  My computer is not compatible with flash player 11 but cannot get 10.3 to work either. It load to half way and says error and now I can not even find the right item to download. They are all debugs etc. that I see.

  In my programs, I have Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X installed, but I think it's only a part of what I need... I can't find what I need on the Web site. I come back to, "more up-to-date version", that I can't use.

  ActiveX for Internet Explorer, if you do not use that is, uninstall ActiveX Flash Player.

• Impossible to get the USB flash drive to work

  I have a new Satellite L500 with Windows 7 and it will not recognize/install the USB flash drives. A msg comes up saying "software device driver has been properly installed. I tried several flash drives - they are OK & work on other machines - including an another Toshiba running Windows 7.

  Other devices work in the USB ports, so the ports are OK.
  Windows cannot resolve the problem, I have checked all USB drivers are updated in Device Manager & made a system of analysis of file without success.
  The Bank recommended a reload & restore factory default - other options?

  It's old model of laptop, and all pilots must work. I'm sure you make a mistake. On this old notebook, you must install Windows XP Home SP1 edition and after doing this install all patches software, driver chipset, driver and driver sound to the less rated. The sound should work fine.

• Impossible to get updates of windows install on Vista Home Premium.

  Asked me to look at laptop Vista Home Premium SP2 a parent.

  On the control that I found that mid-November he did not updated either and any attempt to kick start this fails. I spent 2 nights and good Googling to get this fixed number, but now I'm stuck.

  The machine seems to be in a bit of a cycle, i.e. that force it to check the updates, it does, but then wants to update the agent on the machine. WU closes and not re - opens.
  Re-opening WU shows that this update failed and I got several WU error codes all different. Currently I have the error code is: 8024001

  So far, I have (in no particular order):
  Tried to re - install manually the WU agent, the normally and aggressively - these two don't
  Install updates via Autopatcher it also fails
  Run CheckSUR.exe, which ends, but solves nothing
  WMIdiag na go out with something useful
  Disabled the AV (Sophos) and do the updates - still fails
  Did a reboot selective via MSCONFIG - always fails when you try
  WU arrested and removed "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution" - still does not work.
  Has attempted to re - apply SP2 - will not be re - apply!

  Then, someone at - it ideas?

• Impossible to get VM Tools to install

  I mount the image converted from my PC under XP SP3.  I can't get VM tools of load/install.  I tried several different things based on info in the comments.  It has not installed with Fusion2.0 so I upgraded to 2.0.2 and it still does not work.  I watch the VM menu and it said 'Cancel VM tools install.  I restart the vm machine and still no luck.  I don't want to turn on and have to start all over again.  My XP is a retail purchased the upgrade to Win98 (OEM).  I have a program that I need to run on the PC, but do not want to go to the PC to run it.  Any ideas?

  The menu item install VMware Tools to connect the image appropriate to the guest. If you have autorun disabled (safer), you must run D:\setup.exe.

• Impossible to get any OS to install PowerEdge 1750 Server

  I'm having some trouble with that and it makes me nuts. It's the 1st Rackmount Dell I worked on. Other then that I was working on a tower. But the part that I did not do anything with the SCSI hard drives is.

  So maybe someone here can help me. I got a Dell PowerEdge 1750, 2 Maxtor 36 GB SCSI disks in there. The server was using RAID mirror the primary drive before being erased and replaced. So now, the server must be configured with Linux and it does not matter if drivers are reflected in the RAID at all.

  So I tried to install Ubuntu server OS and he repeated to me that it cannot find the drivers for the drives. I tried a few drivers here at DELL who have been to Red Hat and it did not work.

  Then, I tried a copy of Red Hat Linux 8.0 and had the same problem that Ubuntu has given me.

  Then laughing, I tried a copy of Windows XP Home Edition who was sitting by a former Workstation. Same problem, Windows could not find the hard drives. I have download the drivers PERC 4/Di windows server 2000 and 2003 (x 84). Tried loading to see if pilots would allow me to install the OS or not. Never worked.

  Finally try, I popped a copy of Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition in and he had the same problem as XP, so I pop the drivers PERC 4/Di and selected the driver for Windows Server 2003 and it has yet to find the hard drives.

  What I am doing wrong?

  I don't know if this noraml or not, I think that it funny that he finds the 0 logical drives, but when you go into the configuration both appear in there.

  PERC does not support non - RAID JBOD, so if you want mirrored or not, you must configure the drives in the PERC BIOS (CTRL-M)... or put it turns off and only use the system SCSI controller.

  If you want to use as separate readers readers / person, you must configure each disk in a single drive RAID 0.

  If you want to disable RAID and used in SCSI mode only, so you need to start on the configuration of the BIOS (F2), embedded devices, and Embedded RAID SCSI value active.

  The fact that the POST said 0 logical drives found indicates that the disks are not configured - don't forget, readers must be configured in a sort of table before they can be used by the operating system.  So it must show at least a logical drive before installation can never be successful.

  Once the RAID is set up, you will need to worry about drivers.

• Impossible to get CC Office to install

  This all started when I tried to update the necessary until my CC already installed office. I hit the update and it simply never exceeded 2%. I did some searching through the forums and decided to uninstall all the CC's of things on my computer and do a fresh install. Now I am trying to install the CC desktop application and it is hampering about 1/4 on the way through and does nothing. No errors. Not nothing. He's here. If I try to cancel the installation it ask me "if I am sure" and when I say yes, it never goes away.

  I don't know what to do at this point. Please help I need to work on projects.

  OK so I've corrected this problem and how I fixed it is not in the forums that I know. I can't guarantee this is what fixed the issue but I was tired ALL forums and the chat suggested Adobe rep and it was the only thing that worked. Just in case anyone else has this problem, here is how I fixed it.

  I got to talk to someone from Adobe cat and they had me try several solutions, I had already tried. I tried everything at this point. If the rep has ended up giving me a link direct to Adobe Application Manager and said who would fix it. They (type of) sounded confident. The problem is that I had at the end of my conversation with him (or her) in order to install this hotfix. Then I restarted, double click on install and... same question. Hampers is to 'download' and leaves me not force quit. I could not even so he can force leave via activity monitor. Needless to say I was back to square one without answers. Then I noticed that I could not connect to the App Store. Same question King... to hinder, rinse and repeat. These issues could be related? Perhaps? I'll try anything at this point. So I started looking in the fixes for when you cannot sign "in the App Store" and came across this link. OS x: "Unable to connect" or "unable to connect to the App Store. An internet connection is required"- Apple Support I went through the list and nothing worked. That is until I have got down to "invalid or incorrect certificates. What it means. Then I dropped both of these cache files in the trash (as stated in), restarted my computer and boom goes the dynamite! Worked like a charm.

  I had CC upward and the installation of Photoshop in a few minutes. Still, I don't think it's common, so I wanted to help out if anyone has any questions.

  I solved this problem by uninstalling Adobe Flash Player 11 and install Adobe Flash Player 10.3. However, now my IE browser again wants me to install Adobe Flash Player 11. Although I do not often use my IE browser, I DON'T have to use sometimes. Is there a Firefox 15.0 update to fix this problem?

  First of all, the Flash of the IE is totally different than the flash used in Firefox. You can update one without affecting the other.

  Now, there is a problem right now with Flash 11.3 and 11.4 in Firefox. Downgraded to 10.3 is an acceptable solution for the moment. Adobe publishes the updates (slowly) that solve the problems, but it is not a matter of time before they are all fixed.

• Watch Flash install drive upward

  It was late... I accidentally installed the latest version of Flash Player for mac on my pc :/ So, flash player does not have to download that I need. I tried to install the windows version, but it says I already have the latest version. I tried to uninstall the mac version, but it is not possible to uninstall. I tried the system restore, but my pc ran into problems. I undid the system restore, but now I'm back where I was. I need the windows version of flash player not the mac. Any suggestions?

  The Mac version wouldn't install on Windows, if something happens.  Most applications that use Flash Player do by incorporating an Internet Explorer window in the program.  If you have Flash installed in another browser, that wouldn't help.  Using IE, go to our download page: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer and launch the installation.

  If you are on Windows 8 and you use older applications, it can no longer works.  Flash Player is built directly in Internet Explorer on Windows 8 and higher, but the application expects things like the way in which they were on Windows 7 and below.  There is not really a way to get around that.
