impression on m1212nf air

I have my HP m1212npf MFP netrowked on a netrowk wireless, and eprint works very well.  My apple devices cannot find the printer on the network for AirPrint.  I watched throgh all the settings and updated the firmware.  Am I missing something?

Thank you.

The sympthoms you describe seems exactly that the absence of multicast support.

From my own experience, routers Belkin does not support multicast (maybe the changes, at least that what I have been confirmed by the Belkin support on a year ago)

I suggest call Belkin support and check if the router supports Hello, who can also appear under IP or multicast DNS, mDNS, IGMP snooping or good morning on different routers.

  • iPhone & Phonak Compilot Air II

Today I had an air compilot 2 audio stream to my hearing aids Phonak V90, it works really well, I'm really impressed, it's so clever how it works, to be a bit picky, but the sound of radio streaming live sounds a little hail, I'd love to me in order to set the bass - is anyway to change the audio output from my iPhone?

I had a quick glance at some of the apps but they seem to be centered around your music in iTunes, I mostly listen to Spotify and BBC radio. is there an app or setting, I have not seen?

Anyone thinking of getting a compilot? I highly recommend you try that instantly, I noticed that a sound in the background makes my tinnitus almost disappear and I still hear the traffic and people around me, before I had to wear a helmet and that was the only thing I heard was the music - now, I have the best of both worlds

  • The MacBook MacBook Pro vs the 2015 2012 Air

I'm currently looking in laptops refurbished Mac as a device to program in XCode on and use it as a laptop school.

My options seem to be the 2012 MacBook Pro vs. MacBook Air 2015. While my main focus will be programming, I need my computer to be able to handle other tasks. My complaint with the laptops has always been the General slowness are associated, when they become easily outdated. In the MacBook Air, much higher transfer speeds of flash memory should help, but the big difference of GHz between the two processors will be a problem?

In the 2012 MacBook Pro, it runs at 2.5 GHz with a Turbo Boost to 3.1 GHz.

In 2015 MacBook Air, it runs at a meager 1 .6GHz, but the Turbo Boost can reach up to 2.7 GHz.

Big Turbo Boost of the MacBook Air, it seems competitive, but it will never really reach this clock speed? I've never owned a Mac for myself, and while the Turbo Boost looks impressive on paper, I do not understand if Turbo Boost is effective when it is actually implemented or not.

Unfortunately, I'm used to my 4.0 GHz custom PC, so it is difficult for me to understand the magnitude of these small clock speeds and Turbo Boost.

All opinions welcome, thank you for your thoughts!

    Hi milehigh3r

In this article MBP = MacBook Pro and MBA = MacBook Air the MBP specific I compare the MBA with is Late 2012 15"

Two of these laptops have there for and against.  I'm assuming that you look the MBP 15 "and 13" MBA

In the MBP i7 would also go more high as you say that its Turbo clock is 3.1 GHz which means that it is the fastest frequency, he's going to go.

Pros of the MBP (MacBook Pro)

Retina display (Macbook air is not equipped with a Retina display)

Can use up to 16 GB of Ram

There are also more ports on the MBP

All CPUS MBP is i7 which means you would get the benefit of technology hyper threading which creates a 4 additional virtual cores.  What will make it a 8 Core CPU.

the MBA would not have this functionality if you upgrade the $130 extra for the i7 (Note: this i7 in the MBA is only a Dual Core)

    The MBA Pros / Cons

Latest generation ports (Thunderbolt 2 (Thunderbolt 1 is on the MBP))

You cannot install any OS prior to OS X 10.11 El Capitan

To conclude I totally recommend that you go for the MBP because you have found the two nuclei and i7 in standard, you can also get much better display.  Also all Apple products Refurbished come with new batteries (I would say that you go to a class A which means better conditions).  Try to get a SSD if possible as they will make it lot faster on the start menu to the top of the OS and applications.

Need anything better explaining it, or have any questions feel free to answer me.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 - Macbook Pro and Macbook Air does not print

    Products:

    • HP Officejet Pro 8600
    • MacBook Pro (Mac OS X, Version 10.7.5)
    • MacBook Air (OS X, Version 10.8.2)

    Question:

    • Why my Mac initially print fine, but now will not print?

    Full article:

I have a wireless network in my house that consisted of a 30 MB cable internet, Netgear 900n, HP Officejet Pro 8600, 2 laptops from Dell with Windows 7, a laptop Lenovo with Windows 7 and Dell with Windows 7 trick, all printed matter very well.

The HP Officejet 8600 was added to my network about 2 months ago.

I added a Macbook Pro and Macbook Air about 3 weeks ago.  The two Macs printed fine for about a week.  Then suddenly they stop.  I spent about 2 hours on the phone with HP's Service, and finally, they said to my router.  So I called Netgear.  NETGEAR was useless!  They wanted me to accept fees for services before they would even discuss the issue.

As a result of information provided by the HP support service, and because Netgear will not support their product, I quickly bought a new router - an Apple Airport Extreme.

Macs will recognize the printer will print if connected via a USB cable, but do not print wirelessly on the Officejet Pro 8600.  The fine impression CPA.

The frustration that is felt is made up by the fact that Macs printed very well with the Officejet Pro 8600 2 weeks and now the printer shows just "idle"... even with a new router. (see image below)

Please help, thank you very much for all support.

As a side note, the representative of the HP Service was very friendly and definitely tried to support the HP product, which is much more I can say about Netgear.

    Thank you

    Hello

More likely a problem with Multicast, which Apple devices are relies on to communicate with the device through the network.

First try unplugging the router for 30 seconds.

Connect to the power supply and wait 2-3 minutes.

Turn off the HP printer and turn it back on, then check all difference.

If it persists, try to change the configuration of your router as follows

Note: the settings below are not related with the HP product, I provide you with the steps as a best efforts and those based only on my own knowledge. You can try to change the settings of the router at your own risk:

    1. Open the router configuration page (you'll find listed as the default gateway by clicking the icon on the printer wireless, then print a network configuration report.
    2. Click the Advanced tab.
    3. Click the configuration option in the menu, and then click Setup WAN.
    4. Be sure to uncheck the box Disable IGMP proxy transmission and apply the changes.
    5. Click on the LAN configuration on the same Setup menu.
    6. Set the RIP RIP-2 Version and apply the changes.
    7. Restart your router and then check any change.

I hope that you will find useful information, you can also use the guide to the user below for more information:

  • You don't you E-Print to work? Feel the air works part-time?

Unable to get printer code? Printer keeps asking for the proxy server and proxy port. What are they and how to find them.

My impression of air works part-time. How to fix it. (I closed made printer etc. - it solves the problem for a time of shooting)

    Hi rprasuhn,

Thanks for the reply.  Try the following steps.

I would first disconnect the router and the printer for about 1 minute. I would plug the router first then the printer. I would then try to enable web services. If not successful, and you get the same error message. I'd follow these steps.

1 obtain the IP address of your printer

    a. This can be done by pressing the icon on the printer wireless.

    2. Enter the printer's IP address in a browser.

    3. Select the tab network at the top of the page.

    4. on the left, select network.

    5. Select Network (IP) address

    6. select manual DNS server

    a. manual Preferred DNS should read 8.8.8.8

    b. alternate DNS server should read. 8.8.4.4

    7. Select apply you could get a fair warning select OK.

Let me know how it goes.

  • LaserJet M1212nf: HP LaserJet M1212nf will not print, claims paper jam

My LaserJet M1212nf do not print, and it has never printed. Whenever I have create a print job if printing from a PC, copy something via the scanner, or print a report in the menu, it goes through the following:

    1. Initializes the printer,
    2. During initialization, printer pulls in a piece of paper in the tray,
    3. Paper stops halfway in (seems to me like he already spent fuser, then probably would not print correctly in all cases), then the printer claims there is a paper jam.

Note, this printer has never properly printed a single page. The number of impressions is zero (0). I've never had a paper jam.

Note that regards the position of the paper as it is pulled into the printer, I use letter size paper, and the printer menu shows that it has set up to accept size stationery. I confirmed duplicate by checking through the web interface of the printer as well.

    Any help?

And CV: If I can't get this problem solved, I'll have no value outside of this all-in-one at all. It will have been a large lemon and probably will poison any possibility to buy HP products in the future, including those based on the experience of support I've had so far, which has been zero. I tried to get the official support of the guarantee, but despite me documented proof of purchase, my warranty has been backdated to a until I bought itand now I can not contact technical support via the Web site options. I put in another conflict guaranteed, but on the basis of the likely response time will not get an answer until after a guaranteed year is officially over.

  • The Source Air open (fuse) user interface components

    Hello

I have seen that RIM is very friendly toward software open source. You guys make a nice contribution to major projects such as Qt and WebKit. You also have cool open source products like waving and WebWorksSDK. You still contribute to the porting of many C/C++ libraries open source and executives for the NDK.

This is impressive. But isn't something missing?

No AIR open source, frameworks libraries what so ever? At least, I couldn't find anything. Y at - it all? You guys make contributions to any Air project open source? If so, please share and market them.

My plead and I guess that's also him argue many other Air developers, must throw open sourcing your Air projects such as the fuse of UI components.

This idea is an absurd idea given what we saw? It would not correspond to that guys are trying to achieve with other frameworks?

Let's talk. I guess that we all want to hear.

    See you soon.

Hello world. We do not have any current plans to open source the components of our BlackBerry SDK for Adobe AIR. There are intellectual property issues with going in this direction. If we are able to change this in the future, I will let everyone know.

My air iPad2 impression can't find the printer HP7500A.  Two iPad2 and printer on my wireless Netgear N750.  Web site HP7500A has identified that the 7500 a does support air print.  Turned on the printer and the router (On and Off), but still the iPad can not find the 7500 printer.  Search the web site, but helps to solve my problem.

Thanks for all your suggestions.  Today, I took my iPad2 at the Apple store to check the latest version of the operating system software. Everything was up to date.  I checked the HP7500A touchscreen and selected the web option.  Wow, the printing software must be upgraded.  After the upgrade of the printer, the iPad2 did find the HP7500A under Air Print printer.  Everything works.

Why not use watermark custom logo and him custom identity plate for the title in the LR print module? You also have the option to add the title at the bottom of the image using 'Photo Info' selection "Custom Text". After installation, you can save this as a new model.
