I need to install icloud and icloud drive on a windows pc 10 otherwise than on the c drive.

I have a new PC with a disc SSD C.  When I went through the routine to install player icloud that he installed on the C drive, that has a capacity less than what I have in storage in the cloud.  I can put the files on the disc on a D - ILA 2 TB drive.

It is pretty easy to transfer your iCloud photo storage location. ICloud for Windows just open and click the Options button to the right of the photos. Then, click Edit next to iCloud, photo sharing and define the new location for storage of photos.

Store main iCloud (such as space, DropBox and OneDrive stores) is always in your user folder. But I highly recommend you move your user on drive C in any case folder, it makes your data independent of the State of your operating system disc. Here are the instructions to do this in Windows: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/redirect-folder-new-location

My setup of the computer must have a drive D: RAID mirrored with my user data on it and a SSD for the OS. Then I also have a network drive which is also a mirrored RAID disk that serves as my backup. I still have 2 copies of each work on the drive of local data file and after saving, more 2 copies on the network drive. I did lose a byte of data in 15 years even after several disk out of my drive to the operating system.
