I'm trying to burn a music video on a DVD, but I can't seem to burn my DVD drive is drive D: not the E: drive. What should I do?

I run Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3

XP cannot natively just burn it to a dvd, use third-party software such as nero or roxio.  From there, you can choose which drive to use.
Also, if you want to watch on a dvd player, you have to burn as a dvd-video disc, a pc can read both this type of disc or a dvd data disc, where you just burn the file as it is on the disk.
