I want to use the iMac as a display for the Mac mini, but it seems that thunderbolt display does not work (I can not upgrade to Windows 10 by pressing Cmd + F2)

Kind regards

If command-F2 does not work
If your iMac won't go to the target Display Mode when you press Control-F2, check these things:
- Make sure the iMac that you try to use it as a screen that supports target Display Mode.
- Make sure you are pressing Control-F2 on the keyboard which is connected to the iMac to use as a screen.
- In the keyboard system preferences, if the check box is enabled to use all F1, F2, keys etc. as standard features, changes of command-Fn-F2 key combination.
- Make sure that your Mini DisplayPort or Thunderbolt cable is connected to both computers.
- If you are currently connected to the iMac, you want to use as a screen, try to connect to return to the login window. Then again press Control-F2.
- Some old keyboards Apple and third-party keyboards allow may not control-F2 to toggle display modes. In this case, use the keyboard that came with your iMac to activate / deactivate the target Display Mode.
- If your iMac is currently started in Windows, it will not be in target display mode. Target display mode is not supported in Boot Camp.

Satellite 1110: Secondary display does not work
I have a satellite 1110
Connection of a monitor second - does not work
The settings are correct in what, move your mouse off the screen of the laptop and he enters the secondary monitor - but this monitor is empty
Tried all the normal things - control work? Yes etc.
I'm running XP Professional could be corrupted or is it more likely to do with my laptopPlease someone help - new monitor for Christmas - just can't make it work
Thank you
Hello Nick
According to your description, you can't write that the second display doesn t work. Of course, you have activated the option called extend my Windows desktop on this monitor. In this case, you can remove all windows laptop for external monitor screen.
If you work with more different windows on this way, your work will be more comfortable. I assume that you do want this and it will be interesting to know how you want to use the secondary display:
-secondary display only
-but both with the same point of view?Remove the scope option and use the FN + F5 key combination and choose display to use.
Good bye

Startup and display does not work well.
When I start Windows XP it takes about 4 minutes to the icons appears. They appear of normal size and the screen turns white and the size of the icons and programs and the internet are extra-large. I go into display properties and reconfigure and find his game on 8-bit! After configuration back to normal display and restart or turn on again the same thing happens!
Also, I tried to do a system restore and it does not work either. Please advise me on what to do. Thank you!
Hi RhondaHeaven,
I suspect that your display card drivers are corrupted. You have your cd/dvd drivers? If this is not the case, download your display drivers (you will get the model and make from Device Manager - click on start-> settings-> Control Panel-> system-> hardware-> device-> display adapter Manager).
Click Start-> settings-> Control Panel-> system-> hardware-> Device Manager-> right click on your display-> Uninstall adapter.
Uninstall display drivers Intel of add/remove programs.
Restart your computer. Reinstall the drivers from the cd or downloaded driver.
I hope this helps.

Hello.
This weekend I decided to do a restore of the system on my Pavilion dv7 4080us (LW170UAR), as I have done several times previously, using the built-in HP and the recovery etc. partition manager.
Operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, and everything worked OK with the new facility, with the exception of two things:
- I don't see my AMD display driver listed on device listing Manager. Only 'Intel HD Graphics Family' is listed under graphics cards. I tried to download the drivers from the support page, but it doesn't help.
- The fingerprint reader does not work. I tried to uninstall the drivers and software several times, rebooting and everything else I've seen that suggestions on these forums, with the files found on the support page of my laptop. No luck yet.
I would appreciate any kind of help. Thank you!
Excellent! I am happy that you now have the correct drivers installed.

I have connected a retina 12 '' Macbook to a Thunderbolt display via two adapters, and no video is coming through.
Here is what I use:
1 USB - C for HDMI: (Apple USB - C to HDMI adapter)
2 HDMI to Thunderbolt (Monoprice adapter)
Any ideas what's happening? The Thunderbolt display is without a doubt, since power is to come via USB when I plug my phone directly on the back of the monitor. The Apple adapter works because I could try to connect directly to a LG monitor with HDMI ports.
The present model 2015 MacBook 12 inch Retina does not support the Apple Thunderbolt display
what I read. The other models Apple Cinema can work if they are used with correct adapters
as other brands. Some adapters support the audio, while others do. Note there is
limits for the specifications of display supported; This can limit their usefulness if it is not better configured.
Special adapters and cables can allow to configure some display options for use with the MacBook.
The graphical support through MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro varies with the specifications.
The absence of a Thunderbolt port, use of adapters to provide only what it can bear MacBook 12 plug-in software component.
and the mini-display port cannot connect or transfer at frequencies Thunderbolt usage views. The
cure should be taken as built-in support for this; If the adapters could carry signals. A new model
could understand such an improvement; but there is nothing of this specification in the Apple Store again.

The Satellite A200 display does not work
Hello
I own a Satellite A200, since yesterday my screen did not work. I hear vista start in the background but theres nothing on the screen when the system is off. Please help me...
Hello
Go you through the devices different views?
Using the FN + F5, you can switch to the external monitor or maybe TV you used this key combination accidentally? It would be also advisable to connect another external monitor to the laptop to check if anything should be displayed on the monitor
If you're not going to see anything on the second monitor, then a default display could be possible.
The A200 is not very old series of laptop I think the warranty to be valid. Therefore, you can contact the ASP in your country for and verification of the laptop.
Good luck and greetings mate

UserInterface-Guide (PDF), image display does not work
Dear community,
I have a problem with the display of images. I use Eclipse Version 3.4.0 with the official Blackberry RIM Plugin. Device Simulator simulates a BlackBerry 8300.
There is a PDF Document on http://na.blackberry.com/eng/developers/resources/tutorials.jsp called UI A11
which shows how to set up a small interface, including the 3 images. After you have copied the source code in a new project Eclipse-BB, I have created 3 new images that should serve as a "canada.png", "us.png" and "uk.png" (these are the names of files mentioned in the PDF Doc) and imported into Eclipse. The code compiled without error.
When I run the program on the Simulator, I can see the labels and buttons, but there is no images.
I deleted the png of the eclipse project and added 3 jpg: I see no more.
Can someone tell me what is the problem?
Sincerely,.
Patrick
Put a breakpoint after a lines like:
_ukImage = Bitmap.getBitmapResource ("uk.png");
If the Bitmap (in this case _ukImage) is zero, the system could not find the resources file, and then you said it to. This should be added to the project, if I went in the JDE, it would be in the same directory as the source. Not sure on Eclipse, I suspect the same. So, add in the right place, and the bitmap must be found.
Compiling and running will not fail if it does not find the resource. However, you will notice a line in the output of debugging, but I'm not sure about this.
And welcome!

Equium A100-147 - Native resolution on the external LCD display does not work
Hello
My Equium A100-147 has 1 VGA and 1 S-Video output, so I use the VGA output on an external LCD monitor with a native resolution of 1680x1050@60hz, but integrated graphics Intel 945 card doesn t give me the correct resolution to choose for this monitor, the closest is 1600 x 1200 and some weird widescreen resolutions other that make my monitor see the scaling an ugly picture.
So I tested another external monitor with a native resolution of 1920 x 1200 resolution closest gave me Intel drivers is 1920 x 1080, even the installation of two drivers of monitors, remove and reinstall the driver and same formatting the machine and reinstall everything from scratch gave no different results.
I have another laptop MSI Wind with the same graphic card built in and the same version of the pilot, and the laptop detects both the monitor and the good resolutions for them, this isn't a problem of Monitor driver.
Seems to me that is a problem with the S-video output, which makes this mess, but there is no way to disable it in the BIOS or any other place in Device Manager I still seem.
Can someone give me some advice for what can do?
Thank you!Hello
You cannot choose the preferred resolution because the graphics chip does not support this external resolution or the installed graphics driver is not contained in this resolution. The two cases are possible.
If you want to know if your graphic chip supports this resolution and then take a look at the user manual and check it.
If the chip of the graphics card would support this resolution and you will not be able to choose, then that would mean that the graphics driver does not support this resolution.
But first he must find out what external resolutions are supported by the GPU.

Toshiba 40TL938 - connection Intel Wireless Display does not work
Hi all
Recently, I bought a Toshiba 40TL938 TV.
As far as I understand it's WiDi capable so there WiDi adapter receiver bulit and could function as a wireless display.
I managed to test the WiDi connection and tried with my portable Leovo T420, who is also capable of WiDi.
I installed all the updates for gfx and wifi, activated my Wifi addon and installed Intel WiDi application. This is all required and everything went well.
I've updated the software in my TV for last available via Wifi update (July 2013)
Unfortunately - no success at all. Laptop is not TV. The TV Setup is quite obvious and sophisticated couldn't do anything there.
TV is able to connect to my wifi network and see T420 on network (because he sees as DLNA network drive). Computers laptops direct Wifi works well with other devices.
Is there something I don't understand or hurt? Is TL938 WiDi capable because he has receiver WiDi built in or it is just compatible with external dongles WiDi?
If the answer is yes then the second question technical specification for this TV is very bad - it's not WiDi enabled TV at all and it is misleading.
Welcome,
TomekHello
The TV is certainly capable of Intel WiDi.
You said your Intel driver and tools are p so far, but I would still recommend check update of Intel Support page:
http://www.Intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect/wireless-displayUtility the Intel® driver update keeps your system up-to-date. It detects the drivers and software updates related to your computer, and then helps you install them quickly and easily.

HP L1906 monitor: HP_L1906 with Windows 10 display does not work
Under Win7 Pro, I used two monitors, a DELL and HP L1906 (my favorite). After the Win10 upgrade, the DELL works just fine. The HP is not displayed.
In the settings the LP is detected, but under the name generic and none of the parameters of work, nor can they be saved. I tried swapping the connections, thinking maybe Valentine's video, but always ended up with the monitor DELL works, not HP.
How can I make my HP L1906 monitor works with Windows 10?
(pro 64-bit)
Hello:
See if the vista driver works...
I compressed upwards and tied the monitor driver below.
Download and unzip the drivers in their folder. Don't do anything with the files in the folder.
Go to the Device Manager, expand the category of device monitors.
Click the generic monitor p & p. Click the driver tab. Click on set to update driver.
Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver folder, that you unzipped.
Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see if the pilot goes like this.
Then restart.

Display does not work on Satellite P500-1DZ
Hello
P500-1dz screen went black. No sign of anything whatsoever on the screen so haven't tried a new screen. Still no display.
Equip new inverter. Still no display. Replaced the Ribbon to the back of the monitor cable.
Still nothing.Hooked on the VGA port for external display. Works brilliantly so guess this is not not the graphics chip.
Upside down Fn + F5. The external display is turned off, but nothing on the screen of the laptop. Switched to an external display to view perfect on this one.Having installed the latest driver for the nVidia chip.
Still no display on laptop screen.Help please! Go gaga trying to find the problem.
Did I miss something?Hello
As I know the LCD module is connected to the card system (connector CN11) cable LCD/FL.
The jury of the inverter (entry) is also connected to the motherboard by a cable LCD/FL.
The fluorescent lamp is also connected to FL inverter card (output HV) cable HT.So I recommend the output and the input to the inverter Board.
Maybe you mixed the two connectors. -
Hi all
After you perform a clean installation of Windows Professional 8.1 on my Pavilion G6 1006sh I can't use my external Samsung monitor connected to the HDMI port.
The windows installation is well unrolled without all the problems of the operating system had builtin readers for all devices. So there is no unknown hardware in Device Manager there is no sound, wifi, LAN, etc. In regards to the video card, I see two different devices. There is a generic VGA in Windows and there is an AMD Radeon HD 7400 installed M. The AMD Catalyst software has been installed successfully. In the graphic properties of windows that I can choose from two different outputs video, one is the general Windows VGA is the Radeon. However, windows detects monitor connected only on VGA General (i.e. integrated laptop display) and nothing on the Radeon so I can't use my external monitor.
Of course, I tried to restart the laptop / monitor repeatedly, unplug / plug the HDMI cable but without success. When I plug the HDMI cable into the laptop the screen displays a message that it is connected, but there is no input signal. The HDMI port on monitor and works in the laptop I used the same setup with Windows 7 x 64 Professional without any problem. It is only the operating system that has changed.
I tried to remove the General VGA device to force using Radeon, but after restarting it that nothing posted on the screen, I saw nothing on built-in or external monitor so I had to restore a previously saved system configuration.
I tired to install the latest version of the graphics driver Radeon downloaded from the website of AMD, but crashed and restarted during the installation process of Windows.
Please help me with this question or make a statement that this version of Windows is not supported on this machine and I must therefore go back to the old system.
Configuration:
model: HP Pavilion G6 1006 SH
RAM: 2 x 4 GB
OS: Windows 8.1 Professional x 64 (HUN)
Drivers: installed and automatically updated by windows
Antivirus: Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1
Thank you

Hi there @nzole
Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! It's a good place to find the help you need, so many other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff.
I understand that you have installed Windows 8.1 on your system, but now you can not detect an external HDMI monitor. I'm happy to help you with this.
First of all, in response to your question, this model is not supported for windows 8.1. It was sold only in the versions that have been configured for Windows 7. That would mean there is no drivers especially customized by HP for this model for Windows 8.1. It is possible that you could find a suitable drive for a model that Windows 8.1 which can be strong support enough in terms of hardware, that his driver might work, but there is no guarantee.
Here is the support page for your model: HP Pavilion g6-1006sh Notebook PC
Products HP - what happens if I do not see my operating system?
Do you still have the recovery partitions, or you did a set of recovery discs, before installing Windows 8.1?
