  I can't answer that question, but I can say that CS5 is is no longer being updated for the new hardware and operating systems, so as far as I know, if you buy an external with the same kind of screen 'High definition' monitor you have now, you will have the same problem

  I reinstalled Adobe Design Premium CS5 (disabled on the old PC and loaded and active on new PC) and updates fail to install.  The message is "there was an error downloading this update. Quit and try again later. "This message is displayed for each of the programs in the suite.  I tried to update four times during this past 7 days and always the same answer.  Apparently Adobe does not support the product more long (5 years).  Someone at - he had this problem and successfully navigated a solution?  Thanks in advance for your help.

  I recently had a problem with my card on my Macbook Pro, find themselves in having replaced. Beforehand I had to reformat my hard drive, where you uninstall Design Premium in the process.

  I am now trying to reinstall and it hangs on 'checking system profile' at all about the 90% mark.

  I am aware that others have had problems with this and recommendations have been made in what concerns creating a profile or just by clicking on the Setup icon and selecting "Show the contents of the package" and installation there, but none of those who work for me and it still crashes at the same brand whenever I try.

  I wonder what I can do then, I'm not too common sense when it comes to watch programs in the code if any help broke down in the simplest form would be much appreciated that I cannot to allow/should not have to pay on the new Adobe software , considering that it was find prior work format my hard drive.

Then, instead of just run the file I downloaded, I extracted and burned it to DVD. When I ran the Setup and pick out what I wanted to install and he said: ' "Please insert the Adobe CS4 Design Premium 1 diskette in drive G:\ to continue the installation.".

  See if right click on the .exe to install on the first disk file will allow you to run in Compatibility Mode. If you choose Windows 7 or Windows XP and try to run again.

  It will also probably help first run the compact tool to remove all traces of the failure of the attempt (CS for installation problems cleaning tool |) CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3) and to use a clean boot to minimize interference with the background and utility programs (see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135). Method must be essentially the same as Windows 8 (Microsoft does not seem to have updated for Windows 10 again). Let your mouse driver and active Hello if they appear in the startup list.

  When you install CS5.5 you will also get the prompt to enter the serial number of the previous application eligible version

  After putting the serial CS5.5 key.
