Identityservicesd using all my cpu

I noticed that my MacBook battery has lost its full charge within a few hours and I went on the bottom of my mac, and it was burning. So after some googling I went to find out what is the problem. What I found, it's 97% of my cpu turns "identityservicesd". How can I lower than to find my battery life?

Please, back up all data before proceeding.

Right-click or Ctrl-click on the highlighted line and select

of the contextual menu.*, a file must open with a selected item. Move selected item to the trash. Log off or restart the computer, and empty the trash.

* If you do not see the item context menu copy the selected text in the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination. In the Finder, select

Problem: Computer works fine after reboot/coldboot but after entering Sleep Mode Performance is so slow reboot is required.

The Windows Task Manager that shows a file associated with the external hard drive (WDFME. (EXE) uses all the resources (100%) in the process.

Selection (WDFME. (EXE) under the process in Windows Task Manager and ending the process frees up resources and resources in use drops to

  • Lightroom 6.2.1 using all my CPU

Hello, I've recently upgraded to OS X 10.11 and the first Lightroom 6.2 seemed to work Ok. It took a little bit at the start, but I don't know if it's because of my hard drive 5400 RPM in my 21.5-inch iMac late 2012. Yesterday, when I tried to use Lightroom it took awhile to start and has been terribly slow. So slow that I couldn't use it. This morning I upgraded 6.2.1. Now it boots up faster, but it is still terribly slow. I checked my activity monitor and Lightroom uses 93% of my CPU in library mode and 123 mode % develop. I just checked my console application and have several incident reports and logs of yesterday's cpu usage.

I also see a report of diagnostic use cpu for today. I can copy and publish this report, if necessary, or maybe someone could direct me how to send to Adobe. I use Lightroom for all my photo editing and now I'm dead in the water. I hope a fix comes soon.

Apple Mail only works when I restart in "safe" mode otherwise it becomes crazy, using all the CPU capacity without any correct output.  Seems to be connected with caches.  Any help?

Generally, if your Mac works correctly in Mode safe, but not normally, then you have a third-party software that runs at the start of the origin of the problem.

Safe mode disables most of the extensions of third-party startup and some Apple hardware, so it could be another problem for Apple, but I have never heard of your problem.

If I look at the properties of the de...\System32\wuaueng.dll I have the most recent version for XP (7.6.7600.256).

I know that the support for XP will end this year, but I want to Microsoft Update to work down there.

    Any help appreciated. Thank you

    You are welcome.

How about that.  Don't you love it when a plan comes together?  Windows updates only or material for pilots also and then update windows is good, but for a more broad ability of other applications Microsoft, then Microsoft Update and Office update is good for a shopping for updates of every Microsoft product you have.

You suppose wrongly, and I thought I answered this before.  Technically, you can re-enable the automatic updates but that will require you disabling updates every Monday just before black Tuesday and then manually download and install the cumulative security update newly released and restart before you activate the updates automatic (or notifications only) once more.  It is more reliable just disable automatic updates and do not have the headache.  Disable the horse of notification that is displayed in the status bar, and that you don't mind.

Please mark this thread as a response.  Thank you.

To not argue the point, but XP users required the kind of brilliant 'support' who gave XP since the time of the IE7 to IE8 'false upgrade' users XP need like a hole in the head.

  • Why Lightroom keeps using 30% of CPU power all the time?

    Hi all

    I'm relatively new to LIghtRoom.

I started working on a new series of photos (400 app.). I opened it to the new directory.

Since then, all the time I'm working on theses images Lightroom guard using about 30% of the time processor.

More all the time, I spent on these photos is estimated at over 30 hours, then (Yes, I'm slow and open each one in Photoshop while Lightroom is still open). So I guess that Lightroom has completed all rendering, they wish to do.

My question is why and what she maintains the calculation and is there a way to stop it?

    The system configuration:

Single core Intel Pentium 4 CPU, 3.6 GHz (Hyper Threading allowed)

    2 GB OF RAM

Graphics based NVidia 6600 (256 MB)

2.3 LightRoom and PhotoShop CS4 are open

Please help - the system is slow anyway. He can really use these additional CPU power.

    Utzly

Check your preferences and make sure that the option to write metadata are automatically disabled.

With your set to the top, I would not go PS and LR simultaneously for a long time.

Select all the photos and made them LR average Previews might help a bit. Make sure that the task is completed before doing anything else.

Activity Monitor to stop smoking allows, until I opened AM again, I opened all the time. Allows you to restart, but it happens again and again, especially running iTunes.

I recently installed a 1 TB OWC SSD and installed clean El Capitan with the Migration Wizard. I've never used my own Mac App. I read something about Nap App causes this problem.

    Any thoughts anyone?

Turn off the NAP. Most likely you don't need it.

Try each of them in order. A test to see if the computer works properly:

    1. Reset the PRAM
    2. Reset the controller (SMC) system management
    3. Start the computer in Safe Mode, and then restart normally. It's slower than a standard home.
    4. Repair the disk by booting to the HD recovery immediately after that the chime press the command and R keys until the Utility Menu appears. Choose disk utility and click on the continue button. Select the withdrawal (usually Macintosh HD) volume entry of the list to one side.  Click first aid button in the toolbar. Wait the fact button appear. Disk utility and return in the Utility Menu. Restart the computer from the Apple Menu.
    5. Reinstall OS X by booting from the Recovery HD using the command and R keys. When the Utility Menu appears, select reinstall OS X and then click on the continue button.
    6. Download and install the update of OS X El Capitan 10.11.5 Combo.

Normally, helpsvc.exe shouldn't use all CPU resources, if you use actually help and support and not much even in this case.  It is possible, however, that you have a malware application using the same name.

The correct helpsvc.exe must be placed in C:\Windows\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries.  The current version should be 5.1.2600.5997 and 727 KB in size.  If your helpsvc.exe is located in another directory or a different size, it is probably malware.  What is the real message of your Norton product?

There was a problem with helpsvc.exe exhausting the resources of the computer, but that the problem was supposed to have been corrected in Service Pack 2 (and you have sp3, correct?). http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/839017

If all else fails, you can disable using Windows:

    1. Start > run > services.msc > OK
    2. Scroll down to "Help and Support" and right-click on it and select Properties.
    3. Stop the service.
    4. Set the startup type to "Manual" (service starts when you click Help and Support) or 'off '.
    5. OK your way out.
