I try to install WLan on Satellite A65-S126

I'm trying to set up wireless on my Toshiba A65-S126. I have the button positioned sideways on 'on', but Toshiba Wireless Projector (b) is not displayed.

Somewhere I found the text that says I need to install the projector of the utility but I do not know how to do this below?

In same time wireless was working so I know it can be done here, but a few months ago, we caught a virus and wiped our laptop, and since it won't work. Help, please!

"This article appear in the menu, the utility (Toshiba Wireless Projector), which is used to connect to the projector, must be installed on the PC. For more information about how to configure and use the projector, refer to the software operation manual or online help supplied with the projector. »

Hello!

Have you looked on the Toshiba site for Utility Spotlight?
Select this check box.

You can see your WLAN card in Device Manager?
Try to update your driver WLAN, you can also find it on the Toshiba site.

Good bye

I have a satellite A65-S126 and one day I started it up and I couldn't get a wireless connection because my wireless adapter (Atheros AR5004G) network I troubleshooted it and it came "10-program Code cannot start". I uninstalled and reinstalled it, nothing happened that I got the same error.
Does anyone have any help for me?

    Hi Joe

According to the Microsoft page means that code 10 - cannot start the device (Wlan card). Who could appear if the driver is damaged or / and some registry entries has been modified.

I put t know how you reinstalled the driver but I would first remove the old driver and then delete the WLan card also of the device Device Manager.
Then shut down the laptop and after restarting again the operating system should recognize the new device (Wlan card) then you can start the driver installation.

  • Missing HARD drive when I try to install WinXP on Satellite L40

I have a problem when I setup Windows XP. Its a message appear that there is no HARD drive devices.

    I am using Vista now.

    Waiting for your advice.
    Thank you

Ceco85 is right. You must install the Intel Matrix Storage Manager before you continue the installation of XP.
The iMSM can be downloaded from the Toshiba page or from the Intel page.
Then you will need an external USB FDD to include this driver.

If you n t the external USB FDD drive, I recommend the creation of a new XP CD with SATA drivers using the 3rd party freeware software called nLite!
    Google for nLite details ;)

I hope I can clarify this issue. Best regards

  • Satellite A65-S126: I get error codes 7 and 4 - need to replace the internal RAM

I was making mistakes first when I boot.
Windows has a file missing or currupted (isapnp.sys).
So I try to make a startup disk XP repair and while it is endearing to copy files, I receive other errror ' blah blah error code is 7 or 4.

I did some research on all three errors and every difficulty unique potintial ram bad or bad Bios settings. I tried to reset the cmos and I've updated since the last version of toshiba. Always the same thing.

I also replaced the ram with two sticks, that I had. The same problem. I think there must be some on board the cause of ram that I can get out the chip from the bottom and the laptop will always start and says it has installed 256.

Where and how we replace RAM or what do you think?

    Thank you.

Have you tested the memory? You can use Memtest www.memtest.org which is a floppy disk or a CD.

Perhaps the error is just guessing what the problem is. File copy errors can also be caused by a scratched or damaged CD, bad CPU, defective HARD drive, faulty DVD drive or motherboard. If Memtest passes, then test the hard drive for bad sectors.

  • Satellite A65-S126: could not find the RTC battery

I have my machine down, but cannot find the batteries to replace. Based on the support from Toshiba, the P/N is P000444350, but there is none of these things where I can see. Any ideas... ?

Even disassembling online manuals do not show them.
I know that there must be something here.
According to the operating instructions these batteries takes advantage of the power of the main battery.

My main battery is completely dead, would that account for the issuance of SNYC of time I'll have with the RTC batteries; because they receive no power to recharge?

Sorry for my misunderstanding but what battery do you mean exactly.
Do you mean the main battery or tiny RTC battery that attaches to the motherboard?

    > Also according to the operating instructions these batteries take the power of the main battery.
    That is not quite right.

The RTC battery provides power to the motherboard with internal clock and the BIOS can run 24/7.
There no matter if the main battery is empty. The RTC must the motherboard for several times as if the main battery is empty.

If the RTC battery is empty the motherboard may not be supplied with power and the clock, BIOS will be reset to zero.

In this case, you need to connect the main battery and the adapter to the laptop and leave the charge the battery for 12 hours.
For more details, please consult the manual of the user-> chapter of battery

    Hello Shadow

Maybe a stupid question, but I would like to know why you need to install driver WLAN. As far as I know your laptop comes with Vista Home Premium. The recovery image (factory settings) contains the right WLAN driver.
You have lost the feature or what?
Are you still using an original preinstalled OS or you try ti install your own operating system?

  • Satellite P200-1EE - hard drive not found if I try to install XP

    Hi I have a problem.

I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite P200-1EE laptop computer series (of all things) running Vista and nothing else problems so im trying to install XP Professional and crush Vista.

But whenever I try to install it says "disc not found... no access to.
I heard about such problems before something as a "block of software Protocol.

    Any suggestions?

    Hello!

Why you n t search forum before starting a new topic?
I mean you will find hundreds of discussions on this question here in the forum and you will find the solution to your problem in a few minutes.

Well, the reason for this is because you need the SATA drivers before installing Windows XP. As far as I know that your laptop is equipped with an Intel chipset and so you have the Intel Storage Manager. You can integrate the drivers of external floppy drive or nLite [www.nliteos.com]. In addition, this document could be useful for you:

  • Satellite M60 - cannot install WLAN card

    Hello

I have a Satellite M60 - 164.i installed Windows XP Pro. I downloaded the drivers. They are working except wireless drivers. During the installation he warned is perhaps not compatible with XP, but I continued installation. In the management of drivers, he says he can find t files.
In a nutshell, I need another driver. Or it happened during installation? I tried a few times and always the same story.
    Any suggestions?

Bonus: I want to install windows vista. These drivers will work on vista?

    Thanks in advance

As far as I know that your unit has Intel 2200 GB WiFi card. Please try to install the latest driver from the Intel download page
    http://downloadfinder.Intel.com/scripts-DF-external/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=1637&lang=eng

Vista operating system is not launched by Toshiba and there is no driver for it. I put t believe that they work with vista. The drivers must be created and tested first. You can try, but there is no guarantee of functionality.

  • Satellite L510 - BSOD when you try to install Windows XP SP2

I have a Satellite L510 purcahsed with Vista home premium, but when I try to install XP Professional it screens just as it tries to start windows and blue right after the installation of the part of pilots to the beginin.

Anyone has an idea why this would happen?

    Thank you very much

    Hello

I m a bit confused now... When you get exactly the BSOD? After complete installation of Windows or after that?
By the way: BSOD code what you get exactly?

I often read on codes of BSOD when installing XP so I guess that you didn't use the correct driver SATA. You need the Storage Manager to properly install Windows and you can find this driver on the Toshiba site.

By the way: you can also use the forum search to find similar topics.

  • BSOD occurs when I try to install Windows XP Home on the Satellite A100-VA5

I got a brand new Toshiba A100 - VA5 Notebook, here in Toronto in the Canada.

Laptop came with Vista. I don't have a problem with vista, but there are some software that I need for my work and they do not work on Vista.
I decided to install Windows on a partition, but when I run the XP installation CD, it errors on a blue screen with the error below

The Blue error screen I get when installing WXP stop is

    Stop: 0X0000007E (0XC0000005, 0XF76450BF, 0XF7A91208, 0XF7A90F080)

I searched on Internet forums, some people have had similar problems on a computer no-Toshiba with XP and the problem was caused because the XP installation CD does not have S - ATA Raid Controller drivers? Which after pressing F6 at the start-up of the plant, solved the problem.

However, I was unable to find the drivers for the controller S - ATA Raid on Toshiba support site, and I don't know where to find them. Someone knows something like that and it is due to S - ATA Raid Controller drivers? And if the answer is Yes, where can I find them since?

    Thank you

    Omer

    Hello

Everything you need you can find on Toshiba Canada support page http://209.167.114.38/support/Download/ln_byModel.asp#
When you choose your part number do not forget, you use PSAANC-VA505C number (check also on the laptop label in the lower corner of your laptop).

Now, back to the blue screen. As far as I know for this model of laptop is not necessary to install the S - ATA Raid Controller at the beginning of the procedure of the facilities. For laptops with RAID driver this driver is available on the download page. This driver is not available for your laptop model.

  • Blue screen when you try to install Windows XP Home Edition on Satellite L350D-11 has

    Hello
When I try to install Windows XP Home (including SP3) on my new L350D-11 has a blue screen after loading the drivers.
When booting with Kubuntu Live CD (8.x) appears an error message: / sbin/modprobe out anomalous.

At least I need Windows XP because of some programs that do not work under Vista. Is it possible to install XP?

    Hello

Hmm I think the BSOD appears because you didn t add SATA drivers in the Win XP operating system.

However, you can try to install Win XP on your laptop without the use of the SATA driver, but you can change the SATA AHCI in the BIOS in compatible mode.

  • Satellite A65-PSA60U has video problems

Red boots video screen and colors fade.

This happened after the download of the microsoft updates, so I think I need to download drivers for correct, but I can't find the right on the Toshiba support website.
Website does not recognize this model number.

What can I do to fix this?

    Hi Linda,.

Your Satellite A65 was built for the American market, so drivers etc are on the American Web site: -.

    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/Su/su_sc_modSel.jsp

However, before you download and install the replacement drivers I suggest that you try to restore your laptop to its state before the Microsoft updates you think caused your problem. You can use the system restore option to do this.

    Kind regards
