  The Blender Forum figured it out for me. It ends up being the constant guard of Comcast. I didn't think that I had the problem right after that I installed. What's funny, is that the uninstall survey had this problem listed in their "why did you uninstall constant guard ', looks as if it's in the investigation, they must be hard at work to fix.

  The control utility and driver controls allow you to customize and TOSHIBA special button preset settings. But it is not a FN keys!

  You must install the Hotkey utility if you want to use the FN keys.

  Another tip:
  It is important that all Toshiba drivers and utilities are installed in the correct order.
  On the Toshiba driver page, you will find a txt file called installation instructions.
  Please install all drivers and tools in the order mentioned in this instruction!

• No Power Manager on T450s shortcut key?

  I installed a X 220 to a T450s, and I see that there is no shortcut key to select a profile for more power. This seems like a huge oversight. Windows 7 only allows its profiles of power native to be learned from its quick access tools (battery icon in the tray of the taskbar or menu of the Windows key + X). Now if I want to use one of the Lenovo power profiles (which are much more customizable than the native Windows ones), I have to make visible the toolbar of the Lenovo Power Manager in my taskbar so you can double-click it and wait for the application of Power Manager to launch.   I put t really know what you are doing with your device. If you want to have the factory settings still it can only work with a recovery facility and I don t understand what you mean with I have installed and uninstalled the software as I always do

  If you use recovery media there is nothing to install and more.

  Can you please tell us what features you need exactly? This will help us identify the problem much better.

  How can I prevent a switch to update it's GUI State when it is accessible via the shortcut (Alt + letter)?

  I want to be able to do this without disabling the control and adjustment of the mode indicator.  I have created a reminder to swallow the event_commit.  The control still toggles when you use shortcut keys, but not when you click the control.

  Thinking about your problem occurred for me to experiment with a few SDK function to check whether the key of the accelerator feature can be disabled. While I failed at it, I noticed that if you install a quick access key system via the function RegisterHotKey SDK is a priority on the accelerator THAT CVI installs everything by adding double underscore somewhere in the control label. In other words, even if the sign of the accelerator is present, a quick access key system comes before and prevents the recall affects to be fired. This could be a realistic solution for your real problem.

  I did a quick example that shows all this matter: you can test all the combinations of keys installed on the control and see what happens.
