Import of Illustrator files to animate flash/cc

I'm involved creating a Tablet app using cc Animate/Flash. I will be creating graphics in Illustrator.

Could all sages members give me some info on:

What size I should create my graphics. Should I create just to the rectangular ratio of tablets.

Illustrator creates vectors so my graphics imported resizing (roughly) automatically through different screen sizes?

Animate/Flash application dimensions of the screen in pixels, inches, etc. - when a new project is opened. I'm not sure that the best sides are to start work - layout screens, adding interactive elements etc.

Thanks in advance

John

PEACE

is the only easy answer, use pixels for everything that will be displayed on an electronic screen.

because graphics vector scaling with perfect fidelity, the only thing on the size that counts is the aspect ratio.  in flash/animate, you have several options on how you step can be resized.  Since the help files:

EXACT_FIT : String = "exactFit".

[static] Specifies that the entire application be visible in the area specified without trying to preserve the original proportions.

NO_BORDER : String = "noBorder"

[static] Specifies complete application fill the specified area, without distortion but possibly with some cropping, while maintaining the proportions of origin of the request.

NO_SCALE : String = "noScale".

[static] Specifies that the size of the fixed application, so that it remains unchanged even if the size of the player window are changed.

SHOW_ALL : String = "showAll".

[static] Specifies that the entire application is visible in the area specified without distortion while maintaining the proportions of origin of the request.

  • Import native Illustrator files in Indesign with a scale factor applied

    Hi all

Everyone already knows what follows with the suite CS4:

A scale planned, applied to the content of the window containing a file imported from Illustrator (.ai) native.

The scale comes at a time where ever the .ai file is imported. Its usually a reduction to a very small percentage is therefore generally not visually noticeable.

My team tells me that it is a random event that happens quite often and is well known among them. I'm a bit wary as I do not

been able to reproduce the problem myself.

I did a little research on the 'Net' Bust did not encounter any related information.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

According to the crop options used during import (media, culture box, bounding box, etc.) and, possibly, the version of illustrator used originally to make the .eps and those used for conversion (there was a change in the way that art that falls outside the limits of the page is run, but I don't remember if it was Illy or ID , and if no editing at all has been made, the size of the image can change if the limit has changed.

Preference to preserve the dimensions to recreate a link can also be a factor.

  • Import Photoshop files (PSD) for Animate (Flash) via JSFL scripts

    Hello

I want to automate the workflow we have including import psd files in Animate (Flash)-> make a few changes on the content > export swf.  The last part (-> to make some changes on the content > export swf) is already automated, the only thing left is to import psd files. The problem is that every time you import a psd file, you are invited to a window where you must enter the preferences how you want to import a psd. Exactly, this window is the problem, we must always change preferences and confirm the changes by hand. Is it somehow possible to set preferences for psd import by jsfl script and avoid the window preferably?

    Thank you.

Yes, assign the boolean false dialogue show in the importFile method.

Delete the project file, and then import your Illustrator file again but this time make sure that the sequence box is empty.

  • Is it possible to scale of the Illustrator files in After Effects and maintain the quality of vector?

I imported an Illustrator file in my project After Effects and scaling of the file have 200%, but noticed it's pixelated.  Is there a way to keep the vector file based within After Effects.

Note: I tried to use the "create forms of vector layer" and all paths will be displayed, but the background and outline colors disappear?

    Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Of course: select rasterize the layer switch continuously.  Looks a bit Sun with the Sun said on this subject.  If your layer is truly vector - not only a bitmap passed Illustrator - the edges will look great.

  • Import from Illustrator to After Effects

    Hello

I can't import an Illustrator file into After Effects. The project of the Illustrator has seven layers. Import the file by selecting import into After Effects > name of file > import as composition by keeping the dimensions of the layer.

In the timeline panel, there are 7 Illustrator layers, however, all the things on the other layers seem to have moved to the top layer because it is the only layer that controls anything; opacity, position etc.

    Anyone know what is happening?

    See you soon

Your description sounds like not create you layers in Illustrator.  You need to do.

You probably just have a layer of 1 of your Illustrator document.  You create layers 2-7, moving things in each layer, and it is also good rename each layer with something that makes sense.  Hardcore artists Illustrator blow that right away.  In the case of a human body, they would be the eye right, where eye, head, torso, right arm, left arm, right foot, left foot.  Just double-click on the name of the current layer and re - nominate away.

  • Animate the import of video files CC?

When you try to import a mp4 video file to animate CC, the 'Import of video files' Option is gray / not active. What can I do?

    Hello

Importing video files H264 is supported only in the AS3 document. You may have created a document HTML5 Canvas in which the option is grayed out. Please try this out in the document of AS3. Please see https://helpx.adobe.com/flash/using/whats-new.html#ImportH264videoswithaudio for more details.

Cool! Good news. I was able to reproduce it and immediately knew why you experience this problem when it imported into Flash. The original image (which is optimal btw) is pretty small scale. So I have it furred about 3 x in the file, saved and then imported into Flash again. The lines look much much better. Flash is not only to make the curves as well when they are really small.

  • Attract importing Illustrator files in Adobe

    Hey all,.

I am a bit new for adobe draw and love it a lot. However, I can't find out how to import illustrations I created in I draw from Adobe. I'd like to change these files with my pen and give the drawing a more natural feel. Also, if I import an idea file in illustrator and make changes, those changes will appear in the draw?

    Thank you!

Currently, there is no workflow in support of .ai files layers in layers .draw.

the only way you can bring your illustrator file in a project of drawing lots is reference as a layer of bgd raster/photo.

But if you're already starting in Illustrator, you can easily go back to illustrator to draw.  Once your drawing is open, move the layers in your existing AI project.

regarding the file Adobe ideas (idea), all your layers meet discreetly as they were in the ideas.  The transparency of each layer is also honored in the transfer of ideas to draw, but there is no way to switch to illustrator between ideas in the draw... It's a direct hit.

Slightly off topic: you can imitate the draw brush styles in Illustrator using a mouse.  If you want to use a pen with your computer, Wacom works well with illustrator.  If you want to dig deeper, there are 3 large part plugins for AI such as AstuteGraphics
