  Go to start / Control Panel / folder Options / view and check the box to show the hidden files and folders and uncheck to hide extensions of known file types.  Only the first is required for this problem, but the other may be useful later and you might as well do it while you're already here.

  Now, you will be able to see the folder.  It will be in the same place, it has always been (it has not been assigned) - it was just hidden and now that you can see hidden files and folders you can see again.  You may notice that it deteriorated a little bit lighter that other records - it is a sign that it is a hidden file or folder.

  James, if it came with the machine and you are not registered, then you can't get it from the dealer where you purchased the machine. PSE 8 is now end of life and we have limited resources for the same thing, make sure you check the system requirements | Adobe Photoshop Elements if you try to install it on a new machine.

  If you want to upgrade to the latest version, you can check: photo editor, change the images. Adobe Photoshop Elements 13

  For starters, stop Lightroom

  On Windows, do the following

  Click the Windows Start button and in the search box type: -.

  %AppData%\adobe\lightroom

  Then press Return\Enter

  This will take you to the folder Lightroom (see image below)

  Select the Preferences folder and click on delete to send it to the Recycle Bin.

  Close the Lightroom folder, and re-start the Lightroom program.

  Let us know how it turns out after that Geek Squad is done with your computer. Since there are other issues past with your computer, that they could have connected HP Smart Print issues as well. However, if they get everything fixed and you continue to have problems with smart printing software HP (or any other product of the HP) do not hesitate to come back and we will help you as best we can!
