Improved WRT54G2 to E2500. E2500 can't find my ethernet network printer

I just upgraded from my old WRT54G2 to the E2500 yesterday.  Everything works (internet, wireless, etc.).  However, the new router is unable to see my Canon Copier/printer, which I connected via an ethernet cable.

He connected very well with the old router in the same configuration.  Would appreciate some ideas on what could be the issue.  I have a feeling that it is something simple that I think not.

Thank you.

Ok. He was happy. Have fun.

Because the e-mail-support page does not work at the moment (after sending a message I get only a blank page), I'll ask my question here.

Since the month of maybe 2 or 3 my connection to the WLAN networks is really bad. I have not changed anything, nor the version of Windows (Windows 7) or drivers, but it does not work as good as it was.

    A few examples:
I'm sitting at 5 meters from the wlan router. Only a wall is separate. The laptop can't find any wlan network. With my HP laptop, the connection is good. I'm sitting on the desk where the router. The laptop detects the network but says Windows connection seems to be only fair or poor. My HP laptop has the best score of the connection.

Anyone here who can help or can tell how to contact support by e-mail without getting this white page only?

Where can I find the pairing on printer HP PSC 1610xi UBS code?

This is sometimes called the PIN code

    Thank you

    LARR

Thanks for getting back to me on my question

I tried to connect my printer HP PSC 1610xi router USB Wireless Linksys 3200 newly purchased.

This router has a USB port which said, could be put in place so that you can print on your printer with any computer on the network.

At some point in the setup, I asked for the pairing code printers. That's where I stopped and tried to find the pairing code.

I kept trying to make it work for me without the pairing code and found that I had missed a step in the installation and which was to install the Linksys software on the second computer. When I did the second computer can then print through the network. So I need is no longer the pairing code.

Thanks for your effort. I appreciate it,

  • HP Pavilion g6-1310ea: can not find the ethernet controller driver

I reinstalled Windows on my HP Pavilion g6 - 1310ea and can not find the drivers for the Ethernet, PCI Device and SM Bus controller controller. There seems to be no more this kind of drivers on hp suupp.

    Hello:

I can't even to the driver page.

Here are the drivers you must however...

Ethernet controller: download and install the 2nd driver on the list.

    http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?langid=1 & PNid = 14 & PFid = 7 & Level = 5 & Conn = 4 & DownTypeID = 3 & getdown = false

PCI device: Download, unzip and run the exe file to install from the first item on the list at the link below...

    http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?langid=1 & PNid = 15 & PFid = 25 & Level = 4 & Conn = 3 & DownTypeID = 3 & getdown = false

SMBus Controller: This is not on the driver page even if it worked...

I zipped and attached to the driver that you are interested in below.

Download and uncompress the file in its folder.  Don't do anything with the files in the folder.

Go to Device Manager and click the controller smbus who need the pilot.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver folder, that you unzipped.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.

    Then restart the PC.

  • Satellite A135 can't find any WLan network

My Satellite A135 Vista went through a severe virus problems and cleaning tools with some cleaning.

The latter, I found that it could not find any wireless network (there are many)
The system could not fix the problem even if the driver has been reinstalled.

I moved switch position Wi - Fi (wireless LED is lit) and activated the wireless network adapter using the FN + F8 key combination.

    What can I do else?

    Hello!

Is the properply recognized WLAN card in Device Manager?
Maybe you should try to reinstall the driver. Therefore, you should look on the Toshiba website for your laptop model:
    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com

In addition, you should check if you have disabled the function of Vista the WLAN to save energy card. This document could be useful for you:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD84026Q0000R01.htm

Last but not least check the properties of the wireless network card. You must use the same standard WiFi (for example 802.11 g) as on the router.

    Hello

Please help me with a problem of annoing with radio.

The story is like this:-J' I bought a laptop with Vista preinstaled... I used only once the wireless and worked very well... after a while I have reinstaled Vista, vista ultimate editing... I used 2 days the wireless and then suddenly found no more... wireless network I have reinstaled vista 2 weeks ago, and now I bought a wireless router and set a network... same problem : "Windows cannot find any wireless network"... with a laptop dell, I found 2 networks (one I created and the other a neighbor with very good signal).

    Collaborative I've tried:

1 http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB9602NC0000R01.htm - in the directory toshiba\wlan there are 3 directories: intel, atheros and realtek... following the steps, the only factor that installs is intel one... If I try to navigate to the folder Realtek can't find anything compatible... (the network lan card is realtek, so I guess that the Wlan should be the same... as also indicated in the url)

"I have the latest drivers from the toshiba Web site
"the wireless is a turn on"

    2. I thought that might be a vista problems, so I instaled all the vista updates available... still no work

The next sollution I try is updating the bios, but I have no whink it is useful.

So please help me with a sollution for my WiFi problem!

    Thank you

    Hi creativu22,

First, you must identify the type of wireless network card before you begin to install all the drivers available. Therefore, you can also search with vendor and device ID.
    Check this box!

If you have installed the driver successfully and your wireless network adapter is listed in the Device Manager, you must check the TCP/IP settings. Maybe you need to use static IP addresses, but it depends on your router.

Try turning off also in Power Options Windows WLAN energy saving features!

  • Can't find my wireless network

I recently bought 2 identical laptops, eMachines E525 Acer. Two of them are under Vista Home Premium.  When I put in place the first laptop computer, he finds and allowed me to connect to my router wirelessly with no problems whatsoever. When I pulled up and set up the other, when I tried to connect to the router, I get the message 'no wireless networks detected. I tried to set up the connection manually, but he still refuses to connect. Since I bought the machine that day, I got to the store, thinking it was a problem with the wifi of the laptop. They tested, and he finds about 6 networks nearby. They agreed to exchange for a new machine, and when I got the same problem occurred. For the life of me, I can't understand what is happening. The router broadcasts its SSID, certainly since the first laptop computer, as well as my PS3 and my Wii see the broadcast. Any suggestions on how to force the laptop to see the SSID?

Are you sure that your second computer is close enough to pick up the signal (or not to being blocked by something in the building)?  Have you tried to move next to the router and see if you can connect from there?

If the original machine could microphones wireless without any configuration and she and the new machine cannot connect to your router (but other units can and they can also get a connection), I suggest that you check the router settings to make sure that it is configured to accept multiple connections a lot and that there is no security feature that needs to be reset to allow the new machine to connect (perhaps a password or something).  I would also turn off the Windows Firewall and any security software you use to make sure that they are not interfering.  Also, I could set up a new connection on the computer that cannot connect (rather than old configuration) and see if that solves the problem.  Are you sure you used the correct workgroup name during installation?

You must set up a wireless internet connection in the network as well as the connection sharing normal LAN wireless and connect to it as well as the local connection.  If you don't do this, you will not have an internet connection.  You need both.  You must also enable some features in the main area sharing network to access the internet - they are quite well defined.

  • Vista Home Premium can not find applications and networks.

Vista Home Premium (manuf. installed) can not find applications (application to go to define associations in control panels?), does not recognize my wireless network and available restore points are only for dates after the problem has occurred.  If I buy a Home Premium DVD and do a clean install should I expect to get a working computer?

    Hello

You mean reinstall the OS completely? If you have Vista DVD you can do however make sure to
totally your data off the drive of backup, and you need to reinstall your programs. If you do not
Disks of Vista, you can buy them in your machine to cheap system. If you don't care about existing programs
Then you can make a complete new installation - just select the format options that erases the entire disc (this
    Clears all data as well).

Some system manufacturers use Partitions recovery and other methods to allow you to go back to a
completely new facility. So check with your system manufacturer to see what options you must do
    - and it's certainly doable - just a question of the process the manufacturer of the system set in place to
    you.

  • can not find the wireless network

    Hello

I hope someone can help. Today, I got a new installed wireless router. Until now my main and most recent computer can connect to the internet fine (so I know this isn't a network problem), but my old computer does not find the network when scherching of available networks, it may pick up other networks and communicate with them simply not my own. It is the first time that I am trying to connect to this wireless computer.

The computer is a HP pavilion t770.uk Windows xp sp3.

You need to replace the network adapter. The current NIC is older than the specification of N, so it can not communicate with this Protocol.

You can try to configure your router and the new pc to use b, if they allow.

  • Computer can't find HP Photosmart D110a Printer even though it says its connected to the network

I've had my printer for almost 2 years now, and I have never had any problems until about a week ago. I have connected my printer and computer to a new wireless home network, and everything worked fine for about two weeks. Then one day, the printer was 'offline' and I couldn't get it online. So I uninstalled all the software of printer and re-installed, and now my laptop cannot find my printer at ALL. I tried all available on HP diagnostic tools and none of them can pick up the printer on my network even if, on the printer, and the report of the network Test on the printer says that everything is connected successfully. I checked the IP address of the printer, and it looks like a "Dummy" IP address: 10.59.1.250. If I type in my browser, nothing comes. I work at home, and I need my printer back on as soon as possible. Help! My computer laptop OS is Windows 7 64 bit.

Th ecomputer is connected directly to the router (with an ethernet cable)?

I'm looking on the AT & T site and he says:

    • Create a safe and secure wireless home networks
    • Provide wireless connections for devices such as Smartphones and
      Netbooks

This leads me to believe that the router is the creation of the different networks.  The printer is on and the computer is on another.  There is probably a way to get then talk to each other or to force all on a single network.  You can check with AT & T? (Not trying to pass the buck, but they could have a quick response.)

  • HP 15-r099sm (Ralink RT3290 Wireless Adapter) can't find my WiFi network

I bought my HP 15 a few days ago and since yesterday (after that I restarted) it does not find my network. Also, sometimes he finds all the surrounding networks, sometimes one or two, sometimes none, but it never shows mine.

All my other devices connect to the network just fine and also when I connect to the laptop via a cable internet Ethernet works normally. I tried to reinstall the card and the driver, but nothing happens, the problem is still there. What should I do?

    Hey xdujex,

    Indeed, it is quite confusing.

The only other things I could suggest would be to restore the laptop to until the problem started. I know your laptop is fairly new but it might help to avoid being without the unit while for repair isn't worth it.

If this does not work, you can try a system restore to wipe everything and see if the problem comes back. Save your information and give it a try.

If it does not solve the problem that the next step would be to ask the HP support by phone for service options. You can contact HP Technical Support at 1-800-474-6836 in North America. For all other regions click here.

  • I installed Windows XP Home Edition. Can not find the wireless network drive

I installed Windows XP Home Edition on my spare PC.  Now I have wireless network card in the computer and problems to find the drivers for it, and I don't know what brand it is, so I know it's kind of makes it harder too.  Then I also have to start the computer, but if I press F1, the computer starts well

I was just wondering how can I get rid of this?

Disable all devices that can connect to your router (wired or wireless)...

    • PCs
    • Laptops
    • Tablets
    • Smartphones
    • Smart TV
    • Printers
    • Networked storage
    • Another thing that I have not mentioned above!

Put on your router and wait for the normal light distribution. Then turn on all devices.

I hope that your ip address conflict went away. Generally ip conflicts can happen when the router is running again without doing the same with all devices later.

If you have even an ip address conflict, it is possible that you forgot something above or can someone use your router without your knowledge.

Your router's wireless network is secure? Ideally with WPA2 encryption?

My printer HP Officejet 6100 has recently lost its eprint connection and would not reconnect.  I asked for help and told

I tried to power on the printer, the modem and the router so that it would reset but the printer would not still find or connect to the wireless network.  The little blue light on the printer for wireless connection just continues to blink.
