• Import from camera to Lightroom Mobile

  I imported just a few pictures from my Sony a6000 Lightroom mobile over wifi. I was happy that I could do it, but then I found that I couldn't do things with files, even after I opened the in Lightroom desktop.   Is it possible that you deleted some of the pictures after they imported? If so, then Lightroom would be importing them again because they would register as new images.

• IMovie import from camera

  After using only imovie for a short time after the upgrade from imovie 11, it seems that new version is designed to upload directly into iPhoto automatically without the choice to go in imovie.  I don't understand the reasoning for this by Apple, but my problem comes from the fact that I seems also impossible to import the video from iPhoto, unless I have first export it to the desktop and THEN import it from there to an event file into iMovie.  I can't believe that there is not a better way to do this directly from the camera into iMovie, but as I haven't found yet, I would be grateful if someone could tell me a more convenient way to have all my initial imported videos under the same roof so to speak, where they will be used, instead of being directed directly into iPhoto I use El Capitan 10.11.6.

  I find this new version of iMovie a tad less intuitive that the previous and certainly more complicated versions, but understand that to the next step until the Final Cut, it can be a good training ground. I would appreciate a comment from someone who has had this experience.

  I want to import photos from my camera without HAVING to open each one, as we will!  I just imported 60 + shots and each closing photoshop sitting opened a tab for it.  I want to just import them and THEN open a little at a time.  How can I do this?

  I have several machines with lots of snapshots in them. I want to import these machines of vCenter Lab Manager. I can do it. but the problem is that I see not instant. I learned that the Lab Manager only allows a single snapshots.

  So is it possible to import machines of vCenter to take their shots.

  If you import a virtual machine as a 'model' inside Lab Manager.

  When you want to turn on a copy of this virtual machine:

  1 - Go to your workspace (like the hand)

  2 create a new configuration

  3 - Select this model (and other necessary)

  4 deploy the configuration

  Any number of users can do the same thing and have copies that do not affect each other.

  the whole process of 'cloning' is done in the background of Lab Manager and not really meant to be seen.

• From Aperture to Lightroom - my images in Aperture adjusted are imported as smal jpg files in a folder in Lightroom

  I've been using Aperture for many years. My photos are raw files and I adjusted the slot Aperture.

  When I moved from Aperture to Lightroom the adjusted images when moved to a separate folder as jpg files (the size is pretty smal comepared to raw)

  My question: do I have to set all my images once more to get a large enough file to print or are the some kind og shortened?

  Have you export images in Aperture, and then import them into Lightroom or you haven't imported the plugin integrated in Lightroom?

• I can't import my camera photos in lightroom.

  This has been fine until now, but this last time I got the following error message: some import operations were not made; The following files were not imported because they could not be read.  It lists then all the pictures I try to import.  I've never seen this message before and ask there is a problem with lightroom as photos can be imported from my camera to my computer with no problems.  Please can you explain / fix this?

  In the Lightroom Import window, make sure you select 'Images' or any specific location as destination on the upper right.

• Impossible to import my camera card jpg files directly into lightroom error 51

  Use to be able to run Lightroom when I loaded my camera in the player card, now I see photos in lightroom, but when I select Import I get a box with that: import results indicating the following files were not imported because they could not be read. (51) and then it will list all the jpg I want imported into LIghtroom. In this error message, I have a choice to save a txt file which seems strange. What is going on. Not sure if this started when I updated to windows 10, but I use LIghtroom 3 with windows 10.

  Currently, the workaround is to create a folder on the desktop and then have open lightroom this folder and it works.

  Could please check when you import images into Lightroom, the destination on the right is selected as the folder of Photos.

I want to download only the pictures at the end of my memory chip, essentially without having to wait a long time for the other 300 + pictures to import the big file for each and the jpg version, accompanying all over again because they are mostly high-quality... (I keep the actual chips with pictures on them as a backup (have not printed on most of the photos I had even for albums, etc. so I don't want to lose anything by deleting after you import each time, because they are all the memories with my husband and 2 children..))

  Something to try...

  Connect the device to your PC via a USB cable and turn
  on the camera... If open windows... Close them.

  According to... to... Start / my computer... the camera can be
  listed as a drive letter...

  If_yes_right click on the drive letter and select... Explorer or
  Open... This should display the directory of the memory card.
  You can copy and paste or drag and drop the files from there to a
  folder on your hard drive.

  (The same steps work if you have a media player...
  When you go to... Start / desktop media slots...
  Drive should be listed under... "Removable disk" with a drive
  letter.)

  Edition - shows only upward on one of the 2 computers I have / use.  Any movie file I import was that if camera, animation or imported from youtube.  All formats - slight differences in size, fonts and the location.

  Hi and thanks... Videos out of my camera I'm just drag and drop to the desktop.  They are avi - cam is a Canon about a year.  Others are .mov of 3D software I use - Cinema 4 d. I save animation software in the appropriate folder.   Youtube videos are made with YOutube Video Downloader and files are for most .flv but others come too.

  All of these files open when doubleclicked and the name of the file is very large print at the bottom of the screen may be 4 seconds then fades.  I've not edited somehow - they are the first "raw" video camera or animation software.

  It is not consistent, but especially it happens only on one machine - Win 7 Pro with all the updates.

  the file name. Check the properties/preferences of your
  Media player to see if you can change a setting.

  For example, VLC displays the name of the file... and you
  can go to... Tools / preferences / All / video...

  Scroll down to and uncheck 'Show Media title on Video'... / Save.

  The next time that VLC is started the video title should not be displayed.
