import the R12 database problem

Hello

I import a R12.1.3/11.2.0.3 database with nohup, for example:

impdp $nohup / parfile = impdev_oltp_springdb.txt &

I also use another window to control the log file.

I don't know what I've done (can hit the back button) now the screen looks like the following:

impdp $nohup / parfile = impdev_oltp_springdb.txt &

$nohup: output to 'nohup.out' adding

No more are written to the log file. Is the correct import?

$nohup: output to 'nohup.out' adding

This means that the output of the command goes in the output file. You should be good, just keep control the output file to confirm.

Thank you

Hussein

Check if Doc ID 809233.1 on support.oracle.com is useful, the problem seems to be related with the ODBC driver being used.

  • Cannot start the database the R12 DR Oracle EBS of RAC 10 g R2 using SRVCTL

    Hello

I've implemented Oracle 10g R2 RAC data DR Guard for main server Oracle 10 g R2 RAC for EBS R12 (12.0.4).
I followed Note + ' Business Continuity for Oracle Applications Release 12 on Release 10 gr 2 - Single Instance Database and RAC [452056.1 ID]. +.
After you configure DR DG, I added DR Database to the Configuration of the Cluster. But I'm not able to start the DR Database via SRVCTL. But able to start the DR Database through Sql * more. I have already mentioned Note: + troubleshooting when srvctl cannot start the RAC instance, but sqlplus can start [ID 844272.1] + and tried to solve the problem but without success.

, I opened SR but still, the problem is not resolved. Are there steps I need to do that is not mentioned in Note 452056.1.

    Rgds,
    Thiru

    Have you reviewed these docs?

CRS - 215 srvctl cannot start ASM, listener, %ORACLE_HOME%/bin/ resources RDBMS with error [740319.1 ID]
Could not start the Instance with Srvctl, no Info in the newspapers of Imon [ID 741212.1]

  • Import the content of Discoverer for R12.1.3

    Hello

We are integrating the discoverer 10.1.2 with R12.1.3.
The 11i Instance has also been integrated with discoverer 10.1.2.45.

    I am stuck at 6.8 # Point of Doc-ID 373634.1
Import Content Discoverer for E-Business Suite Release 12 adupdeul.sh mode = full

Our R12 database already has the EUL appeared in 11i.
Do I still need to import the EUL objects?
    Please specify.

    Kind regards
    VN

    Hello

Do I still need to import the EUL objects?

No, you don't need to. However, you must refresh the views of the company. Is there some new folders in version R12 you need then you will need to import some of the EUL R12, but I don't think much has changed.

  • Another application on the ebs r12 database

    Hello

I would like to know if I can create another user on the ebs r12 database.

    That's another application (not ebs).

    What are the risks?

Is there an id doc on this subject?

    Thank you.

It may not be available for that Oracle doc. But as a principle, why the unrelated database schema is created in the EBS database. This will add more load on the database of EBS, administrative effort. Let's say that your EBS database is down for maintenance, while the other application accessing this scheme does not require maintenance always, it will be down.

  • A full import by using datapump will overwrite the target database data dictionary?

    Hello

I have a 11G with 127 GB database. I did a full export using expdp as a user of the system. I'll import the created dump file (which is 33 GB) on the basis of data from 12 c target.

When I do the full import on the 12 c database data dictionary is updated with new data. But as is it already contained data dictionary? It will also change?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

In addition to the responses of the other comrades

To start, you need to know some basic things:

The dictionary database tables are owned by SYS and must of these tables is created when the database is created.

Thus, in the different versions of database Oracle there could be less or more data dictionary tables of different structure database,.

so if this SYSTEM base tables are exported and imported between different versions of oracle, could damage the features of database

because the tables do not correspond with the version of database.

    See the Ref:

SYS, owner of the data dictionary

Database Oracle SYS user is owner of all the base tables and a view of the data available to the user dictionary. No Oracle database user should never change (UPDATE, DELETE, or INSERT) ranks or schema objects contained in the SYS schema, because this activity can compromise the integrity of the data. Security administrator must keep strict control of this central account.

    Source: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28318/datadict.htm

Prosecutor, the utilities for export cannot export the dictionary SYS base tables and is marked

as a note in the documentation:

    Data Pump export Modes

    Note:

Several patterns of system cannot be exported because they are not user patterns; they contain metadata and data managed by Oracle. Examples of system schemas that are not exported MDSYS SYS and ORDSYS.

    Source: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e22490/dp_export.htm#SUTIL826

That's why import cannot modify/alter/drop/create dictionary database tables. If you can not export, so you can not import.

Import just to add new Non - SYS objects/data in the database, therefore new data are added to the dictionary base tables (as new users, new tables, code pl/sql etc).

I hope that this might answer your question.

    Kind regards

  • em12cr3 showing on the eve of the database problems

    Oracle Enterprise Manager 12.1.0.3

    Oracle RDBMS 11.2.0.4

I recently installed this very with a CMS and database repository on a server.

I added a cluster that has the database open as well as a database of pending which is in Mount that we do not use Active Data Guard.

To use EM with a vigil in the mount, the connection must be an account with SYSDBA.   On the eve of one indicates the Type

Cluster - physical Standby database.  It appears, however, with a Collection error metric for its database system, and I don't see why.

I moved add another cluster that also has opened with two STANDBYS in mount databases.

These guys, shows to monitor the credentials as dbsnmp and won't let me change it to SYS - this column is grayed out.

It did not work in 12.1.0.2 without problem, I'm just limited on the standby located in Mont - I agree with that.

I tried to drop and add because sometimes works with EM.

    I tried emcli, as follows:

    emcli get_targets | grep tecmop

    0 oracle_database tecmop_tecmop1

    0 oracle_database tecmop_tecmop2

    2 tecmop_sys of metric oracle_dbsys collective

    2 metric rac_database tecmop community

    $ emcli set_monitoring_credential-target_name = "tecmop'-'rac_database' = target_type - set_name ="DBCreds"- cred_type ="DBCreds"- attributes = 'DBUserName:sys; DBRole:sysdba; DBPassword:mypswd ".

Follow-up of the credential set successfully.

    This no longer works.

I opened a SR but have not had a response yet (it was a few hours).  Maybe someone here has an idea to try?

After all this...  Here is the ANSWER.

When standby is added to the EM, its composition is moved under the primary database system and database backup system is put in blackout.

The backup of database system is not necessary and must be deleted manually.  The GUI returns an error, then emcli:

    emcli delete_target-name = "trptwp_sys" - type = "oracle_dbsys".

should be used to remove it.

It is a "expected behavior", although I'm not sure that it should! Not me because this happened to 12.1.0.2.

In any case, I hope that manually delete the backup of database systems are in agreement and they are not necessary for what.

  • is there an Adobe very good tool to import the database of Apple Aperture?

    Hello

I'm looking for the best way to import Aperture any database an Apple project library (with different raws format - Canon 5 d Mark II and MDG-5 Olympus) with corrections applied or not to the work of the copies of the photos? And of course with the photos they were photographed? Opening creates a working copy with adjustments and "holds" the original photo. But I'm not sure that there are as many photos and copies. I know best are the original photos with settings settings? I'm not on that, but if someone has an answer, it is welcome!

And with an import, it is possible to maintain the "inverse" of corrections too? It is possible in the opening to do. I can change many settings and then cancel one or more of them. If I import the library of my opening with many projects, I wonder if this compatibility is possible?

    Best,

    Pascal (Paris)

You may want to read ready to spend the opening or iPhoto? Lightroom Queen

Of course, not import all that is in the opening, some concepts in Aperture simply exist not in Lightroom, and other features of Aperture are approximated by similar tools in Lightroom, rather than be an exact match.

I can change many settings and then cancel one or more of them. If I import the library of my opening with many projects, I wonder if this compatibility is possible?

This has nothing to do with the importation of Aperture. Yes, in Lightroom, if you set the exposure to 0.5, and then you want to cancel it, you just set the exposure back to zero.

  • Could not import the database using impdp via network_link

    Dear all,

I'm trying to import the database from the remote location to my local database dump after you have created the dblink to local db db remotely.

    On a remote server:

-Directory created and granted privileges. Name dir: PREMLIVE_EXPDP

    To the Local Server:

User name: expuser with database privileges full dba, imp and exp.

Name of the DB link: to_premiatest14

I faced an error of no valid directory when I run the command on the local server to import the schema of remote database below.

    C:\ > impdp expuser/expuser network_link = rΘpertoire to_premiatest14 = PREMLIVE_EXPDP remap_schema = PREMIATEST:PREMIATEST15 logfile = 2013-09 - 02_premiatest15.log

Connected to: Oracle Database 10 g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.5.0 - 64 bit

    Production

With partitioning, OLAP, Data Mining and Real Application Testing options

    ORA-39002: invalid operation

ORA-39070: unable to open the log file.

ORA-39087: directory PREMLIVE_EXPDP name is invalid

Help or advice would be really appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Syed

    Hi Syed,

I think you do the opposite on the directory stuff.

The directory parameter is just to hold the log file. There is no file dumpfile required in IMPDP via dblink operations it's all cross-network.

Basically, what is lacking is the DIRECTORY on the local server.

Don't forget not also create the associated tablespace and remap if necessary.

    Kind regards

    Rodrigo

Possibly, you have made changes to your 'by default develop settings'. The default WB in Lightroom should be "under the shot" to view this selection has recently imported a file raw in the develop Module, click history in the left panel, click on the first import. (see screen capture) and then see what settings have been applied to import for the white balance it must be 'in the know '.
