IMAQ-finding multiple centroids

Hello

I'm trying to find the center of gravity of two circular objects in a graph of intensity. My data type is floating point 64 x 64 pixels.   Recently, I found a VI of further discussion which discusses the same thing. I have some minor changes and try to get the location of the center of gravity (x, y). The VI is almost achieve what I'm looking: it can identify objects and its center of gravity. I was wondering if the VI should be able to display the center of gravity of each objects, but it didn't happen. What is missing here? If anyone can guide me to do this, I would be grateful.  I need to know the location (x, y) of each center of gravity. Here is the picture as an attachment to the VI.

Thank you.

Hi all

I finally found the solution! I used the local threshold IMAQ and circle find IMAQ for the locations of several detected circirls and his (x, y).  I also used the table to the cluster for the data in the table.

So first of all, I noticed that the KING produced by KING features seems to have an incompatibility with the entrance to find right IMAQ 3 edges:

In my code, I have the strange problem "IMAQ find right edges 3" is the production of edges that lie outside the limits by the wired KING specifided: "."

In this case, a return on investment, defined by a rectangle, I [476, 1559, 752, 1779], but the best line produced by VI shape is outside this rectangle (see ordered 1876).

    How is that possible?

I finally thought to it - it was my fault. I was updating the global rectangle in the KING entered correctly, but not the contours.

I fixed the wiring and now it works fine.

  • Error 1074395720 has occurred to IMAQ find circular Edge 3 IMAQ Vision: invalid KING.

    Hello

I am writing a program to adapt to a circle of an image (from the avi), but when running the IMAQ find circular edge v3.vi I get the error message:

"Error 1074395720 occurred at IMAQ find circular Edge 3.

    Possible reasons

    IMAQ Vision: Invalid KING. "

I use the vi KING of construct IMAQ to set the return on investment and I am sure that the KING output is in a format suitable for the discovery of the IMAQ circular edge v3 vi.

I joined my program (Labview 2011)

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you very much

    Hi Rory,

Welcome to the Forums of NOR.

«IMAQ find circular Edge 3' expects a return on investment for type 'Ring'.» There are a number of functions in labVIEW for the conversion of the type of return on investment as "IMAQ convert the KING to ring. However, as the circular edge VI find JUST does not ring but bounding box and other details as well, there is a strange solution to this problem.

Drop-down "IMAQ convert KING ring" and get the return on investment through. Drop-down and then "Convert ring to the KING" (Yes, really) and pass the output of who to "find the circular edge.

It is circular, strange workaround, but it seems to force the type of return on investment to go to the ring and so works.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you very much

You must change the order of the elements in your cluster constant that connects to IMAQ find Edge. How you would do this must click right on the border of the constant of cluster, and then click "reorder the Clusters in control... ». If you want to know what you need to order to, use another IMAQ find Edge, create a constant for entry Options and repeat the steps I mentioned to see how elements of the cluster were classified as a constant.

  • Find/multiple changes in one step?

    Hello

I have a series of find / change I have to do for all the chapters in a book. They'll even be each time and rather than all ten of them for each chapter, I wonder how I can it condense into a single process that I can run on each chapter, perhaps in a script. Any ideas?

I have a script a bit of experience, but not enough to answer myself yet. Is there another way to automate the steps? Or does anyone have a code base that I could work from?

I work in CS3 on Mac.

    Hello
You can use the script of this Peter Kahrel "Query string" (http://www.kahrel.plus.com/indesign/chain_queries.html), I think you can use it for CS3. Save your queries in Grep mode.

  • I can't find the multiple number of photos that I have scanned in XP.

Cannot find multiple photos that I have scanned in XP.  I can find those I scanned before changing my "Advanced" settings, but cannot locate a folder with them inside now.

    Hello

    ·        What software do you use to scan the images in the system?

    ·        What settings in advance you are referring to?

If you scan with another scanning program, the program will usually choose a location or folder in which to store your scanned files.

You can use Windows Search to locate the image file that is present on your system if you remember the name of the image file. I suggest you follow the steps mentioned in the article below.

  • CVI 2009 find command

Not sure if it is a bug or some new setting miss me him, but in the old version 'Search' allows to save the last used settings and 2009 does not seem to save.  I checked "several files...". "option, but it is not checked on the next use of the find command."

The behavior has changed a bit. There are now two separate keyboard shortcuts for 'Find' and 'find in files '. When you use Ctrl + F (the default shortcut for "Find") "multiple files...". "always will be unchecked. If use you Ctrl + Shift + F, several files will be checked and the settings should be preserved.

    Hope this clears up things.

  • What is the difference this 2 examples of photos? Use function IMAQ detect circles to detect the GREEN button.

    Hi all

Please refer to the attached 2 pictures, they are similar, just the size is defferent. (pass PNG, 5478 pass. PNG).

But now I try to use IMAQ detect circles to catch the GREEN button. For the PNG pass, it works very well, but for another example, it is still does not detect this button.

I also try to change the curve settings and note that entry, but still no. Another way, I also try to use function IMAQ find circles , but the result is worse that IMAQ detect circles, so give up.

The code is detect the circles.png, copy of block diagram.

So what is the root cause? Thanks for help.

    Hi colinzhang,

The extraction of curve so it uniform mode, you can get the result.

-Suggestion, if you want to use the entire image area as KING should get the size of the image, get the rectangle and convert it to the descriptor of KING. (I think this is unnecessary)

-Be careful with the extraction of the plane, u use default color which is the Red plan. In this example, it is fine. but make sure you know what aircraft you are extracting.

s ' Please find vi saved in the 2010 version.

  • find cirlces in image

LabVIEW has all the functions that can display an image and choose cirlces?

I have a JPG file that contains the following images:
The background is almost entirely white.

There are black spots (almost circular), about 4 per image.

Is there a function that can open a JPG file and find the circles? Or do I need some Toolkit OR?

The reason why I would need such a function would be to a geometry such as area, etc..

    Hello Cory,.

You will need the Vision Development Module to perform this image processing (http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/2881). One of the screws that comes with this software is 'IMAQ find circles' which would be able to detect circular blobs. You can download the software and evaluate the forr within 30 days if you wish.

    I hope this helps.

  • After having to reinstall XP, now have multiple copies on my machine

I suffered two catastrophic failures on my desktop running Windows XP with Service Pack 3 installed.  In each case, I was able to reload Windows from the CD and make appropriate updates and driver charging.  But whenever I reload XP I get another copy of Windows on drive C?  Now when I scan the C drive, I have a "Windows, host1 and Windows2!"  Is there a way to get rid of both of them because my office is quite old and limited it's hard drive capacity and each copy of Windows takes a lot of disk space and seem to be mostly from duplicate files?  Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

    Hi butch40,

    1. during the reinstallation of Windows XP on the computer have you provided the name of the installation folder?

    2. do you find several entries of Windows XP on the start menu screen?

Restart the computer and check if you find multiple entries of Windows XP in the boot menu, check also if you can start in each of them.

Check also if you find several Windows XP entries in the boot.ini file.

Try the following steps to view the Boot.ini file.

    (a) right click my computer and then click Properties.

    (b) on the Advanced tab, click settings under Startup and recovery.

    (c) under System startup, click Edit.

You can also try to remove the host1 and Windows2 folders by right-click on it and click on delete, check if it works.
