  If you receive an error message that says a restart is 'pending' and a recommendation that restart your computer before uninstalling, ignore this and proceed with the uninstall.

  Well, this is a difficulty, none of them worked for me, but if anyone else has this problem, they can try everything I spose.

  Please, try the following steps one by one to see if that helps:

  (1) rename the OOBE folder:

  Mac OS: /users/folder/Library/Application Support / Adobe / OOBE (rename to OOBE_OLD)

  2) download Creative cleaner tool http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html and delete the Adobe (if just, you have After effects, do delete all other files)

  (3) then download cloud creative app via https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud

  Launch and start to download After effects.

  Were Joliciel you able to successfully reinstall the creative Cloud Desktop application?  If this isn't the case, then please use the steps listed in the "failed to install" error Creative Cloud Desktop application to reinstall the creative Cloud Desktop application.

  If you continue to experience difficulties with the resettlement of some Adobe Creative applications I would recommend revision CC Office lists the applications as "up to date" when it is not installed.
