  Here's a quick test of 2 minutes to shoot a key of your always.  I left all settings visible effects if yo can see what I've done.

  On the bottom layer, I used a luminance key to extract the best I could from the background.  This left a lot of shadow on the ground still visible, so I used a mask to get rif of the lower segment of this layer.

  On the top layer, I used a color key linear to extract the best that I could.  That leaves a lot of rounded edges and holes, especially around the skin tones - so the two layers.

  There are still obvious holes in the ball reflections that would need to be filled.  It is far from a perfect result, but perhaps won't work if your scale is small enough for your final result.
