iMessage done bad things to your copied SQL

I work at a Mac store (since the beginning of the year), and we chat through iMessage.  Recently, a co-worker I glued some SQL code and asked about it.  Naturally I wanted to run it.  Each line of the SQL contained an error associated with it.  Here is an example of a part of the WHERE clause.

Error at startup to the line: 22 at the controls.

ATTRIBUTE_TYPE = "ENTITY_LEGAL_NAME."

Error report-

Unknown command

We followed down to the leading spaces iMessage was replaced by some non-printable characters.  Dough provisionally and re - copy of TextWrangler and preserved TextEdit strange characters - they had to be removed manually.  The internal spaces like those that surround the = were not affected.  A question other than OSX dilated uses the iMail app.  It replaces the quotes by quotes enough printing not working in sqldeveloper.

Paste the SQL in a vi session, and then use the od-x on the file revealed that a normal space is represented with a "20" spell (so two spaces are '2020') and the adjacent premises of iMessages are replaced by 'a0c2'.

This isn't a bug in sqldeveloper for Oracle to fix, but as a developer on a Mac (OSX Yosemite) is a situation that be aware.  It's a reminder that sqldeveloper does not live in vase closed and part of the ecosystem of programmers.  Having just to move from a world of Microsoft in the Apple world I am much more aware of the subtle and thought differences other programmers may find this information is useful, and it can save a few minutes here and there.

that happens on our indoor cat too, Kris rice-Oracle disks and I have the nuts
