I've suspended wwhost.exe

Please help - how can I get that back

If you are talking about "wwhost.exe" display "suspended" in "Task Manager", there is nothing you need to do, Windows 'suspended' the process (it is kept in memory for faster access) because it is not necessary at this time, if necessary "Windows" will automatically "activate" the process.

  • connection to a local CD/DVD drive freezes

    Hello!

I have seen this problem several times in the last days: trying to connect my local DVD drive via vSphere Client with a virtual machine, the CD/DVD button says 'connection... '. "but never actually finalizes the process. I think that yesterday I was able to solve this problem by turning off the virtual machine, remove the device configuration and adding a new. Now, even if I delete the device, the power on the virtual machine (i.e. the CD/DVD button is grayed out because there is no device), turning off the virtual computer and add a new drive, and then turn it on again, the reader is always displayed as "connecting...". »

Is this a known issue? And how to get out of this situation?

As this thread is always updated from time to time, I would like to answer my own question:

The problem occurs, when there is more than one instance of vSphere Client running at the same time. I do it often, as I have more than one Server vCenter to manage. Even if all customers of vSphere are closed, check that no process failed or suspended "VpxClient.exe" are around. Kill, if necessary. Restart a single new vSphere Client, and remote media will be connected.

From vSphere Client as an administrator is not necessary. The fact that it is running under a different user name is also probably the reason why that works.

  • Forms let java.exe suspended at the time of the closure of forms

    I am slot that Forms 11 g, IE9, Java 7 update 21

I have problems with java.exe process remains suspended after that closing form.  If I have a an IE browser window open with two tabs, and then open two forms sessions, which creates two process java.exe.  I then close the two sessions of forms, and it leaves a java.exe suspended.  If I then close the two windows in IE browser, it removes the process java.exe.  I can reproduce this constantly.   It does not correctly as long as I don't have any other browser Windows Internet Explorer open to the time I open forms.

I opened a SR with Oracle Forms, but since it works fine if I don't have IE open before opening the forms, they won't help indicating that it is a question of Java.  Tried to open an SR with Java, but they will not help because we do not pay support for Java.

    http://forums.Oracle.com/Forums/Forum.jspa?forumid=82

It is a problem of browser/java plugin and has nothing to do with Oracle Forms.  If you open an applet in a browser, as long as the browser remains open the plugin will remain charged and the java.exe process will remain in Manager tasks.  Because the tabs in the browser are in the same browser session, it won't matter whether or not you close the tab.  The parent browser session is responsible for the java process.  Here are two of the many discussions on this subject which began in IE8 and continue today.

  • Tecra M4: TMESBS32. EXE stops hibernation

    Hi all

I read the forum trying to learn more about hibernation, standby, and TMESBS32. EXE

My brand new Tecra M4 wont stanby or hibernation. The problem seems to be due to the TMESBS32. EXE

Does anyone know why TMESBS32. EXE (see below for information on what it is) could shut down the computer after hibernation, or how I can fix this?

I'll go in the details below to try to help those seeking information with the forum search tool.

    ---

My computer worked fine until two days ago. What I did that day was to install updates from Microsoft and burn a CD with Sonic RecordNow! that came with the computer. Since then I could not Stand By or Hibernate mode (using the button in the computer window disable the menu start).

I looked on this forum, found my log files and a reference to TMESBS32. EXE causing the problem (see below for more details). If I finish this task so I can Stand By and hibernate again.

The following information is part of the event: TMESBS, Waring!, code: 17 h, CM_Query_And_Remove_SubTreeW ERROR.

    Hi Kelly,

I think that the idea to your problem lies in the fact that you had previously burned a CD. The TMESBS32 routine is a software designed to monitor the activity of CD burner you in the selectbay so that you can effectively share the device without causing Windows to crash.

As burn you the CD the TMESBS32 routine is now active monitoring the CD burner so that it can put an end to any associated process if necessary. The fact that this routine is actively followed is enough to keep your laptop in hibernation or on standby. For one of the following options to work then all currently active processes must be able to suspend their activities and write their current status of your hard drive so that they can resume later if necessary.
I suspect that the TMESBS32 process does not support this facility.

If you use their firewall and the XP firewall at the same time, this could also be a problem.

It is generally not a good idea to use two firewalls at the same time lest they are fighting among themselves.  Choose one or the other to use, but not both.  The XP firewall seems to do a good job.

  • Windows XP Home SP 3 won't stop or suspend.

It is an old laptop Fujitsu-Siemens, ca. 2005, German edition of Windows XP Home Edition.

-When I choose "Shut Down" on the start menu, the product of procedure normally stop until the final screen with the bottom of the welcome and the "Windows is shutting down" message... ». At this point, there is a swirl of disk activity that lasts about 30 seconds, then nothing. The only way to turn off the computer is manually pressing the power button for four seconds.

At no time do the message "It is now turn off the computer," so I don't think that it is a problem of ACPI. At the same time, I get no error message when I start the machine later.

I tried 'all the usual suspects' - cleaning of Norton and McAfee, the registry changes in order to reduce downtime, register ACPI settings. Nothing has worked. The system running AVG Free Edition 2011, but this closing problem since I got the laptop.

The problem is also there in safe mode. The computer will not restart or suspend, either - in both cases, he leaves me to welcome blue background screen (without the home - only stop messages).

As a user of Linux/Unix for a long time, I would address this problem by making the traces of the stack, ps, high and looking at the newspapers, but newspapers XP (Event Viewer) don't tell me something meaningful and there seems to be no way to "look under the hood" to see what is actually happening during this phase of stop - if I could see that I would have this problem corrected in a few seconds.

I would be grateful for the advice of a Windows guru, who can show me what I'm missing or hurt.

  • Cannot run msconfig.exe

I have problems to run exe files.  An application not found error appears. When I tried to launch msconfig.exe to perform a clean boot is a mistake came saying application not found.  This problem occurs in normal mode and safe.

    Hello

Try Mode safe mode with networking - repeatedly, press F8 that you start.

The best two methods allow scanners to run and/or AV.exe out of the way or removing.

    1.
CTRL SHIFT ESC - task manager OR right click on the taskbar - task manager

Process tab - complete the process on AV. EXE and continue with the uninstall Guide.

If necessary use start - computer or Windows Explorer to navigate to

C:\Program Malwarebytes Anti - Malware\mbam.exe or where it is installed - if
necessary right click on the shortcut of Malwarebytes - Properties - tab - target line to see where it
    is installed.

Right-click on it and rename it to ZZMbam.COM (or something different than now) and
Double-click it, and then run it like this. You can rename it back later. Do the same with
other programs according to the needs. Use this method to others as needed - NOT assume all
a program deletes all or that it is no other malicious software. Use the ".com"
prevents the extension as this malware. EXE to run.

    ---------------------------------------------------

    2.
Another method is to use them:

Use Process Explorer to "Suspend" the process will not stop

Then use AutoRuns to delete the malicious program startup items.

Now use UnLocker to delete the files in the malware.

When the operating system starts, a window opens asking me to "choose the program you want to open this file: file: rundll32.exe.". There are recommended programs and other programs, but I'm fairly certain that none of them are correct. Can anyone help direct me in the right direction to solving this problem? Every program I try to open, translates into an opening by asking the same question, but the file name changes to whatever program I am trying to the window. Thanks in advance for any help.
