  I want to try Adobe Illustrator, but the program is not listed in the download wizard. It is there any way how I can try it. In addition to hold get why there is no rattling manu, the wizard is very confusing and never starts the automatic download. A simple list of your products with a tick list would be far better, in my opinion. Sorry for my bad french, but which is a bit frustrating when you install and uninstall the wizard again and again and nothing is really happening.

• Pen tool problem with Adobe Illustrator CS4

  Recently, after many years, I finally gave up using AI 9 and started using AI CS4.

  However, I'm having a real problem and it's bugging me. When I start to use the feather on CS4, it gives me much too much information and disrupts my concentration. First of all, all these details in green pop up telling me that something is the path or anchor. Secondly, there is this awful gray box next to my pen saying things like "D: 62.54 points.

  Could someone please tell me how to disable all these appendages and I just get mmy pen rear base.

• Adobe Reader Version - is there a way to check what version is using the user?

  If I'm worried about which version of Adobe Reader, a user has then I know I can set up a saying of message box "you must be in XX version" or something like that.  Anyone know if there is a way to actually check the version that a user runs and put a message indicating it is obsolete and should be updated?

  I am a graphic designer and photographer. I have Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, Version 6 (Build 6002: Service Pack 2). I use Adobe Illustrator CS4 and Photoshop CS4 to edit my photos. Thumbnails look good, but when you open a file, the picture is really dark. I also have this problem with the windows image viewer. I downloaded FastStone Image viewer so I can see what I'm doing. I asked for direct aid, but they were of no use. They tried to download a different driver, without success. I'm the only one out there with this problem? Can someone tell me what is the problem?   My personal opinion on the subject as I use Photoshop a lot myself, to be able to use Photoshop or any other software design to its full potential, you will need a separate video card and not using the video card to integrate it.  Embed the video card is usually simple and have the basic features, options to work but not many advance options that use Photoshop and other graphic design software.
  With this in mind and consider how not expensive video card today, you can easily find the one that, around $ 50 and can do the job better than your integrated video card.  Not to mention it will release memory for your system to be tied up with integrated video cards.

• Defective feedback from Adobe Illustrator 1525nw Laserjet

  We currently have a 1525nw connected to a SBS of Win2003 Server and workstations with Windows XP 32 bit and Win7 64-bit. This printer is great apart from that we use the most for.

  We mainly work with Adobe Illustrator CS4. This printer is unable to print correctly from I (Adobe Illustrator). It sends fine print jobs, but it reacts to the vector graphics very oddly. If there is no solid form using all the space in our Council of art in artificial intelligence, the printer will compress the closest vector shapes to each other and feel the top of the page.   Another problem is that it is very strange for some of the forms and colors. See these example 2 photos http://i.imgur.com/l0kW1.jpg and http://i.imgur.com/5NB0k.jpg you can see the printer print boxes around the logo and the outside is printing with green but there is no border. It's a solid form, all have the same impression. Compare to the work on the screen.

  This was happening before that I just updated to the latest firmware and is still happening with the new firmware.

  Impression basically to HAVE this printer is not suitable.

• Issue of Adobe Illustrator Version of CC 17.1.0 paved digital (64-bit)

  For some time, I work with the English version of Adobe Illustrator CC on a Windows pc with a Dutch keyboard (layout U.S. international). Now, that's the problem I meet: when I previously (in Adobe Illustrator CS4 which is) drew a box with the tool (M) Rectangle, I could enter numbers using the numeric keypad. Entry 2.5 resulted in a box of two years and a half milimeters (wide angle). Recording 2.5 (via digital) in Illustrator CC results in a box of twenty-five milimeters (wide). In other words: the point is neglected. My guess is that this has to do with the fact that the point (2.5) must be a comma in Dutch. When I use the regular comma (QWERTY keyboard), it does not. Therefore, the language settings.

  No idea if it is possible to work around this problem, except change language Dutch to English (Windows)?

• Illustrator CS4 "Save as PDF" Glitch

  I use illustrator adobe CS4 on mac OS X 10.6.5 snow lepord

  Whenever I have a file I or any type of file and want to use the option "save under", when I select illustrator PDF completely freezes. I have to force quit and then restart to resume work.

  My work around was to save as a file, open the file in adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and "save under" PDF through this program. It works every time. But the option "save under" PDF in illustrator crashes whenever I use it.

  Does anyone else have this problem?

  What model Mac? How much RAM? How much free space on your drive to work?

  1. quit Illustrator.
  2. go to user/username/Library/Preferences/Adobe illustrator CS4 Settings and parameters, the entire record of the trash not only the contents of the folder...
  3. launch Illustrator. Illustrator creates a new preferences file.
