  I have problems to import a batch of photos of a recent session. I am importing images, every time even on the same day, since a camera SD card on my hard drive using the option "copy as DNG.  My original files are Nikon raw (.) The NEF format) with sidecar JPG.  Among the 292 cases tried in importing, only 7 are converted. DNG format and do it in my catalog.  The remaining files have all been copied to my hard drive but are not converted to. DNG and do not appear in my catalog.  When I try to import and convert the remaining files that were copied on my drive hard but not converted to DNG or added to my catalog files is displayed with a check box but eventually fail to get changed or added to the catalog.

  I also tried to copy originals directly into a folder on my hard drive and making the Lightroom Import from there and get a similar result.

  I am under Lightroom CC on a Windows 10 PC.  Any idea what could be causing the problem?

  First of all why you are converting to DNG? LR CC read Nikon NEF files fine.

  Have you tried to copy the pictures to a folder on your disk and import only the naves with no conversion when importing?

  Start a new catalogue and test-only import NEF files with no conversion to DNG.

  Hi Monika,

  I use OS X El Captain 10.11.6 and Avenza Mapublisher Plug and I tried several methods (drag / drop, import in the menu).

  There is an error message, but I think that the problem solved itself. It works when I import the tif with Adobe Bridge in Illustrator.

  After I've done importing with Adobe Bridge, I can also use drag and drop in Illustrator.

  Don't ask me how, but not worked, the problem seems to be resolved ;-)

• Import problems w / 2015.2.1 updated to Lightroom CC

  Been using Lightroom successfully for about 18 months w / a Macbook Pro 8 G RAM OS OX 10.11. Recent updates to LR, namely 2015.2.1, has tapped previous example import flawless function:

  • When you open the import from SD camera card, if you view possible using Loupe View selections, the maximum that I can choose is 10-12 images, then MacBook slows to a crawl LR crashes and then firm without so much as a ticket yourself. Does not occur in the display of the grid.
  • As a discipline when I finish a day shooting, I take camera cards and immediately all select, copy and paste the images to an external drive using the Finder. When I try to import images from Lightroom tells me all images, that I try to select in the folder appropriate to this road have already been imported. I think that this extends to some parts of the direct import maps.

  This update "valorisation" is a royal pain in the neck which I have found no work autour over or through.

  Hey everyone so I just brought first Pro CC 2015.3 the day before, however I downloaded the free trial version then decided to buy it the next day. Recently, I shot an interview on my Canon Legria HFG25 and decided to choose the first as my editing program. But my main problem is that my images looks like thin raw on my computer. However, when I import the intro first quality looks bad?

  Can you please help me or suggest something?

  The 1st Image is how I see it in my folder so there is nothing wrong with my video card.

  2nd and 3rd image shows how I see in first.

  2nd is not in the first, it is exploring.

  3rd seems ok.

  Make sure that the parameters of the sequence is the sequence and playback is set to full (default 1/2)

• .Mp4 and .mts video files import problems

  I've updated Premiere Pro 2015.4 and now all .mp4 or .mts files import video shows only and not audio. It's as if there is no sound in the video. Nobody knows all the solutions to this problem?

• First 10.3 (2015.3) import begins encoder

  Does anyone else have this problem?  Does anyone have a solution?  When I import files in first (generally video files), these files are added to a queue in the encoder and encoding starts automatically.  There is no file look in encoding, and no setting/preference seems to be set for this action.  It's not a huge deal, but it's using the CPU resources and fill the readers until the encoder is stopped manually.  Any help would be appreciated to mucho.

  OK, LR CC 2015.5.1 with Camera Raw 9.5.1 import stopped working yesterday, photos are visible using windows file Explorer, the import process is the camera but after 30 seconds displays "No. Photos found.", I also have a local installation of LR 5.7 64bits, there not images, so what is broken about CC and how to fix it...?

• FrameMaker 2015 Embedded XLS problem when PDF

  Hi, I have a problem with frame 2015 with embedded XLS tables and output PDF.

  I work with a new client who was using v11 with simple structured and incorporated documents XLS tables.  We have now purchased both Framemaker 2015 so that I can work on their documents.

  The problem I have is when I open the V11 docs in 2015 TI loses the link to the source XLS.  Billboards OK but when attaching to open the data source I get:

  "Cannot locate the source of the link" even if the path appears correct.  At this point if I save to PDF output is OK.

  So I can re - insert the tables by using 'Edit - Paste Special - integrate Microsoft Office Excel 2003 worksheet' and it appears correctly on the screen.  However when I then save them in PDF format (as desired by the customer) the picture becomes a big black box.  If I print normally the output is OK its only saving in PDF format.

  I also tried to print to Adobe PDF with the same result, tables appear as black boxes.  Any ideas on a solution would be very appreciated!

  OLE has a history of being a bit dodgy with FM. Have you tried to import, reference, the Excel worksheet? FM hasExcel import filters and "by reference" made sure if the content is updated, then FM uses the most recent.

  In addition, when you create the PDF file, you use the option CMYK or RGB?

  I imported comes from images of CF (Mac, El Capitan) card.  The images seemed ok well only slightly dimmed too in the user interface, imported OK in my library, however, NO previews show - preview for totally BLACK.

  I use DW CC 2015 recently, and when I try to transfer my files autour, DW CC 2015 do not update internally. My picture above is the place where the problem illustrated.   It is quite unlikely that the books will continue to be a resource for Adobe Creative Cloud programs. The programs are just updated too quickly for authors, publishers and printing to homes.

  Since Dreamweaver, pressing F1 (help) and make sure that you are familiar with the info on Aodbe site. A large part of which will be obsolete, but if you encounter a problem where a menu item is missing or changed, you can usually reference the 'What's new' items to find a replacement.

  The most important thing to do to work with DW has become intimately familiar with HTML and CSS (to a lesser extent, javascript). Without a solid understanding of those, DW is a pretty steep learning curve.

  I have the 128 GB of Macbook Pro retina early 2015 model. I bought my macbook, the year last January 2015. I am just now having problem with my mac. When I'm trying to boot my laptop it shows the flashing question mark and it does not start after that. For a while it worked, but after the update the laptop is never again.

  After reading all the articles related to this issue and even after trying it the entire process for the departure of mac. I'm not able to start.

  We have no way of knowing exactly what you have tried that doesn't work unless you tell us. A flashing question mark boot means that your Mac is unable to locate a startup disk to boot from.

  If you haven't tried... start your Mac holding the key Option. That should launch the boot window manager have been, you can select the startup disk, and then click on restart.
