A flash drive works fine, but three others cause seconds blue screen of death after installing into any USB port. Bought a new flash drive and it also causes a crash. Found cell phone also gives BSOD. All work fine on another computer. USB is currently led printer, external hard drive, digital camera downloads and keyboard/mouse very well. Tried both USB ports with the same results and back and disconnected all other USB devices except the keyboard and mouse. Remove and reinstall all USB drivers (6) one by one (the 1CH9 Intel USB controllers host family) and USB controllers enhanced (2); also storage device USB and device drivers USB Composite and façade drivers card reader. After each new facility, any 'bad' flash player causes immediate crash. 'Good' flash player's Centron Centon Pro 8 GB and one of bad flash drives is one attached PNY 8 GB, another a San Disk. I think, but I don't remember, that the 'good' flash player was installed for Ready Boost test.
Unable to find a failure code or no trace of several accidents in the problem reports. Here is all the data of failure that I could find:

Bluetooth, causing the blue screen with error message: out of State driver
Hello
I am posting this in the other thread here but it was closed before I could solve the problem. Background:I left on vacation for 4 weeks and I left my computer. When I came back, my computer was giving me the following problems:- Video playback of my SIN was rough and freezing - I fixed that by finding out one of the drives died on RAID-1
- After 30 minutes, the computer would give me a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) and reboot - I have updated every driver I could, each piece of software, update the BIOS and then finally solved the problem by updating the firmware on my boot drive: a Crucial 128 GB SSD m4
These two problems have been resolved, but can be useful to understand the current problem
Current problem:After trying to use the webcam for video chat via Gtalk or Skype, my Bluetooth Logitech MX5500 keyboard and mouse stop responding. About 10-15 minutes after the call is completed, my computer gives a Blue Screen of Death with the message of STATE FAILURE of PILOT.The minidump file is available here, and I understand that the cause is due to my Bluetooth driver: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/30633232/052212-24429-01.dmpWhat I tried:- I've updated all the drivers available on the Asus site for my motherboard Asus P8P67 EVO, including Bluetooth and the BIOS driver
- I've updated my HD Audio integrated system with the drivers available on the Web from Realtek site
- I've updated all my drivers webcam and Logitech software
- I uninstalled, restart and reinstalled my Bluetooth drivers
- I have not matched and repaired my Logitech MX5500 keyboard and mouse
- I uninstalled, restart and reinstalled both Skype and Gtalk for Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer plugin
The ask:I'm out of ideas... would like to get the genius of someone on these boards help me please! The problem may be with the c:\windows\system32\drivers\sptd.sys:

Blue screen stop error 0x0000007e (etc.) updated the bios?
My copy of Windows XP pro does not start at the login screen, I get a stop error 0x0000007e (0xc000005, 0x805d625b, 0xb84c34f0, 0xb84c31ec)
I looked at these stop error numbers and, since there are a lot of hard disk space, try update BIOS. The instructions on the Microsoft Web site stop at 'Contact your manufacturer.' The Dell BIOS update, I downloaded is an .exe file, but the instructions I found are all for a .iso file.
How do I boot from CD to update the BIOS without this kind of file name or how to update the bios in this form?
Is there something else I should do if the BIOS update will not work?
Thanks in advance
