Impossible to connect external devices using BT to my Satellite P500

I have a Toshiba Satellite P500 - 12N Win7 64 bit PC and recently I have a problem with Bluetooth.

When I try to connect my LG KM900 cell phone or my HP printer, the following message appears: "unable to detect the service" and the connection is not.
Both devices are still detected by the PC Bluetooth. Bluetooth worked successfully on both machines before this incident. Bluetooth on my PC version is: V7.00.08 (T).

To my knowledge, there is no change or update the Bluetooth on my PC software.
Any help would be welcome and thank you in advance

What you can do is to install the last stack of Portal Toshiba BT BT - http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/?page=download and also do not forget the device BT is successfully activated WLAN switch in position ONE and use the FN + F8 key combination to activate the BT module.

I have the same laptop and connected with my LG BL 40 New Chocolate.
For me the most important is Satellite P500 mobile phone photo transfer and it worked perfectly.

When I try to copy a file to an external device using Windows Explorer I get the following error message: "cannot copy.  The directory or file cannot be created. "I understand that I may have the physical limit of USB keys for the root directory.  How can I fix it?

    Hi GloriaZF,

What is the size of your external hard drive and what is the available free space? Open my computer-> right click on the external hard drive-> properties. You will not be able to copy more data if the disk is full, or who have less space compared to the size of the file you are trying to copy.

You need to remove the order data to make the space more. Deleted data from the device USB will be permanently deleted and will not be stored in your Inbox, so take care while eliminating unnecessary data.

    I hope this helps.

  • Impossible to connect incompatible devices. Please update all obsolete devices

I recently got the trio kit with two DM100 and the wireless controller.

Linksys Easy Link Advisor (LELA) does not install the controller, but it could be manually installed with most of the features.  (under windows xp 64)

For the moment, I get the error "failed to connect incompatible devices. Please update all outdated devices' when I try to link my areas named player1 and Player2 for mode of the game.  When you view the details they show versions of different firmware (1.7.3 and 1.23.31).  I tried to update, but they appear as completely redrawn in LELA.

How can I force an update of the firmware? I did a search, and the help file has been of no use. There is also no download available.

For the next gen of linksys acoustic equipment, how about a webconfig/telnet standard where I can set a static IP for the wired connections and wireless?  Finally, I hope to launch wireshark and see how it works, because the system is cumbersome in its current state.

Basically, leave it turned on, connected to the internet over the weekend.

    Another user also mentioned:
You can force the update to occur by using the Media Center software.
    1 open media center software
    2. the mouse on the window of the player DMP-100 and made right click for the menu
3 select all to see the current version of the software and the option to update.

I did, and it updated... eventually.  Took a day to the next (> 3 hours), and there was no feedback / recommended user that the command has been received/treaties/completed.

  • How to connect a device to capture video for Satellite M30X 127

I'm going round in circles trying to find a video capture device that will work with a laptop computer and would be grateful for advice. For example, I am now looking to the ' Canopus ADVC-110', although still looking autour (but not Pinnacle, which seem to have a bad reputation for the elements of capture).

    Problems include:

    1. the main problem is - many video capture devices require a "line-in" for PC for audio transfer of good quality. This laptop is not a line in, only headphones and mike catches. In addition, I also tried a few RCA pins into the 3.5 mm headset jack, and they were too small. How to solve the problem of getting audio from the VCR to my PC?

    2. the ADVC-110 connects to the PC via Firewire (and S-video), but is a type of SIX pins. M30X is a FOUR pin type. There are adapters available?

    3. Some capture programs seem to require a huge capacity of RAM. A laptop will be adapted to do the job? (I just want to capture old VCR to PC vhs tapes, and then burn it to DVD with Nero 7 or similar).

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

You are right! You must use an external device for the transmission of signals to your laptop. I put t know where you have this info but I have good experiences with Pinnacle product. I used the USB data transfer.

"Canopus ADVC-110 is not known to me, but I put t see why this shouldn't work well." Use made software for video capture and there should not be any problem.

The only thing is that, after registration of video equipment together must be prepared to burn and the unit need a lot of power to do this well und fast. When you buy it and to use on the way I recommend to extend the RAM to 1 GB.

Compatible memory modules for your Satellite M30x are:
    PC2700 512 MB (PA3312U - 1 M 51)
    1024MO PC2700 (PA3313U-1M1G)

Can I attach the keyboard that I use with my desktop computer (that is, it has a cord that plugs into the back of the desktop with a rounded 'jack' which seems to have 6-pin) to my laptop?  If I can't connect directly, is there a "interface cable" or fitting any that can be plugged to the computer laptop and who will also accept taken the keyboard?  Do I have to have a wireless keyboard?

    jamesthompson

    Hello;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

Use the connector that you talk about being called a PS/2 connector - and they have been used for keyboards and mice.  The keyboard has a violet; the mouse had the green light.

And Yes, you can buy an adapter such as the ps/2 keyboard connector plugs into that, and the adapter plugs into a USB port on the laptop.

  • an alarm can be set to control an external device using the digital output?

My employer is considering buying a 6210 DAQ and SignalExpress (we currently use a branded DATAQ device).

Looks like I can use the alarm function SignalExpress to define a logic high or low line, controlling a SSR to stop a pump (a non-critical application).

Can I use SignalExpress in this way?

I know LabView can do, but there is no way that the company appears for him.

    Thank you.

Hi Jack, this is Paul with Applications Engineering at National Instruments.

SignalExpress supports the functionality you want.

«Once you have configured your signal to acquire you can go to "Save Options" > "Alarms" and then set the alarm conditions, and then choose your Action to alarm as «Defining the digital line»»

I've attached a screenshot of the example of this configuration.

Note here that I put it down when the alarm turned on.  You there are other options, including a rocker.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

  • How can I control external devices using a stand-alone touchscreen with a LabVIEW app

For my senior project my group design and created a vehicle for extended range hybrid with 90 Li + battery which is charged by a 15 kW generator and/or who is also charged by a 5 kW fuel cell. Currently, our system is able to measure the tension on batteries and display them on a laptop via LabVIEW. To process these data, we use a cRIO FPGA. What we would like to do now, is having a touch screen for the pilot to choose which loads of source of battery power so that monitor a pressure reading from the fuel tank.

What kind of touch screens to LabVIEW to be downloaded on and used for controls?

A cRIO has the necessary capacity to supply such a screen and handle the transfer of the data from the sensor fuel and relay (for turning on and off will deepen)?

Do I need an additional license to create stand-alone applications and how I would go about creating a stand-alone application?

Sorry for the question as much. Any help with the answer. Thank you!

This looks like a very interesting project.  If you are interested, National Instruments organizes an contest of Design student where you can win cash or a trip to Austin for NIWeek.

NEITHER sells computers touch screen that can be used to control LabVIEW applications.  You can find more information here: HMIS and industrial touch panels and here: LabVIEW Real-time and Touch Panel Deployment and replication resources. Our computers 6-inch touchscreen , run Windows CE, programming on them is a little different from the programming on a full Windows operating system.  You can find useful getting started with LabVIEW Touch Panel Module .

You can use third-party with the LabVIEW Touch Panel Module devices, although it takes a deployment license for it.  More information can be found in the getting started guide.

If you were able to send the information of cRIO on a network (which according to your description, seems unlikely), you can use a smartphone to control your application.  More information on our community of Smartphone group.

If you use the 6-inch touchscreen panels, they need 18 to 32 VDC (the fuse becomes an open circuit if the input level exceeds 33 VDC).  The transfer of data from the switching relay can be monitored and changed with the touch screen.

If you have traveled the road of the touch panel, you need to purchase the LabVIEW Touch Panel Module and a touchscreen.  Touchscreens OR have a touch panel deployment license.  Guides step by step to create the stand-alone application are in the getting started with LabVIEW Touch Panel Module .

  • An external drive using DVD seems impossible with NB100 Win XP

    Hallo,

I work with my NB100 half a year.
Now, I want to connect an external CD/DVD drive to I.

The first hard drive I bought, was bad luck. Often I had to reboot my system several times until it was found, but it worked. Now, I have given this drive and tried another.
Often a held message ' berspannung a USB - Hub ", (not now how to translate correct - but this means that the power required is for many).

So I got a USB Hub with it's own power suply. Now it works sometimes, but as imidiately is calld a "unknown device", and so it does not work until I have restart the system. With a little luck it works for a few minutes until it "disappears" again.

I'm unhappy, or is there a mistake, that I have now?

    Hello

The notebooks USB ports provide a standard power supply which is 500mA.
It is a standard, and usually all USB external devices it should support as well
But these needs of external devices, more power and it could happen sometimes that a device does not work correctly

I have no idea of what device you are using, but I recommend using the one recommended and supported by Toshiba
Usually, you should be able to buy this ODD to a Toshiba authorized service partner in your country

However it s advisable to change some settings in the Manager of devices that are associated with the USB ports.
You should go to-> hub properties Device Manager USB root-> (last tab) power management and needs to check if this option is not selected.

There is probably a combination of keys specific to your model that enables / disables the VGA port on and outside.  Look in high ranking a key with a marking saucy that some how is supposed to look like a monitor.
