Today, I was called @ home by someone who claims to be call "Windows" in "San Diego", wanting to 'install' some Windows update "anti-virus". I don't remember anyone ever contact me @ home. Is this a joke? Malicious behavior? It seemed 'out of the ordinary. " Has anyone else been contacted like that?

Original title: Netbook Licensing
Can someone give me an answer to confirm if netbooks with Windows XP Home, Vista Home Edition, Windows 7 starter (these BONES other than professional or company) be used in a business, connected to the server environment to share files?
I read somewhere that these permits cannot connect to a domain, is this true?
Of coz these OS has not input parameters are even to join a domain, how can they connect?
CAN, that my understanding of that statement means that it cannot be connected to a domain server, means that the netbook cannot be connected to the server to access files shared server?
Can the netbook share files with other computers (vice versa), other than a domain server, on a network of companies?
So what my final question is a netbook can exist in an enterprise environment? What's a standalone machine?
I'm not able to get an answer very Microsoft Singapore confirm after the call to them.

Calls from fake Windows remedy.
Original title: WINDOWS CURE SCAM.
I received several calls from fake Windows Cure then when I let them think I'm addicted I give them a very high-pitched extended with a panic alarm and which should give them a headache or earache.
Hello Sam Kig,.
It's certainly plausible. Forums of people who fell there are enough requests FRO help on this and other, pray for these scammers. Everything we offer in fact is that they re-install windows, change passwords and notify their bank that they have been scammed!

Earlier today, I was a game on my Xbox 360 and decided I want to play music in the background, using the guide of 360.
I went to "Select Music", searched my PC in the devices menu, and it does not appear. This has happened before, I just figured out my PC was in place. I went to the 360 Dashboard and looked back to the server. He has not yet shown upward.
I went to Windows Media Player on the PC that I share the media selected in the dropdown under library and went to share multimedia files. (Here's where it gets confusing...)
He gave me a message saying "sharing multimedia files has been disabled because a Windows setting required or a component has been changed." I hit very well, and I went back to the sharing of multimedia files. Now, I had the option to check the box "share my media". I checked, hit OK, made sure everything was good to go. The unit has not yet appear on the dashboard. I went back to the sharing of multimedia files. To my surprise, I received always «sharing multimedia files has been disabled...» »
This is the part of the confusion: if I turn on media sharing, Windows it cuts back.
I tried all the solutions online that I could find, which includes deleting the files in the Windows Media AppData\Microsoft folder. Register a dll to the administrator. Ensuring that you have the "Windows Media" folder. All take very well.
Basically I narrowed down it to: nothing works.
Each person could fix their problem by using the solutions proposed in other posts on other forums/blogs. Mine is recurring. In addition, my media is on a separate internal hard drive, which I added to the Windows Media Player files to add multimedia elements. I went and deleted from here. I still have the problem of sharing.
All said Microsoft is to restore your computer to a previous state. It's not really useful. I don't want to go just restore. I want to fix it where. In addition: restoration would not help, I don't know how long this problem exists, but I have not known about it.
-Very well, after a fresh reformat the hard drive and re-installing Windows, I finally reduced the problem.
I have not had ANY problems with the computer... Until I installed my Adobe CS5 Master Collection again.
It turns out that the part of the Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended software called Adobe Presenter 7 causes the sharing to go haywire.
I deleted Adobe Presenter 7, and just like that, sharing has increased again.
In addition, Adobe Acrobat 9 was causing my sidebar to go haywire, so I advanced and which takes off as well.
Have not had a problem since.

We have 240 servers in a Rack mount C220 we are blind regarding the hardware monitoring. Because they are backup servers we do not want traffic to cross the FI, is there a way to monitor servers with the call using a single cable without using a VIC card through an Extender. The servers PCI slots are used with 10 GB 8 GB HBAs and broadcom.

HOWTO find out, if a VI has been called by teststand or independent series
Hello together
I am quite new to NI TestStand and want to use the screw ' TestStand - Get/Set property value ' to move dynamically of TestStand, Labview data and vice versa.
From the point of view of the concept I want to use parts of the screw in my TestStand environment for automated and also independent tests for manual tests.
Is it possible to automatically determine in a VI, if it has been called by teststand for the property get/set by a case-struture?
Best regards
Alex
Usually you have the context of the sequence. Use the is not a refunum to determine whether or not it comes from TestStand.

Hi VojislavJosimovic,
· Which antivirus program is installed on the computer?
Method 1: Temporarily disable the antivirus on the computer program and check if it helps. If it works, you may need to check the settings of the program.
Note: Check that you activate your anti-virus protection on the computer back after you complete these steps. It is not recommended to disable these settings on the computer. It's just to solve the problem.
