• Impossible to automatically mount network without password readers

  First of all, I use MacOS Sierra, but I don't think that there is a forum for this yet.

  I have a mini mac which auto powers walk every day and basically sits there backing up files from multiple sources.

  One thing I need to do is to automatically mount a few files on my NAS.

  So far I have tried:

  • Use the Finder to use go-> connect to server, entering the mount point (tried with and without identification information in the path), ensuring that, when the dialog box that appears, I select the option to save the credentials in my keychain, then take this shortcut on the desktop and dragging it in my list of connection
  • With the help of Automator
  • Using AppleScript
  • Ensuring that all applications can use these passwords in the keychain without asking confirmation

  All these work the drive is mounted, but regardless of whether the name of user and password in the connection string or not and ensure that registration is set to password in the keychain, each time, I get a pop up asking for the name of user and password. It's always busy and all I have to do is click on the connect button, but it does not help on an unattended computer restarts every day.

  I was unable to get Apple script, click on the button to connect.

  Someone else you have this problem, or even better a solution?

  Hi, I noticed recently that my computer (Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005) is unable to sleep automatically when it is connected to the internet with a cable modem. Change the settings for my current power mode and try a different feeding regime (diagrams of Windows XP default power and power management, I created) only solves the problem for 2 days at most. I also tried to change the settings for the other power plans mentioned, and yet once again, the problem was only set for two days at the most. I also tried turning off my computer, restarting my computer, recording Powercfg /Restore Default policies in Run, saving sfc/scannow in Run, and again, I got the same result. Reset and power cycling the modem cable is not helped either. To help you better understand the problem, for example, if I had the date set for the screensaver set to 1 minute, the time for the monitor to turn off set to 2 minutes and time for your computer set to 3 minutes, the screen saver activate after 1 minute, the monitor turns off after 2 minutes, but the computer would not sleep mode after 3 minutes , even after an hour or more. I tried to check the Task Manager, and I have not noticed any process that would be interrupting the day before. However, I noticed that when I turned on the monitor by moving the mouse, even when the computer was unable to sleep and unplugged the ethernet cable from the cable modem and waited, the computer has entered standby as it should have.  I tried to find a solution for more than a week, contributions for this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read my post. (Update: it seems that the problem is something else then my cable modem.)

  This behavior can occur because of possible conflicts of third-party software, which includes the third-party security software.

  You can also temporarily disable third-party security software and firewalls installed on the system and check the issue.

  If disabling the antivirus software solves the problem, you may need to configure the settings of the antivirus as a result program. Please contact the software vendor for assistance in this regard.

  Note: be sure to enable the security software on the computer after checking the issue.

  Note: When you perform a clean boot, you can activate services for the modem, network card and disable third-party services to check the issue.

  My HP Officejet 4630 print automatically on both sides very well. However, after I've deleted and reinstalled the device, I can't print both sides automatically. the printer give me only two options to print. I know if only print one or two faces manually which take longer and more complex.

  I tried reinstalling the device but it does not work

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

  I understand that you have lost the ability to automatically duplex printing with the Officejet 4630. Can you go to control panel > printers and devices and right click on the printer. Click Printing Preferences, and see if you can set the duplex option from there.

  Definition of duplex here will be a default for all programs. Let me know if you have that option here.

  There is a message of a package of policies is needed, after I clicked OK in the message, nothing happened. It's adobe X 10.0.1 in Win7

• Vista will not connect to WiFi automatically (but my iPhone works well!)

  After re-installing Vista window by the backup of my laptop LG drive, it is now impossible to automatically connect to the WiFi at home. Every time when I start the laptop (even of mode "sleep"), the network went & I have to choose WiFi home network once again, enter the golden key to restore the link.

  Once connected successfully, I have click the box "automatically connect to this network Bud future." It simply doesn't get it!

  I opened the network & don't Sharing Center--> WiFi Admin, there is no recorded inside the priority of connection WiFi network. However, I have my laptop connected to the WiFi at home, Office WiFi manually for time.

  Really hope someone can help out me!

  Windows can be disable your network adapter to save power. Disable the power saving option in the network adapter properties. To do this, try the following steps.
  1. click on start, type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.
  2. from the list of objects, expand network adapters.
  3. double-click on the sub element that means wireless network cards.
  4. click on the power management tab.
  5. clear all the options on the power management tab.
  6 apply the settings, and then restart the computer to check the difference.

So yes, I know that not only all of the brand, but most of the computers (PC & Notebook) will react this way to overheat. The problem is, I already look at the temperature of my CPU, and I know that the correct behavior is a system automatically extinguish itself to avoid damage caused by each time will overheat the scope of heat one * certain * level, which, in a system of this level is still manageable. But in this case, it happens randomly.

  I repeat once again, it happens * RANDOMLY *. Sorry to be a bit much, I want to just make sure I'm clear. I'm sure we all will really appreciate a solution or at least of any attempt to examine more in detail on this issue.

  It s not necessary to disassemble what whether to clean the fans and cooling grids, a jet of compressed air can be used.
  These aerosols can be bought from the other computer dealers.

  But of course, this procedure can be used only to remove dust and debris.
  If the laptop overheats, for different reasons, then a certified maintainer Toshiba should be contacted.

• Access/permissions of system32 folder

  A few programs, I tried installed have stopped due to a same 'mistake' - they cannot access c:/windows/System32 or a file in this folder.

  After a lot of research, I discovered that the record is marked "read only".

  I tried to change the permissions in the properties--> of nothing helps security section: when I click on apply - I get a message saying:

  "C:\windows\system32\0409---acces denied.

  I am the administrator.

  Myron: One or two were older... but I came across the same problem with others that I had to upgrade to the latest versions - even with the compatibility mode.

I use a suite of third-party security that I never liked WF... for some reason any when I installed it, it did not automatically extinguished WF.  Once I turned off WF, the program installed without a hitch.

  Ralph has opened a case with TAC and arrived at webex. It's just to let everyone know that we were able to solve the problem. Just to convey information. That's what we were doing on the webex session:

  Indeed, we found tha the microphones were shut off as soon as we have disconnected from the call. We checked the following things:

  xConfiguration conference 1 AutoAnswer Mute: Off
  

  xConfiguration MicUnmuteOnDisconnect Mode 1 Conference: on
  

  xConfiguration Provisioning Mode: TMS

  We turned off the MicUnmuteOnDisconnect first and the problem still persists. We have then canceled endpoint of the TMS suspecting that configuration could come from the TMS and checked by calling again. Hoewver, the microphones were always switch off to end the call.

  Finally, we checked the parameters of MuteOnInactiveVideo:

  xConfiguration Audio input Microphone 1 VideoAssociation MuteOnInactiveVideo: on
  

  xConfiguration Audio input Microphone 2 VideoAssociation MuteOnInactiveVideo: on

  We shot both of them off and the problem was solved. Ralph, please check this question as answered so that others can enjoy.

  Hi Rob,

  It is impossible to automatically remove contacts in Eloqua. You can add a bit of automation by adding a step in the program generator to add the contacts you want to remove a specific Contact Group (shared list). Call for example something like "To be deleted", and then manually that someone once a day or once a week (what frequency is necessary) export contacts, then re-upload as "Remove Contacts" as you mentioned - at least you meet everyone in a group that you deleted.

  I came across a problem. Right now I'm working with a huge amount of text where I need to capitalize whole words.
  Thus, for example, I have a phrase Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, adipiscing elit computer.
  I want to be able to change it to LOREM IPSUM dolor sit amet, adipiscing elit 195kgs. or LOREM IPSIM DOLOR sit amet, adipiscing elit 195kgs. etc. (words capitalized 1-5)

  I tried to use styles of character for that matter, but it takes a lot of time and a lot of manual work. Is there a faster way to do it?

  If the number of words is compatible, you can make using a nested character style in the paragraph style, but if it's sometimes a single word, sometimes more, so it is impossible to automate in a paragraph style without some other trigger to inidcate where all caps should be completed.

  In addition to the information requested, try the fix it tool from the link below and let us know the results of that.  First run it in normal mode and test.  If you still have a problem then run it in aggressive mode.
