  I have problems to import a batch of photos of a recent session. I am importing images, every time even on the same day, since a camera SD card on my hard drive using the option "copy as DNG.  My original files are Nikon raw (.) The NEF format) with sidecar JPG.  Among the 292 cases tried in importing, only 7 are converted. DNG format and do it in my catalog.  The remaining files have all been copied to my hard drive but are not converted to. DNG and do not appear in my catalog.  When I try to import and convert the remaining files that were copied on my drive hard but not converted to DNG or added to my catalog files is displayed with a check box but eventually fail to get changed or added to the catalog.

  I also tried to copy originals directly into a folder on my hard drive and making the Lightroom Import from there and get a similar result.

  I am under Lightroom CC on a Windows 10 PC.  Any idea what could be causing the problem?

  First of all why you are converting to DNG? LR CC read Nikon NEF files fine.

  Have you tried to copy the pictures to a folder on your disk and import only the naves with no conversion when importing?

  Start a new catalogue and test-only import NEF files with no conversion to DNG.

  If you are shooting RAW & JPEG, Photos pairs stack two photos of the couple as a photo and the JPEG file will show in the photos, unless you open the photo in EDIT mode and use the command "Image > use a RAW original title image.

  I converted the seveal .mov files to .wmv files using software.  But when I try to import videos in Windows Movie Maker, I get an error notice saying: the video is not 'indexed' and it will not be imported.   I can't find anything about it when I search Index under the help tab.  Any ideas what the problem may be?

  Basically a .wmv file that is not indexed can not fast forward, go back,.

  Maybe the .mov files were corrupt or conversion software you
  used could be faulty but apart from that... Here is some info on indexing
  a .wmv file. (if Windows Media File Editor, a component of Windows)
  Media Encoder cannot index the .wmv files... There is not much you can do)

  When you try to import the IOS c2960-lanbasek9 - tar.122 - 35.SE.tar in the repository of the Cisco Works LMS RME software I get the following error:

• Lightroom photo import problem

  I have a problem with importing photos from my Panasonic Lumix camera. This is a new problem, it worked fine until my last import successful in May.

  In may, I imported about 1200 high ground JPEG. No problems.

  Now, here's what I feel. When I try to import now, the area preview import watch boxes without pictures... each box has the number of the photo below as it should... However there are no images. I did the following to try to focus on the issue.

  1. I tried other memory cards using the same device... no luck, same problem.

  2 - I downloaded the images on my desk and put them in a folder and then tried to import them into Lightroom folder. The same problem.

  3 - I tried a memory card for a Canon G1x... everything works perfectly... Files JPEG and Raw files import all perfectly as it should and the preview images are there as it should.

  4. I tried to drag the folder of photos in IPhoto... perfect. no problems.

  It therefore seems to be a problem of camera... It's almost as if the camera is written in a language that Lightroom does not recognize these files.

  But everything was Ok in May when I imported before.

  The import doesn't work is not is a bug fixed in Lightroom 6.6.1 (so you do not have the current version). I recommend you do the update to 6.6.1 LR and see if the problem goes away. Keeping up-to-date in Lightroom

• Lightroom 6.6.1 import problem - not found photos

  I use Lightroom CC (6.6.1) and just started having a problem with the import of my camera these days.  When I connect the camera to my PC and you try to import the import panel says "No. Photos found.  This also happens with two different cameras, each with their own USB cables and different USB ports.  I can see the pictures using the file Explorer and copy it to my hard drive.  Last week the import on the cameras worked well.  I tried to reset Lightroom proferences but that did not help.  The PC is running Windows 10 and has been for the last year with no problems.

  You can try to "roll back" Lightroom 6.5.1 to see if that fixes the problem.

  I'm having a weird problem with CC LR 2015.6 in WIN 10 when I import files of my SD - the folder and the files are not displayed in place ion in LR

  You recently renamed the folder "PHOTOS" "Photos"? This looks like a fairly common problem that is caused by a change in capitalization somewhere along a path of file, which works well with Lightroom because it is sensitive to case and the file system of the operating system is not. So the OS will see 'PHOTOS' and 'Photos' in the same folder, but Lightroom will see them as different folders.

  Looking at the screenshots, it suggests that the two '2016-07-02' records are registered by Lightroom under the 'PHOTOS' folder (confirm cela by pointing the cursor on one of them and will prove to be the full path), while all the rest are recorded under 'Photos', but which now seems to be called 'PHOTOS' according to the screenshot of the file Explorer.

  Been having bad last week, or so, with importing photos into Lightroom. I have a LOT of pictures, about 10.5 thousand, and try to import in Lightroom are problems of variables. The two big questions are this:

  1. I store all my photos into folders to organize them. When downloading, all records imported photos are not just duplicated, but the photos in the files are duplicated twice. Any ideas there?

  2. I name all my files that I save the photos in order to keep track of them. When a file starts uploading in Lightroom, it removes the name of the folder, which is a huge problem.

  Another minor point, sometimes import gets stuck, but I tell myself it's just because of the amount of pictures that I'm importing, restarting fixes everything.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

• MS SQL Server 2008 DDL import problems

  I am trying to import DDL SQL Developer DM 4.0 from a backup MS SQL 2008 DDL.   It fails to recognize ONE of the instructions in the SQL file (quite legitimate).    I am clearly a bad thing, but I have no idea what!   Any help/advice gratefully received.

  OK, LR CC 2015.5.1 with Camera Raw 9.5.1 import stopped working yesterday, photos are visible using windows file Explorer, the import process is the camera but after 30 seconds displays "No. Photos found.", I also have a local installation of LR 5.7 64bits, there not images, so what is broken about CC and how to fix it...?
