  You might try to rename your AdobeUpdateAdminPrefs.dat file. Looks like Adobe CS6 and CC have an automatic update mechanism that can sometimes prevent users to see available updates.

  -Locate the file:

  Mac OS	/ Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdaterInventory/1.0/AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat
  Windows 7.0 and higher (32-bit)	C:\Program Files\Fichiers files\adobe\AAMUpdaterInventory\1.0\AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat
  Windows 7.0 and higher (64-bit)	C:\Program files (x 86) \common files\adobe\AAMUpdaterInventory\1.0\AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat

  -Try to rename the file, like AdobeUpdateAdminPrefs - old.dat

  -Restart InDesign

  The error has nothing to do with the suitcase. Apparently the update was not complete and you should probably uninstall ID and reinstall to get the version of the plugin correctly in place.

  My iMac asked for Indesign to synchronize before the opening, but my work MAC Po DOES not - and when you scroll over the file menu to sync MAC Pro hangs while the iMac is very well!

  I solved... what I did and you can try:

  1. Uninstall InDesign using its uninstall program (/ Applications/Utilities/Adobe installers/uninstall Adobe InDesign CC), I preferred to also remove preferences
  2. If you look at the applications folder, you will notice the InDesing folder is still there, don't worry, but it has removed or move the desktop folder graphics you might find (not sure if you have it) in the plugin folder
  3. fix the permissions (I guess it's absolutely useless, but I am a paranoid :-) and restart the Mac.
  4. Reinstall Indesign using Creative Cloud desktop application
  5. Start InDesign and check for updates via the Help menu
  6. Update InDesign (version installed before is the 9.0)
  7. Once repair permissions (useless once again, but I did not changed, still paranoid :-) and restart the Mac.)
  8. Now everything should be ok, excluded from your preeferences which should have disappeared :-(

  Yes, the U43M1D205 error indicates a problem with the download.  Please try to apply the update manually from page update of product by message #3.
