iCloud Apple music status is incorrect

I have about 50 + songs that tend to sync my iPod Classic because they (wrongly) show Apple music iCloud status.

The songs are all ripped to my own CD or LP/EPs and imported music in iTunes.

I use two Match iTunes and am a subscriber of Apple's music. My version of iTunes is 12.4.3.1.

Old bandages show removing the download (song) and the new download should be properly thru, but a test of several different songs give the same incorrect state music Apple iCloud.

Someone at - there a way to fix this?

Thank you

David

Yes, I had this problem also. I contacted apple support and their engineers reset my library to an end and it solved the problem, but there are a few songs that could not be reset, in which case Apple gave me the credit to buy the song again, and that fixed the issue

bbEst thing to do is to contact Apple support speak to a Manager or consultant and explain to them and you want to reset your library. You may need to disable iCloud music library while reset happens that it worked for me, it will be useful

  • iTunes game - iCloud status - 'Apple Music'

    Hey guys,.

You are looking for some kind of fix to my iTunes library. I recently decided to try downloading my entire library on the cloud using iTunes game (decided against the free Google game option as I want it to be integrated into all my iOS devices) but I noticed that some of my songs are returned with a status of 'Apple Music' to iCloud instead of "Linked" or "downloaded."

A quick google reveals that this means he was a native of Apple music, but these are direct mp3 downloaded from my iTunes library (when I right, click on the song-> Get Info-> file-> type: MPEG audio file). My dilemma is that if I delete my original file and finally want to re - re-download the file offline, changes to 'Sort of file' 'Music of Apple', which I found out, is a file locked of DRM.

This isn't what I want because I don't plan to keep a subscription Apple music forever (only have it because Telstra offered it free for 12 months on a postpaid plan) and I'd like to keep all my music on my iCloud library all without DRM.

Does anyone know a work-around for this? Very much appreciated!

    Thank you!

    Hello

If the State of cloud is displayed as 'Apple Music', it is a mistake. I sometimes noticed that during the matching process, other titles show first music Apple but shortly after the matching process ends they change correspondents or download.

First of all, try to go to file > library and select Update library iCloud music and let the match you scan library. If this does not resolve the problem, remove the beaches full of your library, then readd to your back ups.

  • ICloud for Apple music activation will damage my iTunes library?

I agree with Apple's music and I understand that if I want to add pieces of Apple's music in my iTunes library I must activate iCloud. I have so far resisted doing this since all reports of permanent damage to your library master iTunes at the time where Apple music was introduced. It means your iTunes library will be scanned and anything in the catalog of music Apple is copied in your iCloud, but at a lower speed to ICloud. Music you have (I have 1700 titles of a CD, I added that I bought) is not in the catalog will be copied in iCloud, but at a lower rate. But I was warned of the following problems. Does anyone know if all those who have been set? Of course, I keep a backup of everything on my Mac, but I'm afraid of damaging my iTunes library. I've read about problems are:

    1. DRM is added to the music you own and copied to your iTunes library.
    2. Music you have will be converted at any bit rate and a different format (I use MP3) and copied in your library.
    3. Many only find albums that they have got iTunes tracks scrambled, metadata for artist names and track names got scrambled, and playlists got out of order.
    4. Album cover and the track got corrupted and replaced with incorrect art.

I know things are not supposed to be true based on the Apple FAQ, but they occurred when music Apple and iOS 9 first came out. These questions definitely resolved?

    1. no DRM will not be added to your own music and copied into your iTunes Library UNLESS you decide to delete your original files and then re - upload to your computer's iTunes library. Or if you have set up a second computer share the same Apple ID and download the tracks to this second computer.

2 not - yet as answer #1 - if you delete your original files and then re-download. You will receive versions Apple music that - according to what bitrate you torn initially to-may or may not be a lower data rate.

    3. Yes, it happens. But most often it happens when you try to listen to music on other computers or devices. There was reports of these types of problems in their library (the one people used as source to configure BCTI) original iTunes and that's why it makes sense to have a backup of your original files. But, that being said, I've been using AM / BCTI since it began and I saw only occasional and minor problems with my metadata on my original library. However, I've seen a lot of questions on the iPhone and iPad that share my ID Apple and iCloud music library - mainly the wrong version of a song being substituted for the one I have in my library (the original) iMac iTunes.

    4 Yes - See answer #3.

Yet once again, most of these problems happen either (1) on the secondary devices you use with your music library to iCloud or (2) when people decided - usually to save hard drive space - to remove their original files and then replace with others of their MEMBER.

  • iCloud library on Match (vs Apple Music)

Is there a reason to maintain a subscription Match after Apple signed music to iTunes? the main reason that I had another match was to maintain access continuous songs "incomparable" (especially my own demos and stuff notcommercially available) that Match uploaded to the cloud. It seems that Apple music is that too by iCloud library. Am I missing something?

  • Why is my iTunes play count incorrect since I started using the apple music?

Apple music - usually as the because you work and I listened to some great stuff.  BUT, I went on holiday in Italy (no data service) to find that I have virtually no songs on my phone. I was just find around with iTunes on my mac and phone. I wanted to make sure that I got a lot out there.

I have a couple of smart playlists, I checked the last played column and it's more than a month, according to my iTunes I have not played any music at all since I joined apple music.

This is why my smart playlists are not updated etc etc.

How can I fix this? I disabled could run the music on my phone and downloaded all the music on it but the data are still hurting.

    Help, please

    Hi wooliewoollard,

If I understand your question, you want to know why your iTunes Library to play the counts do not show your activity using Apple's music.  Could you give a little more information on how you use the Apple music subscription?  It seems to me you have been mainly streaming content on your device.  While you can indicate your Favorites, which will update the suggestions For You, unless you download music to play offline, play music from your music collection, counties smart playlists and the game will not be updated.

Take a look at the resource below to get a better understanding of the functioning of the subscription of music to Apple and the music app:

Use of music music Apple in the app

    Listen offline

You can download songs, including songs that you purchased from the iTunes Store, adding music from Apple, or have been matched or downloaded with Apple music or iTunes game - to your device to listen to when you're not connected to the Internet:

    1. Tap the Options icon plus next to the item.
    2. Press the download icon to the right of the work of the song at the top of the menu of Options, or tap more to download from the bottom of the menu.
    3. The song is downloaded on your device.

To display the music you downloaded for offline listening, go to my music. In the section recently added, press the category picker (artist, album, etc.). Only downloaded music is at the bottom of the list of categories. When this setting is enabled, My Music shows only the songs you downloaded on your device. Disable this setting to see all of your music, including the music stored in iCloud music library.

    Add songs, albums, and playlists

You can add songs, albums, playlists and music videos to your library from anywhere in the Apple's music. Items that add you on one device are also added to your other devices that are connected to the Apple's music.

On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

    1. In the music application, find the song, album, or playlist you want to add.
    2. Tap the More Options to the right of the name of the song or the album.
    3. Press on to add the song, album, or playlist to my music.

Songs and albums appear under my music > library. Playlists appear under my music > playlists.

    On your Mac or PC

    1. In iTunes, find the song, album or playlist you want to add in the New tab or for you, or search within Apple's music. You can search music Apple from any tab except for the iTunes Store.
    2. Click the More Options to the right of the name of the song or the album.
    3. Click on add to my music.

Songs and albums appear under my music. Playlists appear in the sidebar tab Playlists in the Playlists of music from Apple.

  • Apple music turn on and iCloud library

Hi, I initially activated music Apple iCloud library during my 3 month trial and he has deleted all my music on my iPhone/iPad and iMac playlists and I had to reset all my devices to factory settings and start over again and recreate playlists. I am interested in the reactivation of apple's music once again.  It will remove all my playlists again if I reactive on all my devices?

also I have an iPod classic 160 gb that I use on a regular basis, how does this affect apple music?

    Thanks in advance

    Alistair

If you have created playlists for music in your iTunes library, then those should not be affected by the Apple music. That said you should always run Time Machine or another backup solution in case something goes wrong.

If you re-enable music Apple and iTunes in the cloud corresponds to all the tracks in your library and available to any eligible device that supports music Apple. Securities without correspondence will be downloaded and available for broadcast as well as iTunes Match made. Once this process is complete, you can create new playlists that incorporate the musical Apple or make use of the Apple held selections in the sections 'For You' and 'New' to iTunes and the app music iOS.

Note that Apple music is protected by DRM and devices must have wifi or cell phone to confirm your subscription before you can listen to or download songs from Apple's music. So your iPod Classic won't work with Apple music. Unfortunate but that's its something that will not change.

  • How transefer library of music to another device (Apple Music)

I just purchased a subscription to the music of Apple and added music from my existing iTunes about 1400 songs library (not all songs have been purchased directly through iTunes but most were). Once I enabled the Apple music subscription however, my Macbook is no longer directly sync to my iPhone. This includes all my previous music and playlists as well. I would really only two devices to have the same things, but I can't figure out how to transfer all the music on my iPhone since my Macbook that contains my complete library. Can someone help me please understand the best way to complete this transfer without having to download all via wi - fi?

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7163823 - if you subscribed to Apple music or iTunes game, you will not have to run manually or synchronize music on a device in iTunes. Synchronize your music is made by iCloud and all of your eligible music should appear there. Movies can always be synchronized.

  • Defining what songs will be available in offline mode after joining apple music

    Hello

I have an itunes library that contains 20 GB of songs. I used to sync my library of music manually on my iphone so my iphone contained 14 GB of music.

Now I joined apple music and all downloaded itunes my music library in the library of music to icloud and all songs appear on my iphone. The songs I used to sync with my iphone has a "local version" and the songs that I chose to not synchronize with the iphone are appearing as a 'cloud' with the symbol cloude version so that they not use my iphone storage.

All of this is great. But - that's the problem: now, when I connect my iphone to my computer and enter in the music sync iphone settings, I can't change like before sync settings because I use the music to icloud service.

Now what can I do if I want to change my songs will be available in offline mode (and use my iphone storage) and what songs will be available in their version of cloud? The only way I've found that I am able to do is to choose one song from the library on my iphone and press 'delete '. Then he turned to the version of cloud. But I have thousands of songs! I need to free up space on my iphone and its driving me crazy that I can't control accully of music that is on my iphone.

Based on the iOS 9 (I have no iOS 10 in front of me)...

On the device ' settings app > general > storage management > music '. You can select artists to remove or navigate to Albums & songs.

I think that iOS 10 has also an option to delete in-app music...

    http://www.McElhearn.com/the-hidden-delete-song-button-in-the-iOS-10-music-app/

I don't know what will happen if you re-sync with iTunes, it's probably going to copy any return, so you will need change the settings for synchronization if you always connect to iTunes.

  • The end of my Apple music it didn't renew for 2 days, no library now?

SO I use music to Apple for about a year now, and I had no money to pay this month after a great holiday, spare wheel so he had to wait a few days until I had once more means, of course, it gives you a period of time in which to pay, but I couldn't not until 2 days after that my subscription has been cancelled...

When I finally got to renew it, I encountered a problem...

on my Mac that all my songs have been returned to my library, however on my iPhone 5s, only my purchased songs are there... The Apple music playlists are still there, but they are empty...

How to restore all these songs on my iPhone?

I have already activated my iCloud library once again and the music Apple but not luck!

On your iPhone, tap Settings > iTunes and App Store > (your Apple ID) then click on logout and restart your iPhone and go back and reconnect.

  • Apple music songs download on Mac

I have loaded many songs in Apple's music in my music on my iPhone and they play very well, but when I try to play them in iTunes on my Mac, they do not play.  They are listed on my Mac, but do not play. If I click on the download icon in the upper right corner of the iTunes window, it shows the songs, I'm playing, but they are not downloading.  I use the music library to iCloud and iTunes game and other songs that are in my library but not stored on my Mac will download and play without problem, but nothing of Apple's music appears but does not play.  What Miss me?

Exactly the same problem here! I can't download them and if I play iTunes just ignore them until he plays a song, that I already downloaded it. also, if I try to play a song I haven't added to my music it's jumping if I try to add a song it doesn't either. However, it works fine on my iPhone, if I add a song via my iPhone and I restart my iTunes the song appears, but it just does not download or reproduce.

Tried to restart my Mac several times without a bit of luck. Anyone with the same problem?

    = EDIT =.

Disconnected my Apple ID account from iTunes (account-> Sign Out), iTunes froze for a bit but he then answered and all my Apple music disappeared (only my original local music was always available), then I signed up again and after a few minutes, all my music Apple appeared again and I was able to download and reproduce the songs. Hope this fixes the problem for others as well.
