• Looking at virtualization in order to improve the availability and growth of the company

  I work in an archives in the Caribbean and at the present time, we have 5 different servers (some convert office systems and some are old tower servers). We are looking to Virtualization as a good solution to improve our availability and make sure that we have the resources when the business grows. To our current size we might add a new server every 6 months or a year according to our which of our services, we decide to push.

  Now, we set a tender for virtualization package, but we're going for the cheapest option we have to charge us at least 1.7 times the actual cost of materials (outdated processors incidentally), software and which include installation services and do they offer support of sale/implementation and all support us would need they have made it clear that if we have any questions we will deal with VMware directly. Now with this in mind my manager asked me to see if we can purhcase the software and our own configuration matΘrielle and the infrasturture.

  I already use a vmare for desktop software and I have a fair idea of how this works. I know that vsphere approach can be very different, but as it says no guts no glory... no no pain no gain.

  At the present time, the budget I have is $25, 000USD for the hardware (2 servers + managed 24port switch san +) and vmware software.

  I've been watching vmare 3.5 and vmware sphere not too sure which one will be a better option to go with. (which would be better in the long term) We definitely want the package with vmotion :).

  I configured a WLC to integrate with LDAP, it works fine when I use only one Active Directory server, but I have other users in the other Active Directory server. When I turn on both servers and some users try to log in with the second server WLC triggered for a little while it is impossible to set up the equipment nor the telnet that during that time, and users may not be authenticated more, I have to disable the server and then activate just one of them in the order users can connect again. I also saw this behavior when more than 4 users try to connect to the same access point at a time.

  Yes, it leads me to believe that your RADIUS is not configured correctly. I should make it clearer, but in order to make 802.1 x, you must have an IAS or ACS that extends from your ad (or LDAP, I suppose, but I am not sure that it is supported). You can't just point your controller to your ad, it does not work.

On the NVIDIA site, when I asked her to automatically detect the driver update, it says none is available for my computer (my Mac).

  Your don't need another graphics card.  By necessity, VMware can pass through native graphics of your iMac to any guest including Windows operating system.  VMware provides its own graphic adapter of substitute (WDDM 3D) or VMware SVA II, with its own pilots.  Apple takes care to provide you with the latest drivers for OS X, you will never have to download all the drivers directly from the graphics vendors.  Details about the virtual hardware and its differences of capacity are covered in the FAQs on VMware Fusion

  Regarding the VMware graphics drivers who are in the VMware tools and are supported if you have installed Windows 7 using Windows Easy install feature in the new computer Wizard.  If you do not use Windows Easy Install (or don't remember), the icon of blue squares of VMware in the system tray is a Visual indicator, they are installed.  But you can confirm the video adapter by using the Control Panel, search for display > change display settings > advanced settings to look at your graphics card.  For Win7, the default value is VMware SVGA 3D.

  Whenever you want to refresh the VMware drivers you can select Virtual Machine > install VMware Tools to install or run the option repair after the Welcome screen.

  I noticed that since a few weeks I'm not able to buy a movie more if:

  -Set store account never ask for password

  -Activate restrictions (set a password) and all buy "limited."

  It works with the same configuration perfectly on my Apple TV 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation, where clicking on the buy button you are prompted to enter the password instead of having to enter your iTunes account password every time.

  But on the Apple TV 4th gen, once I click the button to buy, I get the circle of rotation and it keeps just there, never ask the password so that the operation never happens.

  If I disable the restrictions for the purchase of movies, I can buy the movie (do not ask for an access code and password)

  If I put the password on all your purchases, I am also able to buy the film.

  But still, if I set the password to "ask always", then enable password, set 'focused' purchases (so I'm in the best situation: should I get the password dialog box when I'm about to buy anything, rather than the full itunes password) it simply doesn't.

  AFAIK you can't do much. This laptop has standard stereo speakers and not high quality Harman/kardon as some other models, so if you want to have good and brilliant sound, you need external speakers.
