Impossible to rip a CD or create Playlists

I am running Windows 7 and you try to transfer CDs for my smartphone. However, as soon as the CD is inserted into the computer and the Tracklisting appears I get the following message - "Windows Media Player cannot find the file. If you try to read, burn or sync an item that is in your library, the element can point to a file that has been moved, renamed, or deleted. »

Similarly, if I try to create a Playlist I get the following message - "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem during the creation or recording of the reading list."

So now Media Player is useless to me because he doesn't want to do anything. I checked and I AM running the latest version of Media Player

Does anyone have any suggestions

  • ITunes, create playlists in doubles when syncing with iPod

iTunes has started to create playlists duplicates when I sync with my iPod Touch 5th generation and does not sync songs to the iPod.

What can I do on this issue. I tried to reset the iPod, but this does not seem to make a difference. I'm absolutely sick of remove duplicate playlists.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Thank you

    Vivien

The following steps should solve the problems around the synchronization, assuming that all the content you want in your library.

(If it isn't see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device)

    1. Backup device.
    2. Restoration as a new device.
    3. Restore the backup that you made earlier.

NB. A feature introduced with iOS 9 called thinning or slicing app app allows each device to download just the code and resources required by this device, resulting in smaller downloads and a better use of the storage on the device. Therefore the device is no longer the universal version of the application that can be installed on any device to transfer applications is no longer supported. I hope that Apple will bring some changes to how it works, but in the meantime, you can download past purchases from iTunes or activate the automatic shopping app downloads to ensure that iTunes has always the apps you want on your device. As long as you make sure that all of the apps are present and updates in iTunes before you attempt a restore there should be no loss of data. I cannot confirm, but it seems a way to recent update all data are restored and apps that are not in the library are waiting to download from the iTunes Store over Wi - Fi, in a similar way to the restoration of the iCloud way works.

  • Create playlists of music already on the player in MSC mode

Let me start by saying to pretend I'm disabled mentally. I've never used a sync button in my life has always been Sansa and used to use MTP mode, right click in Windows, create playlists of pla and get exactly what I wanted. Now I have a zip clip and based on other issues, has decided to switch mode MSC that no longer allows me to right click to create files of pla. So I have a clip zip with various structured files that I leave on the random mode. Everything is good.  I want to create some playlists that put some albums in the order of the pieces. There are several reasons I want to do what some of the music lies in different folders.

So the question is how to do this? Yet once again, I have synced never anything in my life. I opened the windows, created a playlist by dragging the songs on my player and sync says, but who seems to want to copy all the music in the folder (it is are not enough space).

All I want to do is create a playlist based on songs that I already have in my records player void, not copy the music to the player. I don't really know WMP interface since everything I've ever done with, it's hitting the room.  Can someone tell me if I can do this and if so, how, step by step?  I have a Sansa Clip Zip, Windows XP and WMP11.

I really apprecate any help and apologize me if my question is stupid. I went with Sansa from the day 1 to avoid synchronization of Word and simply drag - move the hard drive to the player, but it's time to broaden my horizons.

    Mar

I tried to create several playlists that were basically my favorite albums in the past, back when we bought an album and he played in the order of songs over and over again. The life of God was so simple, not better just more simple.

I just realized that WMP is not the same thing as WINAMP. so I downloaded WINAMP, followed the instructions I got from another forum (anythingbutipod) and it works. Here is the thread in case someone else is as naïve as I am (and assuming it's ok for me to post here)

  • PSG - MSC, WMP, Winamp, drag-and - d├⌐poser that nothing works for me to create playlists!

    Hello

Was very happy to buy the 8 GB Sansa Fuze player and now I am totally frustrated with it.

I have 2000 songs and I put them on the drive by drag / move (player was still in the factory settings). I had well organized my songs into folders because the ID3 tags are not all good, and I don't want to sit and edit the tags of 2000.

Obviously the player does not function to browse the folders so I started looking in the creation of playlists and he hass nothing but frustration since then.

I read almost all of the discussions about this and tried modes of the MTP and MSC and everything. Nothing works.

Windows Media 11 and Winamp player always without success.

Here's what I want to do:

    1. create playlists for each folder, I added in the 'Music' folder on the rocket, using the files on the "rocket" and not my computer being the music that I have loaded on different media (external hard drive / CD / etc).

2 be able to navigate to these playlists and play according to what I want.

I'm not a geek, but I'm not a starter. So all sorts of solutions welcome.

Please help me. I really want to throw the player rather than scroll through the songs of 2000 or modify their ID3 tags.

Feeding you the Lil Monsta first.  It's OK, but the "rocket" can have problems, find the files if they are not correctly tag tags ID3v2.3 ISO-8559-1.

Music files display correctly when browsing the device?

The "rocket" recognizes a variety of bit rates, as long as the files are in mp3 or wma format.

What you need to do is to take the files you have created and edit the ID3 field data as you wish, to group the files if you want.  If the files are grouped together in folders, you can extract the files (or pull the source even if they are available on your PC) and work top with MP3Tag, available for free download.

I have not tried, but it may be possible to change the files on the device, and then save them to the "rocket" and delete the mtable.sys file in the root directory before you leave or disconnect the "rocket". What I hope will happen, is that the original ID3 tag database will be rebuilt using your tags edited.

I mention this workaround solution, since you have already loaded 2000 files on the device.

The sticky issue is the 'default', used when you load your music.  MTP mode out-of-the-box, by default the "rocket" at less than your operating system of the Sansa queued data to open a session of MSC mode communication, based on automatic detection.

The probability is higher that, since you mention WiMP11, PSG is the mode of choice.  The file mtable.sys in the root directory is not seen in MTP mode.

Have you tried to synchronize your rocket with WiMP11?  The synchronization process can work in the opposite direction, pulling songs from the device in the library of your Media Player.  Once there, you can use the "Advanced" tag editor to correct tags, but MP3Tag can work on whole batches of similar files for you, or it may even take your entire collection of, say, ID3v2 tags and rewrite as 2.3 with the correct character set.

Chicken can allow you to generate playlists on your PC and send the .pla playlist file to your Sansa. (No, the files are NOT duplicated in a teeny .pla file, here is only a list of files!)

Finally, when you're connected in MTP mode, navigate to the music folder.  You can generate playlists at will, especially when they are already on the device using Windows Explorer in MTP mode. Choose a desired file, right click to create Playlist.  Rename this playlist as you want and open it.  Now, drag and drop all your titles in this list box.  Note Please!  You're not actually dragging the files in the list, just the TITLES go from there - how cool is that!

Two towers with lots of files: If you have a list, hold down the [SHIFT] key will allow you to extract all the files between the two clicks as a group, or now the [CTRL] will allow you to consolidate each individual file clicked until the release of [ctrl key].  Then, drag one of the files selected to the playlist, and all selected files will follow.

I prefer to drag these new playlists in playlist file, which makes them easier to find later, compared to the research of the multitude of files in the music folder.

  • Lost 'Create Playlist' in the right click menu

I was pleasantly surprised, sometimes, back to find that I could click with the right button on a mp3 file on my mp3 player attached and get a "Create the Playlist" item in the right click menu and click on it to get a reading on the player list. Some how I lost this menu item and can not get it back. Someone knows how to do this? I am running Win 7-64.

Thanks for choosing Windows and thank you for providing an opportunity to help you.

According to the description, it looks that you are having problems with missing option to create Playlist.

    1. What is the brand and model of the MP3 player?

    2. were there any changes (hardware or software) to the computer before the show?

Perform the System Restore to an earlier date and check it.

  • Error creating playlist and cannot rip cd music...

I have problem with my Windows Media Player 12 on Windows 7 64-bit. First of all, I couldn't create a playlist, it maintains the production of an error message and second, I can't rip music, I found the problem but I could not fix it, I actually put my destination file for my thumbdrive and I plugged it on before changing the destination, now it is empty and when I try to change nothing happens, the destination directory is always empty help!

In WMP library, click organize , and then select manage libraries - music . What places are? If there is no available location, remove them and also make sure that a default save location is set. Do the same for the other libraries (videos, pictures, and Recorded TV).

If this does not help, open Windows Explorer, right-click the music library, select Properties and click on restore by default . Tim Baets

  • Cannot create playlists on Thunderbird

I have difficulties to create a playlist on Thunderbird. The steps that I follow is from Mozilla Support (how to create and use playlists on Thunderbird).

When I open the address book and select file/new, options address book Contact and mailing list are both grey. This means that I am not able to select the mailing list by following the instructions, and I do not see how to do this.

When I first open the address book, the Contact/New New list/properties/Delete topics are also grey. Another series of online instructions is recommended to use the new list as establishing a mailing list, but I can't move forward that way either. A snip from this point of view is attached (I couldn't cut the File/New/Mailing List view).
