  I bought your product here in Serbia and it is correctly registered on the Toshiba site for the LITTLE MATTER this warranty (I got the confirmation e-mail that I registered on 27 January 2014 [email protected]).

  On January 8, 2014, I contacted by phone Toshiba Service for the Serbia to ask for the support of the failed product. They checked my serial number and after that they confirmed that I am user Toshiba, they directed me to the authorized service of Toshiba for the Serbia 'Service '.

  Hi Toshiba,

  I demoted Win8 to Win7on the C870D PSCBEE satellite. After so much success, both pilots are still missing:

  * SM-Bus-controller *.
  * Network controller *.

  _Effects: _

  -no available WLAN, my home network is not displayed, press F12 has no effect
  -no internet connection

  + Curious side effect: + I was able to connect to my home dsl / phone to to run my Windows Update.

  I already tried to install several drivers controller Toshiba drivers network on the theme section / WLAN.
  No effect.

  Who could help me? What stage is missing? Where can I find the drivers above?

  Drivers CD is not supplied with this model of laptop and everyone can create this single CD using shortcut placed in Toshiba Assist under options Protect & Fix.

  This CD should be created for every installation of additional operating system. The drivers, tools, and utilities are the same for WXP Home and Pro. If you do not have it please check the Toshiba download page. You will find everything you need. Please note that you can also download the Instructions of facilities. It is very important to install all the drivers in the order of good facilities. When you do this avoid any problem.

  I hope that you have downloaded the correct drivers.

  Believe me, I have x times the drivers installed on my laptop and I had to follow the right order!

  Hi, I have a Toshiba Satellite A210 adapter - 131, which came with Windows Vista. I uninstalled and installed Win XP and SP2 and I have several problems in my device manager:

  I've got "Modem device on high definition audio bus" and "sm bus controller" with an exclamation mark. I have respected the order of installation instructions, I tried the modem drivers, even for different countries (the laptop was purchased in Germany, now I am in Romania). I started to install the modem driver, I have a progress bar that ends after a certain time, but after that nothing happens. I restarted and I get the same message! I've looked everywhere, I don't know what to do, please give some advice! And what of the sm bus controller? I also tried to uninstall some devices that appear after the modem in the list of instructions, and then try again with the modem but no result.

  Sorry, but it is not easy to give advice when the drivers of Windows XP Home for Satellite A210 aren't available yet.

  If the modem is not that important to leave you it until the drivers will be available. Who cares about modem? Can you live without it?
