Hello

·        Since when are you facing this problem?

·        Remember to make changes to the system?

·        Who solve this are you referring to?

·        What is the exact error code that you see in Device Manager?

I suggest you return the item mentioned below.

CD/DVD drive does not appear in Windows Vista, or you receive this error during the installation of Windows Vista after booting from the DVD (AHCI)

I suggest to uninstall the drivers that are present in the Device Manager, then restart the system and then let Windows install the drivers by default and check whether the problem is resolved.

a. click on Start menu and click Run.

b. type devmgmt.msc in the run box, and then press ENTER.

c. click the CD/DVD drive in order to develop it.

d. right-click on the driver is installed on the system and uninstall it.

e. restart the system and let Windows install the drivers by default on the system.

Thanks and regards.
