  Controller Ethernet, two devices; LAN or WLan. If the network card is recognized, then the Ethernet controller can be only a WLan card.

  I put t know what card WLan supports this laptop but you could install a hardware diagnostic software such as Everest home edition and could know what card Wlan. Then, visit the WLan card manufacture page and download the driver.

  Device-> you can try to install the drivers for modem of dome published for other series of laptop. Maybe it will work

  SM bus controller-> I guess it is a card reader. The same procedure as a modem device. Check some drivers published in other series

  I have laptop Satellite L305D S5895 of the customer. It was delivered to me by the customer who tried to install Windows XP Pro, Vista and none would install.
  He said he tried all the CD that he had finally dropped on it and delivered it to me installation.

  When I got the score have been removed, so I tried to install Win 7 and when I do a custom install, I get an error indicating that the hard drive can not be formatted on disk 0 or it will give an error that no hard drives have been found.

  I have reset the bios default and no matter what I do, it won't format or find the hard drive. I was going to upgrade the bios, but the only way I found to upgrade the bios is once windows is installed.

  Everyone has ideas about this laptop so I can get a system installed. I checked the bios and there is no parameters for a sata, raid or IDE disk drive, so it seems that this version cannot be changed.

  If I m not mistaken this laptop Equium A210-1AS belongs to the PSAFJE series.

  According to me it was equipped of the * Realtek(10/100M) 10/100MBit LAN chip *.

  So if you need an XP driver for this chip LAN then I recommend you research the Realtek is website owner.

  I did a new install of Windows 7 (32 bit) on my desktop HP Pavilion Media Center a1640n and need to find the device driver for the ethernet controller.  Device Manager, it is generically known as "ethernet controller" - there is no precision manufacturer so I can't go to the site to find.  Device Manager, it seems that the network connection works correctly (Intel 82562v 10/100).  I guess that's probably an Intel processor, but which?  Any instructions or advice find download ethernet controller device driver would be greatly appreciated.

  It's a card ethernet (antique) to heritage for which there is no W7 drivers.

  My advice would be to remove it and install a compatible ethernet card from windows 7 in its place.

  in the drop-down menus, select "Windows 7 (64 bit)" and "drivers." Download the AMD display driver and the xHC AMD driver and install them.

  Since it is an APU (CPU + GPU), everything is linked together in a single chip. I'm not really sure of what is included in the xHC driver, but the best I could find is that it is similar to the chipset driver. It shouldn't surely all this trouble by installing (or put it back, if the revision levels are the same).

  So I managed to install WXP on my Satellite pro, and I found all the drivers (I think?), except in the Device Manager I get always the symbol of yellow exclamation on other devices > network controller...

  I can't connect to internet even through my network card and cable Cat 5... I'm guessing because of the network controller...
  Can someone be kind enough to direct me to the driver for this network controller? It would be greatly appreciated.

  I would choose retrieve it without changing the partitions, which seems to be the safest way. You have backed up your data because you do not have the option of backup during the recovery process.
