I need a disk to restore to my acer aspire 4315-2490

first of all, let me tell you, I'm a slayer of computers! This time I crossed and put some kind of security and in this case it won't let me use my internet cricket wireless. I'm trying to do a full restore of the operating system, but I've never done a restore disc. I can make things worse... Besides... I'm good at this part! Laughing out loud!!! Help, please?

Acer computers come with a recovery partition that can be used to restore the computer to its original state - read your manual for more details.

  • How to do a system restore on my acer aspire 731-4473 v3

Well, we have problems with wifi on this new laptop. Service center that works on computers could not even solve this problem... I tried to find the system restore function, but this is no where in the area of computer options. I would try it to see if that helps. Yes, I tried to manually turn the signal that there is a button to signal, but all that done is turn airplane mode on and off and just keeps showing the wi fi off. Help, please. I will try and resolve any issues you may have in the future, as I am a Hunter of ghosts and very savy with computers, but it is to beat the * outta my brain. One last thing, I am very persistent and stubborn as I do not give up and you want to learn things for me. The laptop is under warranty, but I do not want to wait 7 to 10 weeks for factory repair or replace. If this happens once I get it fixed or a new, even once, I'll have to repeat the whole process guarantee. I spent a lot of money on an Acer, I am stuck with him and learned to never buy a new one, but I would use my wifi like a laptop or pc is darn near useless without the internet these days. Thanks a lot for anyhelp, you can give. So is there an option to restore the system to do this, if yes, how do to it and if not is it possible to turn on that I'm missing?

ACERS recovery mode is called by pressing Alt + f10 when booting. It may take two or three times so he could load the screen boot options.

  • Do I need the disk to completely restore my laptop?

    Hey there,

I am wanting to restore fully my laptop so it's like using it for the first time again.

Do I need a disk to do this because I don't have a drive with him and my product key is on a sticker on the bottom of the laptop.

Please answer if you know it.

    Thank you

    Kim.

    PS; My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite A100 - 02 k.

Contact the Technical Support of Toshiba http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp or http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/navShell.jsp?cf=su_contact and see if you have a recovery Partition.  If so, it would be possible to do the restore from there (using a special keyboard command) or can be used to create a set of recovery disks.  He shouldn't tallk to them though, as it's their recovery process and non-Microsoft.  If you have no recovery or disk partition, ask Toshiba to buy a set of recovery disc (usually for a small fee).  I looked but could not find them, but they are probably still available, but just not listed on the site.  Don't forget to backup your data this process erases the hard drive clean at ALL.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Lost records system for OS 10.6.8. Need to clear and restore.

I'm trying to help my friend to preserve its old Macbook (since 2007, I think). He got a few old files, it tries to convert this machine before it is retired.

We are in a situation of need to wipe and restore, but it doesn't have the original system discs. The machine is running currently 10.6.8. I found like cnet that said we can download the software, but wanted to ask for advice before launch us into places. If you did similar things and have any advice, I would be very grateful.

Some may suggest to pass to a newer operating system. Maybe it is possible afterwards, but for him to get these files old I don't think we can go up to past 10.8, even if it is legal to do so.

    Thank you very much!

Even if you erase the disc, the only way to restore these files is to restore from a back upward.

A 2007 MacBook isn't still meets the requirements of Mountain Lion v10.8 > OS X Lion mountain system requirements

Do not download anything from Cnet. It's a good way to invite malicious software.

On the positive side, you can buy a disc of Snow Leopard at the Apple Store here.

May have installed a fake 'utility' called 'Mac advanced cleaner.' Like any software that aims to 'clean up' or to 'speed up' a Mac automatically, it's a scam. To remove it, please take the following steps. Some of the files listed may be absent. Back up all data before proceeding.

If you paid for the software with a credit card, consider the load statement to the Bank as fraudulent.

    Step 1

Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select this option:

    ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.pcv.hlpramc.plist

Right-click or Ctrl-click on the highlighted line and select

Services ▹ reveal in Finder (or just to reveal)

of the contextual menu.*, a file must open with a selected item. Move selected item to the trash. Log off or restart the computer.

    * If you do not see the item context menu copy the selected text in the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination. In the Finder, select

Go ▹ go to the folder...

from the menu bar and paste it into the box that opens by pressing command + V. You won't see what you pasted a newline being included. Press return.

    Step 2

Move to the next item to the trash as in step 1:

    /Library/Application Support/amc

This time, you may be prompted for administrator login password. There is no need to close the session after this step.

    Step 3

Place this item in the Recycle Bin:

    ~/Library/AdvancedMacCleaner

    Step 4

Open the Applications folder and move an item named "Advanced Mac Cleaner" (if it exists) to the trash. Empty the trash.

lost all data on my pc it says now I need a disk to reinstall on the pc but does not got one I can do

    Hello

Here are the different ways to reinstall vista

Contact the computer manufacturer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

they do it for a nominal cost of $

also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

you would normally press F10 or F11 or Alt + F10, 0 at startup to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

Ask them of the exact key sequence

or borrow a microsoft dvd vista

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

they contain all versions of vista

  • Adding an SSD for Acer Aspire VN7 - 591G - 70RT (need help)

    Hello

I have an addition an Acer Aspire VN7-591 G-70RT with a slow 5400 RPM 1 TB WD Blue that creates a bottleneck in my laptop.

I checked on Crucial to see if there are compatible SSD for my laptop which recommended:

MX200 crucial m2 Type 2280 (Single Sided) 250 GB internal SSD

I was wondering, do anyone know if this information is correct? I was having mixed information online, 250 GB wouldn't cut my storage needs, if I could only get a 2.5 SSD "so my intention is to have an SSD 250 installed and my 1 TB HARD drive.

Also, if the SSD was not the main drive would I still see the benefits of installing games who him? As in would be the existing WD blue always be causing a bottleneck?

Any help with this would be appreciated!

I have the device works now, I installed the MX200 Crucial m2 250G without any problem. Here's how.

    WEAR AN ANTI STATIC BAND:

Step 1) remove all the screws on the underside of the laptop

Step 2) use spudger or credit GENTLY lift a gap between the keyboard and the base, then use the credit card to slide slowly into the space to jump open clips, NOT FORCE.

Step 3) (OPTIONAL) remove the keyboard connectors by moving clip and gently remove the cable from the Jack. However the HARD drive slipped in for me without necessary to detach.

Step 4) unplug original WD HDD blue reversing the clip and disconnect the cable

Step 5) close laptop together and boot with Windows 10 USB install

Step 6) install windows on new SSD (for me windows automatically activated via the BIOS/UEFI) if it doesn't happen for you, simply re-attatch the original HARD disk.

Step 7) if the activation is successful, again set HARD drive and original format. I have kept all the original ACER RECOVERY and Partitions (Healthy) in case I need to restore factory default, but formatted primary partition.

  • I have an acer aspire 3690 and I am trying to restore windows xp to its factory settings how to do that

I have an acer aspire 3690 I am trying to restore to factory settings and is only let me go back to a certain date all I want on that, that's what org. came on the computer and the internet I do not have any disk

Page 28 of the manual of your system describes how use the built in Acer eRecovery Management software to restore your system to factory settings.

Doing so will scan all your personal data and when you did, I think you need to configure your Internet connection again since the factory settings are unlikely to know everything about your current installation of Internet.

If you experience a problem with your system, I think I would fix rather whatever is the problem, but here's what Acer has to say about it:

    The manual is here:

    http://support.Acer.com/us/en/product/default.aspx?modelId=5

    This article reads as follows:

Recovery and restore features allow to restore or restore the system
a factory default image, leave a user created image or previously
created backups of CD and DVD. You can also reinstall applications and drivers for your Acer system.

    1. press on + or select Acer eRecovery Management of the
From Empowering Technology toolbar to start Acer eRecovery Management.

    2. position yourself in the restoration and recovery page by selecting the button restore.

    3. Select the point of backup you want to restore from. You can also
choose to restore the system from a factory, to retrieve a default image
already created CD/DVD or reinstall applications and drivers.

    4. follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
