implementation of the popup to help in an interactive report

The drop-down list of gear on an interactive research, has a help, once clicked on would bring a popup explaining icons looking for gear.
I created a button and trying to implement this support when the user clicks on it.
How would I go to do this?
Thank you.

Lloyd,

An interactive report is also known as a spreadsheet. Each interactive report region has a unique ID. This ID is required as a parameter in the URL to generate the help page.

Reflection, try the following which should not a point page:

javascript:html_PopUp('wwv_flow_utilities.show_ir_help?p_app_id=' + $x('pFlowId').value + '&p_worksheet_id=' + $x('apexir_WORKSHEET_ID').value + '&p_lang=en-us');

Kind regards

  • Using the page as a condition for interactive report item value

    Hello. I add a button named edit in one of the interactive report column. This button should be displayed under certain conditions. Conditions are 1) If the user is Mencis and 2) value of the page called P2_DUMMY is 2. The value of P2_DUMMY is to 2 when a button is clicked. I defined a dynamic action for this. Combine the predicates in the CASE expression by using an AND condition:

    case
      when    :app_user = 'Mencis'
          and :p10_dummy = 2
      then
        ''
    end

    Hardcode a condition like the :app_user = 'Mencis' is likely to prove problematic for all sorts of reasons, not least including the value of APP_USER is uppercase by default, unless otherwise during authentication.

    Note that the semicolon and extra double quotes in are not valid.

    Interactive report region that model is set to Model No.? If so, that means that is missing an ID attribute that is required to bind a dynamic action after refreshing the report. Use a region template that contains id="#REGION_STATIC_ID#" , as the region without buttons or title.

    The number of standard theme for the theme of blue light is 15. Have numbered it 100 would indicate that it has been customized, exported and re-imported. In an application updated through previous versions of APEX, it can actually be an older version of this theme earlier at APEX 4.x, when a number of models in legacy issues, missing this attribute altogether.

  • Use the filter in a creation of interactive reports

    Hello world

    We put in point 4.1 of the APEX.

    I have a page with interactive reporting. I have different columns.

    In the Source of the region, one of them:

    SELECT...
    …..
    DECODE (ACT. INACTIVE_INDICATOR, 1,' < img src = "& APP_RESOURCES_EXTERNES.themes/theme_13/check2.gif" > ',' ') inactive
    ….
    ….
    As we saw earlier, if our INACTIVE_INDICATOR is set to true (1) show us a sign of verification, otherwise nothing will be shown.

    But, when we do a filter on this column, the url is displayed. But it's not a pretty sight. Is it possible to display the control panel or something different?

    In general, is it possible to control the filter options?

    Thank you. Good bye.

    Your Interactive report MUST have a model region for dynamic Action at work; otherwise there is no region ID in the DOM.

    Hello Deepak,

    You mean apart using a smaller font size or a larger screen?
    You can think to combine / wrapping columns (so more data in a column).
    Or hide some less important data and show only on request.

  • The search for Clob columns in interactive report

    I use APEX 3.2 with 10g. I have an interactive report with a query that takes several recordings of 'comments' and the concatenates using a function that returns a Clob. In the report, there are several of these comments columns mixed with some small varchar2 columns.

    Using the search bar, if I type in a Word and click OK, it does not seek my Clob columns. On the other hand, I can use the drop-down list in the search bar to indicate I want to only search one of these Clob columns, then the research works.

    Is there a reason that my filters 'Text line contains' do not include my Clob columns? I have defined, as the "Standard report column" and they all "filter" checked as a permitted operation.

    Greg

    I found a work around for this problem. IR reports do not seem to automatically search for CLOB columns as a search ROWTEXT (unless you are specifically targeting this column). So, I wrapped the CLOB column with:

    DBMS_LOB.substr(clob_column_name,4000,1)

    This converts the CLOB Varchar2 column, which made the report «see» IR Of course, this only works if you want to search for the first 4000 bytes, but the data in my CLOB columns are never more than a few sentences long.

  • Implementation of the call home help

    Hello

    So I'm trying to set up notifications by e-mail to one of our UCS configurations and I run into some questions, or rather, I'm not sure what im up against.

    I would like to paint a picture and see if someone can help me understand what's wrong.

    I'm under the asumption that Call Home can be configured internally, without having to communicate with cisco, in order to receive email alerts whenever there are problems in the system. (the cisco assisted by an intelligent call home, that im not interested at the moment). Is it a correct assumption?

    Requirements for the establishment of appeal asking conectivity ip between the interconects tissue and the smtp server. Currently the fabrics and the mail server are on different VLANS, however we have access lists to allow traffic through VLANs smtp. In addition, there are precedents of other servers on the same vlan as the tissues by communicating with the smtp server to send notifications. Thus, it is confirmed that such traffic flows between the two VLANs.

    So on until the configuration.

    On the general tab for call home my email is on the email field coordinated as well as in the From and reply to fields. The ip address of the smtp server and port 25 are also specified in the corresponding section.

    Tab theres 3 defautl profiles (CiscoTAC-a, full_txt, short_txt) plus a profile adutional created by me. Alerts in the additional profile groups are Cisco Tac, diagnosis and environment. No other options are available. It also has 'Warning' like format Txt Full level and my email as the recipient.

    In the policies tab, I activated aquipment degraded material unusable, hardware problem and link down.

    So, knowing these parameters should I notifications by mail electronic wexpect when a drive goes down or, if down, link when a host starts up again (I added that one, to test the reason)? Or have I missed something. Any other info I could provide to better understand my situation?

    Thanks in advance,

    Stephen,

    Yes, Call Home is just internal, while Smart Call Home is one that opens the case with TAC and you will pay for this feature.  If you are right with your first assumption.

    Regarding the link between tissues and the SMTP server, run a ping of the FIs and check connectivity, if this works, you should be fine. Orders must be:

    UCS # connection local-mgmt

    X.x.x.x ping B (local-Mgmt) # < if="" you="" do="" not="" specify="" the="" amount="" of="" pings="" to="" send="" with="" the="" "count",="" the="" ping="" will="" be="" an="" extended="" ping="" (="" equivalent="" to =""> t)

    Settings Call Home look quite good for me, but as far I know (IMHO) unusable discs are NOT reported by Call Home while a link down is definitely declared.

    Remember that policies must not only be created, they must be turned on too; and also do not forget that the system will only send classified messages according to the level that you specified (warning) in the profile you created.

    You can also use this document for troubleshooting more far away, like sending an "inventory of the system" and make sure that he knew.

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/products/ps10280/products_tech_note09186a0080bef123.shtml#Topic1< see="" "troubleshooting="">

    I hope this helps and if so, please note it.

  • Is - this too ambitious? Tabular no-show with interactive report in the subregion, showing the latest entries.

    Is this too much to expect in Apex 5.01?

    I have an application which records people entering an area.

    The idea is to scan badges and save time and the date of that entry.

    This is accomplished with a simple form based on the table of the newspaper.

    In a subregion of the form, I would have an interactive report that shows to all those who have entered sort by date and time entry descendant who visited today is obvious.

    I join the attendant to be able to use the interactive report to be able to select a particular line that could be recovered and placed in the main form to change (a bit like the model of interactive report with a link to a form where updates can be made.)

    I can create the report form and the subregion and that seems to work very well for journal entries, but I don't have a clue as to how I would go on the use of the report for access to update data in the form section.

    I would be eternally grateful if someone could point me in the right direction!

    Is this something that is hard to do in Apex?

    Not at all. Try to use the wizard to create a Page to create a form on a Table with report based on the table of the newspaper (choose Normal for page mode and Interactive for the implementation of the report). When finished, separate report and pages of form will have been generated. Go to the report page and copy the region interactive report on the page of the form. The report page can then be deleted if it is not required.

  • Serial number after the interactive report filtering

    Hello

    I have an interactive report. In the report, I have column named serial number which is generated using "row_number over (order by id). When I filter certain data of the serial number is the line number sequence, but I want to put the sequence based on number after filtering like when name rownum-100-samia, after the filter by samia serial number must be 1. Is this possible? I'm sorry if I can not write properly!

    Hello Samia

    Have you seen the next thread? Maybe it can help you work.

    Indicates the number of Clotilde in an interactive report

  • link to an interactive report AND apply the filter for 2 items.

    Hi can you help me out here on how to create a link to an interactive report AND apply the filter for 2 items.

    Here is my code

    I have a list of table, clicking the selected item should link to interactive report and create the filter. Below the code does not work for a filter. can you help me what to do with 2 filters.

    A filter = > works very well

    sys. HTP.p ("< ul class =" uChartList"> ');

    sys. HTP.p ("< class li =" uNumber uGrid col_2 col_sart"> ');

    sys. HTP.p ("< a href =" "|") sys. HTF.escape_sc ('f? p ='|: APP_ID |': 0 0 :'||: APP_SESSION |':00:P00_XXX:000, RIR:IREQ_XXX:Test :') |) » » >') ;

    sys. HTP.p ("< class =" uValue"> ' | l_tester |) ("< / big >");

    sys. HTP.p ("< small class =" uLabel"> < /small > Tester ');

    sys. HTP.p ("< /a > '");

    sys. HTP.p ("< /li >" ");

    Scenario 2:

    Two filters = > does not

    sys. HTP.p ("< ul class =" uChartList"> ');

    sys. HTP.p ("< class li =" uNumber uGrid col_2 col_sart"> ');

    sys. HTP.p ("< a href =" "|") sys. HTF.escape_sc ('f? p ='|: APP_ID |': 0 0 :'||: APP_SESSION |':00:P00_XXX:000, RIR:IREQ_XXX:Test:P00_YYY:001:IRC_YYY:test2 :') |) » » >') ;

    sys. HTP.p ("< class =" uValue"> ' | l_tester |) ("< / big >");

    sys. HTP.p ("< small class =" uLabel"> < /small > Tester ');

    sys. HTP.p ("< /a > '");

    sys. HTP.p ("< /li >" ");

    Thanks in advance

    actually the syntax wrong values in the syntax of the passes to several elements.

    is

    f? p = 6000:6004: & APP_SESSION. : NO:6003:MY_ITEM1, MY_ITEM2, MY_ITEM3:1234, 5678

    Use above scenario and verification.

    Go

  • How to limit the rows returned from the user role-based interactive reports

    Hello

    I'm a new Apex-PL/SQL Developer, looking for some recommendations on how to implement an interactive report to display different lines in your current application ROLE service.

    For example let's say you have an application for orders and 2 different roles: superuser and sales-rep

    Now, if super user connects to the application, it should be able to see all the rows in the orders table, however, if the user 'john' connects with the commercial list, he should see those orders assigned to him.

    I don't think I can use "dynamic" sql and build my where clause on the fly if I choose an interactive report so I was looking around and came across the concept of a common function but it seems that some other people do this with collections of the APEX. Is there anyone with a recommendation for one to use? A few books I've read recommend putting most of the logic that you can on your database (easier to maintain in the long term) that's why I thought about pipep functions using, but I thought I would check with the experts first.

    Thank you!

    If you are allowed to use an Enterprise Edition database and to apply these restrictions, through the entire application, or across multiple applications, then use of private virtual database (DPV), with the security attributes of PL/SQL Code to the initialization/cleanup APEX application to set and reset the settings in your application.

    Should you not use EE, then you can roll your own VPD use parameterized views.

    If the restriction is only required for this unique IR, then, simply use a union of two mutually exclusive predicates opportunities:

    select ...
    from orders su
    where :app_role = 'super-user'
    union all
    select ...
    from orders rep
    where :app_role = 'sales-rep'
    and rep.salesman = :app_user

    All of these approaches should outperform functions in pipeline, collections, or a user-defined function (which, in a predicate that is executed for each line, mudra stopped the large datasets because of context switching).
