I want to REMOVE pre-installed Dell program Sync Up.

Hello

I never used and do not always hear using the Sync software on my Dell laptop. I want to know if there is anyone with enough know-how to REMOVE it completely from my system. Key word: DELETE. I don't want it to exist on my computer at all. I want to REMOVE it. I don't want to turn it off I want to REMOVE it. If you can not tell me how to REMOVE it then don't post because you are not answering my question either. I have read and felt the frustration of many others trying to get this resolved and they only got shit 'answers' (they were not answers if they offer something that the user did not like to turn it off). If you are trying to suggest / tell me something that is not completely REMOVE the crapware from my system, I'll probably do panic.

Thank you

Gabe

Hi Gabe,

Please share the system model and the installed operating system. Assuming that you are running Windows 7, you can follow the below mentioned steps to remove it:

  • Click on Start -> Control Panel -> programs -> programs and features -> uninstall a program.
  • Select the application you want to uninstall and click Uninstall.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to remove the application.

If the step above does not work, you can install Revo Uninstaller Pro from the link http://www.revouninstaller.com/. Install it on your system, and use it to uninstall the app Sync Up. The operating instructions are shared under the section How To manuals and videos. This should completely remove it from the application of the system.

Note: It is a third party application, Dell cannot support or sponsor this application.

Answer please if you have any questions. I'll be happy to help you.

    Hello

First thing to do is to go to the HP website and see if the XP drivers are available for your model of HP.

    http://WWW8.HP.com/us/en/support-drivers.html

If there is no XP drivers, XP does not work for you.

If the XP drivers are available, looking for a place to buy XP, which is a terrible thing to do as Microsoft did not sell XP for many years.

You run the very serious risk of buying pirated XP software from anywhere on the Net.

Stay with your preinstalled Windows 8.

    Thank you

    Hello

    You can uninstall everything but.

Article 10 - Shockwave is Adobe and used for rendering videos etc. in some Web pages.

The only other software you can consider keeping is HP MediaSmart DVD - depends on if your PC has a Blu ray player, if it doesn't you will need this software to play Blu ray.  If you don't have a Blu ray drive, you can delete it fortunately.

I just want to get this program went lol. Anyone been able to do this?

  • How to remove pre-installed Windows XP and install my own OS on Satellite A100?

It s all in the question.
I bought my laptop in the Germany and also bought an English version of XP because the German is not my favorite and I'd like to customize my system - partitions etc. -.

How can I do? I have a 100 GB hard drive and a partition only. Already 11 GB are used by German xp so it's a waste of space.
I burned a cd of drivers with the Toshiba tools Wizard.

Do I have to format my whole hard drive and if so, how should I proceed?

How can I reinstall my Windows English after that?
If I then run the issues with drivers, how to? Should I just insert my cd of drivers up during all up?
Or is there a certain order in which I should reinstall the drivers?
Im a little scared that the graphics card may not be recognized by the system I will not reinstall xp from the ghost of manufacturers image, and then the screen could be all blue or black?

    Thank you

    Julien

    Hi Julien

I assume that you have an original CD of Microsoft Windows and not a Toshiba restore CD.
Well, if you want to use two Windows OS (German & English) then you must create a second partition and install second OS Win English on this partition.

But if you want to have only the operating system English, so you can install the original windows on your HARD drive with a partition.
To install the OS, just boot from the CD. The installation procedure will ask you if you want to format the HARD drive, etc.

After installation, you can download and install the drivers of Toshiba of Toshiba driver page, because you need an English driver:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=EU

And Yes, you must install the drivers of Tosh in the right order.
    Driver Chipset 1.)
    2.) common modules (if exists)
    Graphic driver 3).
    4.) etc.

But on the recommended driver page, you will find the installation instructions. Check it out.

  • How to remove pre-installed games

My computer running Vista when I bought it and I've since upgraded to Windows 7. HP is the manufacturer and it preinstalled several additional games in addition to the standard windows ones, as well as "My HP Game Console," who plays games. I would like to uninstall the game Console and the games, but there is no visible way to do. I don't see any entries in programs and features for games or the Console. I think that she wouldn't just delete the files in Program Files (but I welcome contradiction). How can I remove this software?

  • How can I get a recovery CD without all the programs pre-installed on A85?

My father spent $800 on a laptop Toshiba A85 (June 2005). His laptop computer has been running slowly most of the time, I made 3 re - installed for him it did not help, it is OK for the first month, but it starts to crawl when starting and simple tasks like opening explore seem to take forever.

I'm very angry with Toshiba they put all these DEMOS programs preinstalled on your laptop AND the recovery CD. This is not good!. The user has no CHOICE about this. Why Don t Toshiba provide these demos on a CD and let the user decide who he wants on his laptop!

I was lucky that I had a Windows XP CD (which came with my PC at home), I tried to install it and it helped a lot! But a few months later, her laptop is slow again. It takes 5 minutes to start and he is on all fours!

I did the usual things - chkdsk, defrag, norton, adware etc...

Is there a hardware flaw with Toshiba laptops? I noticed other people complain about speed?

His old office 700 MHz is faster!

I complained to the technical support of Toshiba (USA) on all pre-installed applications on the recovery CD, but they say they could not do anything for me. They said that a "Windows XP CD is a CUSTOM option and you should have specified that when you bought the laptop" - WELL WELL HOW ARE CLIENTS SUPPOSE KNOWLEDGE what before to BUY the laptop?

What did the Toshiba is not fair. They must have contributed money for all of these applications on the laptop, but it does not help the user it!

OS running slow is incumbent not only on the laptop to the manufacturer, but much more on the user itself. I agree that some things about the recovery image is absolutely useless, but you can simply remove the system everything you think you don t need.

No you don't have to have on your system. Remove everything simply. Another problem is the user himself. I know many users who install each software garbage as possible and then wonder if the system is soft.

I recommend you to check what antivir software you use because many of them slow OS and take too long in the beginning. Also check the list of startup items. Many of them are not important at the start and can be launched separately if necessary.

Google, a little bit and you will find many useful articles how system run faster.

  • Unwanted pre-installed software and programs

I just bought a new computer and "fired yesterday. There are many pre-installed programs/software that I don't want.

I looked in the Control Panel, and they are not listed. I have a Revo Uninstaller, and they are not listed there either.

How to get them out of my computer?

I have a HP h9-1180 Phoenix uses Win 7 Home.

I'll do my best. Many of them are just shortcuts to Web pages. You can be quite confident removing them or if you feel that you can use later to create a storage folder and keeping them there for a while.

Windows 8 on screen starting subway if I right click on it can tell UPIN therefore, it's a shortcut. Or you can hear UNINSTALL it. So I know this is the program, so I uninstall it. But most of the time, they are just shortcuts.

You can deepen by right clicking on the icon, arrived at propterties and it will tell you if it's a shortcut or a program. It will also tell you where this program is installed if infact it is a program.

I hope this helps. Moreover, if Norton is out there you can download a TOOL of SUPPRESSION of NORTON on the web. Just Google for it.  Let me know if all others.  Jack

  • Re: Want to get rid of Toshiba software pre-installed on the Satellite L650-165

    Hello

I just bought my Satellite Pro L650-165 and there are a number of software programs that come pre-installed with it.
Such as Toshiba Tempro, Eco fashion, Technology Council etc etc.

In view of the fact that I'm going to use this for my University I run many intensive programs of ram above.
So, I want to free all the ram, I can by uninstalling all these utlities.
I know what you think... Yes just because they are installed does not mean that they are running. But is it safe?

I know it takes but still ask. I just want to stay with windows7 plain ol' less all software 'cool '. precautions?

Oh and even though I created the recovery discs using the utility built into the to do... I thought ordering a Toshiba too. where to go for this?

    > If I want to free all the ram, I can by uninstalling all these utlities.
I know what you think... Yes just because they are installed does not mean that they are running. But is it safe?

Although these tools are installed, this does not mean that they would be running in the background and lose some of the RAM.
I wouldn't recommend uninstall these tools but to turn it off auto-start.
    How to do this? ESay
You can do it in msconfig.

Run msconfig and go to the Startup tab.
There you can uncheck just tools that you n t need initially.
Save the changes and restart the device.
If you need one of the tools again in the Startup tab, then you could do it

Notes; Disabling in msconfig process does not mean that you couldn't manually start these tools
Disable tools (process) in msconfig means ONLY that these tools would not launch automatically when windows starts.

  • Pre-installed Vista CD computer Dell laptop allows you to install Vista on another computer of dell desktop originally pre-installed with XP?

    Hello.

Have an old dell desktop with XP.
Have a new computer dell laptop with Vista.

    Both came pre-installed.
Both came with a CD to reinstall Windows.

Am I allowed to install Vista from that original CD on the desktop?
I did, then you have the problem (not genuine copy of Vista). I have since reinstalled Vista, but before I completely setting up the office, once again, I want to make sure that I am able to do this (do not want the new not genuine error).

    Specific questions:
    1. am I allowed to use portable CD to install Vista on another computer?
    2. If so, that must be done to ensure the "not genuine" error can't?

    Thanks for any help.
    Shawn

Reference Dell binds their records to their motherboards.

If your computer is pre-installed with Vista, it is classified as an OEM license and is not transferable.

The license of Vista OEM is related to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.
You cannot transfer it to another computer/laptop

And a Vista license = a Vista Installation.
