I'm not able to run a Windows Azure application

I have a very strange problem.

I'm not able to run an application in windows azure has a WCF service and mschart inside. Here are the steps to reproduce the error:

(1) create a new windowsazureapplication with an empty asp.net webrole
(2) now to add a new WCfService
(3) run to make sure it works ok

http://i.stack.imgur.com/1g6gW.PNG

(4) now in one pages include mschart and open page design to ensure that the webconfig is changed to use the mschart.
(5) now try to run the project.
I get the error message like this one:
Enter a description of the image here

Is this a problem with blue windows or I do something wrong?
FYI: This isn't my first project on windows azure.

As far as I know Toshiba doesn't support this Microsoft stuff, so I think that Microsoft is the right address for these issues.

Have you already checked that Microsoft saying about it?

  • Not able to run standalone LabVIEW RT application cRIO (works well in development mode)

    Strange question.

I'm trying to deploy an application of RT to a controller for cRIO-9074.  I developed the application in development mode and everything works and seems to be being debugged.  However, when I try to build and to deploy the application as the startup, the application seems to start running, then stop cold (based on the CPU usage as described in the Distribution System Manager OR).  At this point, I can't debug because the application is stopped (no updated variable).

The problem seems to be related to the NI_AALPro.lvlib library, because if I turn off the function polynomial evaluation, the code will compile and start fine.  I'm tempted to recreate the necessary functions and create my own library, but I prefer to find the problem and fix it rather than re-create the wheel...

Is it possible that the library badly uploaded to the controller?  If so, is it possible to force the appropriate library to be transferred to the controller?

    Thanks for any help.

    Toader,

    Thanks for the reply.

I think I solved the problem.  For some strange reason, the functions inside the NI_AALPro.lvlib were not available on the cRIO at run time when the application tried to run in stand-alone mode.  I ended up adding the library to the section to always include the source files tab in build specification and the program runs now.  I'm not sure what it is, but it works.

    Thank you Morgan of NOR.

  • system is not able to run the Apple Application Support service

I can't install itunes on windows 7 32 bit. Any suggestions on Apple Support do not work. The system is not able to run the Apple Application Support service. Any suggestiones?

Can you post the error message you get when you try to install or launch iTunes?

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.

The more information box has direct links with the current and recent if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with third-party software.

Backups of your library and device should be affected by these measures but there are links to backup and recovery advice there.

  • Age of Empires 3 does not start on a vista machine, get this error "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires III\d3dx9_25.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error."

I'm trying to play age of Empires 3 on my computer running windows vista Home premium and the program does not start. I get the error message: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires III\d3dx9_25.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error." I tried many suggestions from Microsoft (resettlement program, reinstall in safe mode, update & reinstall the drivers for my video card, the compatibility issues with vista, updating and reinstalling directx 9.0 c, install vista service packs 1 & 2) but nothing has worked so far. I was able to play the game on the same computer with windows xp installed (it's a different hard drive that is not in the computer, and everything is the same) and it worked fine. My computer is old enough, but like I said the game worked before installing vista. ASUS A7N8x deluxe, AMD Athlon xp 3200 +, ATI radeon 9600, 2 GB OCZ ram that all suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

    Hi Raygun55,

Welcome to Microsoft Vista answers Forum!

This problem may occur if the Microsoft DirectX file that is mentioned in the error message is damaged or is not copied correctly.

I suggest that you copy the file manually by following the steps and check if you are able to play the game without any problems:

    Manually copy the file

To do this on a computer that is running Windows Vista, follow these steps:

1 insert the disc 1 CD for one of the following games into the player from the computer:

    o Age of Empires III

    o Fable: The Lost Chapters

    o Zoo Tycoon 2

o Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends

    2. click on start to reduce this includes this image and then click Documents.

    3. Locate, and then click computer.

    4. search and then click on the CD drive.

    5. Locate and then click the following folder:

    CD player :\ DirectX9

Note In this folder path, the CD player represents the drive letter of the CD drive.

6 double-click on Apr2005_d3dx9_25_x86.cab, right click on d3dx9_25.dlland then click copy.

In Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends, double click Aug2005_d3dx9_27_x64.cab right-click d3dx9_27.dlland then click copy.

Note Use the Apr2005_d3dx9_25_x64.cab file for the x 64 version of the Windows operating system.

    7. find one or more of the following folders, depending on the games that are installed on the computer:

By car : \Program Files\Microsoft: Age of Empires III

    By car : \Program Files\Microsoft Games\Fable - The Lost Chapters

    By car : \Program Files\Microsoft Games\Zoo Tycoon 2

    By car : \Program Files\Microsoft Games\Rise of legends

Note In these folder paths, drive represents the letter of the drive where the game is installed.

    8. right click on the folder of the game which is the part that is installed on the computer, and then click Paste.

Note If you have installed more than one game on the computer, repeat steps 5 and 6 for the other games.

You can check the link for more information: error message when you try to start a Microsoft game: "the file d3dx9_XX. DLL was not found": http://support.microsoft.com/kb/910813

Alternatively, you can try to install the game in XP compatibility mode and check if you are able to play or not.

Right-click on the game > click Properties > click on the Compatibility tab > select for XP compatibility mode > click OK.

Let me know if it worked.

    Hello

Did you do any change on the computer before this problem?

Try the following and see if it helps.

    Method 1:
I suggest to start in safe mode with network and then try to run a full system scan and check if it helps.
    Step 2:
    Microsoft Safety Scanner: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx
Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again. The data files that are infected can be cleaned by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

    Method 2:
How to solve the problem by running the clean boot in Windows Vista: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: once you have completed troubleshooting, perform the steps from step 7: to reset the computer as usual.

    Method 3:
To run a SFC scan, follow the steps described in the following Microsoft article.
How to use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

  • C:\Windows\System32\D3D10Level9.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error when it tried to update to windows live messenger

Original title: installing windows live messenger update revealed a .dll file bad, maybe direct3d related.

I am running windows Vista professional, service pack 2. I just updated windows live essentials, specifically the Messenger and have since lost feature program.

The launch of the program, I get an error message saying:

    "
    Msnmsgr.exe - bad Image

C:\Windows\System32\D3D10Level9.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try to install the program by using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the provider of software for support.
    "

subsequently I do not have much in graphical material in the e-mail program, insofar as a chat window is empty (but I can still type messages and send them, without being able to see, or no response). I don't see this problem in any other program, but perhaps no other programs try to use graphics in this way. In principle, I could downgrade windows live Messenger back to what it was, but that seems more to avoid the problem rather than solve them.

I had a quick glance in the D3D10Level9.dll file, in the system32 folder: it has no size and is apparently empty. Conclude that this file is just broken and needs to be replaced?

An internet search indicates that this file is described as "Direct3D 10 to Direct3D9 translation Runtime". I was wondering if it was a directx problem, so tried to reinstall that. It did not work.

It seems to me that I need a replacement for this particular dll file that actually works, but I'm incredibly careful to find a replacement and the "tips" on how to mess with some arbitrary site system files.

Could someone offer any advice on how I should proceed with this? What danger is there to find me a replacement dll file, change the privileges of the corrupted file, so I can replace it and make the switch? It would be the right thing to do? My analysis of the situation is correct? Could it be solved with a relocation of a program?

    Thank you very much

Uninstalling and reinstalling the update of windows for a year that has put the file d3d10level9.dll on the computer, the problem has been resolved.

  • The host CPU is not able to run 64-bit virtual machines

I am running VMWare Server Console on a Windows 2003 64 bit OS 1.0.3 and prepare to create a 64-bit VM server to test a new application on.  This forum server works on is a SuperMicro SuperServer 6025 B - TR +.  I entered the bios and activated the virtual bios in the CPU settings.  However, when I start my VM, I get the following error:

«You have configured the virtual machine as an operationg system 64-bit client.»  However, this host processor is not able to run 64-bit virtual machines or this virtual machine has 64-bit support disabled.

I looked online and saw some references to allow an EM64T which was to be activated but I do not see this option in my BIOS.  Someone at - it any other suggestions as to what I have to do to get the virtual machine to use the 64-bit compatibility.

Unfortunately, the 1.x server logs are a little sparse in this regard.  However, it seems that you have mixed steppings of physical processors.  In this range of models, Intel changed the VMCS review between the Bx steppings and Gx steppings ID, making it incompatible for the execution of VT - x.  Realizing their mistake, Intel has provided to OEMS for a microcode patch that makes the revision ID the Gx stepping VMCS matches that of the Bx stepping.  OEMs distribute this patch of microcode as a BIOS update.

In short, an update of the BIOS of your system provider should solve the problem.
