If I reinstall office 2010 after re installing my OS has to a different facility/computer?

Vista crashed on a computer I just bought second hand. I ended up reinstalling vista. I'm curious to know if the microsoft office program will identify it as a second installation of the computer? Leaving me with an installation only one.

Hello Fiona,

It shouldn't but it could depending on the circumstances-, but it's a use of fake (it shouldn't affect your remaining number of facilities and don't not what Microsoft is officially) and should easily be resolved (or prevented).  The best way to be sure, it is not and you always retain two facilities is to activation by phone manually and then it will be done correctly and your account will be fine.  Here's how: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950929.

I hope this helps.

Good luck!

If the system or Mode restore safe work not and you do not have a Microsoft Vista DVD, make a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

  • After office 2010 download and install, PC with xp crashed

I downloaded MS office pro plus 2010. He installed himself, and then he said that I needed a reboot to complete the installation. I answered Yes. After the restart, got the famous blue screen. I turned off the computer, wait about 20 seconds and then restarted, it as has been suggested on the blue screen. The computer is on, but nothing appeared on the monitor and the computer does not start. I can hear it running, but he did not sound at startup. Tried a couple of times with the same result. Is it possible that the installation of Office caused the problem or just a coincidence in time of another failure of a component? Any suggestions on how to fix? I am running Windows XP. Thanks for your suggestions.

  • Reinstall Office 2010 Preload

    Hello

I have a pavilion dm4-1160us and cleaned up some of the bloatware and accidentally deleted ms office 2010 which is preloaded. I went to the Recovery Manager to reinstall but it's is not on the list of preinstalled software.

    How can I reinstall it?

    Thank you and best regards

    Andres

Restore the system to a time before you uninstalled it, of course, that you also need to uninstall the bloatware again.

  • Microsoft Office 2010 does not install because of the BONE

When I tried to install Office 2010 trial on my computer, it said that it did not meet the requirements of the operating system. I am running Windows Vista (Service Pack 2).

However, looking at the system requirements, I see that only Windows Vista SP1 is supported. Is there a way around this problem?

It is, I'm getting a mac soon anyway. At least, I'll know the software that generates the company actually work and not forcing me to spend hours trying to figure how to do something as simple as installing it.

  • How can I reinstall Office 2010 edition of student came with my Dell laptop

After resetting my laptop, I lost all the applications that came with it. Including Office 2010 student edition. That's really all I need. Is it possible to get it back or I'm out of luck. Seems lame that I can't have the software I paid two when I bought the laptop.

Unfortunately no, unless you have the Microsoft product identification card there's no external record of Office 2010 key. Something Microsoft of summer setting with office 2016 as they do that you open an account online desktop with this version.

Description of the problem: same problem on the computer desktop and laptop at the same time began: cannot install Windows updates (has no status)

No hardware changes or software recently made to the system: I followed the usual procedure to install Windows updates.

    Method of connection: wireless

    Technical expertise: intermediate level

Performed troubleshooting: because the error # 80071 A 90 type indicated by the system, I followed the instructions of Windows Help and Support, for example to run Microsoft Fix it which did not work; a more advanced method has also been used, who recommended to start Windows Update in Mode safe, then open Windows Update and install the updates and then restart normally. At this point, the problem was that any stage of Windows Update was available.

    Hello amib004,

As much as I know, only Windows Update cannot be run in safe mode. That being said, I saw where install several updates may conflict with each other. Try to disable all updates installation and install the updates failed one at a time.

  • Reinstall Office Suite after the restore computer to factory settings

I had to restore my laptop to its factory settings because of a corrupted registry.  The operating system is Microsoft Vista Home Premium, and more desktop I want to reinstall is Office home and Student 2007.  I inserted the disc and rises the .exe file, but it will be only to configure the system.  The applications are not installed.  Or bring it to the top of the window with the license agreement, or a dialog box to enter my product key.  I tried to run the Setup for the individual applications (e.g., Word) files and I got an error.

Your machine initially has any Office Suite, perhaps a trial, pre-installed?  Is there something in the Control Panel / programs and features, which relates to the office?

When you insert your CD it offers it the window of Autorun with the option to 'Explore' the files on the CD?  If so do you see a Setup.exe in the first visible display of the CD Explorer window.  If so do you have a better result if you right click on a Setup.exe it and select the option "Run As Administrator"?

If you go to the computer mftr's site. and looking for drivers for your specific model computer, they will be good. If there is a choice (as it often is with Dell machines for example), if you happen to download the wrong driver he just would not install or wouldn't work. No grand. But given that your computer is running, open the Device Manager and write the names/models of your hardware first. Then you'll know if you have an Intel card or a wireless Dell (for example). If the update of drivers will solve your problems I can't say because obviously I can't see and test your computer for myself. But it should not damage the computer. If you're worried, take the machine to a competent local computer tech (not a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad of the place) and have them tested and secure it.
