  In Acrobat 9 the tool is called the "Text editor" tool It is included in the "Advanced editing" toolbar, so just with the right button of the toolbar area and select it from the list of available tools. Or you can select: Tools > advanced editing > text editing tool

  I'm spending PageMaker in InDesign CS4. I have a problem of numbering of the pages in my document of 50 pages. I have facing pages and was able to draw a text box on the left side of my Master Page (A) to insert numbers. I now have numbers, that is, 2, 4, 6, etc., printing on the left side of my document pages. (Not sure why paging was applied only to the left.) I was not able to draw a text box on the right side of the Master Page (A) while I can number the odd document pages, if this is the way to go. The right text box does not consume. I googled the problem and tried several different methods, but can not get to the right page numbers. Any help would be appreciated. Uh oh, I fear the saying "you can't teach an old dog monkey" may be applicable.

  Zoom out until you see Master left and right Page (easier is to hit Alt + Ctrl + 0: 'Fit spread in window' in the view menu).

  Copy the box with the page number, you already have and paste it immediately - it should appear somewhere in the neighborhood of the center of your screen.

  Select it with the black arrow (not the white or the text tool) and slide it into place on the right page.

  I used to use VMware Workstation 10 and recently upgraded to VMware workstation 11.  However, whenever I try to install a newer version of VMware tools, it will fail with message saying something like "VMware Tools can be installed in the Virtual Machine.

  Yes, I am trying to install VMware Tools within the guest operating system, but I get this notification for all my virtual machines, I'm running.

  I'm under 6 Virtual Machines simultaneously and they run on Windows 7 32 bit OS and configured with 4 GB of RAM, 1CPU, 100GB HD + 5 GB second HD for the swap file, NO printer, no sound card.

  For each virtual machine, I changed about 50 + key of Windows registry and detect the values to hide from all the programs that they are running on the virtual machine.

  I assume due to records, I changed, it confuses VM installer who it is not running on a Virtual Machine.  Then I tried to change all these registers changed to send it back to the original value, yet I is always the same message.

  I must be missing either some registry values or values that I restored is false. But I don't know which is the case.

  I can simply delete all my Virtual Machines and start again with the new virtual machine, but I don't want to repeat this process whenever a newer version of the VM tools out. and installation of windows and search and replace registry values for each virtual computer is full of works.

  So, here is my question.  Anyone know how to force the update / install VM tools in my virtual machine?

  P.S. I added under scripts in the file .vmx for each of the virtual machines.  I don't think it would cause the problem but just in case I include it.

  Nope - the splash screen uses the lowest possible resolution so that it will show regardless of monitor, card used graphic, video system or TV.  This is basically the "infallible" mode

  I struggled with space on my macbook pro. I'm a design student have so many documents and large files. I backed up my mac completely on a hard drive.

  I will not restore my macbook again but as I went and signed in the creative cloud and icloud once wipe my macbook and restore. That a large number of files is missing from the creative cloud - practically anything I had there since March 2015.

  Now I saw the panic because these files were extremely important. (I know I should of saved their separately as well, but I am a fool and does not)

  I had been able to gain access to these on my laptop all the time but now I come to think that they had not even sync to my creative cloud online.

  I know that its probably a long shot and impossible but there at - there no miracle to be able to get these files back at all?

  Writing this for anyone who commits the same error!

  Location depending on the version of the OS and Photoshop script must be in the Photoshop presets for example, Scripts Windows 7

  Do a search on your drive to "Export layers to Files.jsx" where the file has been moved.  Other wise get it back from your backup system or reinstall Photoshop on top of itself to recover the missing files.  You won't lose you Photoshop preferences and responsible actions etc. your setting is not overwritten.

  I'm just making the transition from PC to Mac that we have to use a PC at work.

  I can't get my head around Fireworks CS5 on Mac.

  I'm a web designer. When I'm working on a Web site, I usually open a lot of images in Fireworks and go back and forth between Fireworks and Dreamweaver.

  On my old PC, I used CS4. I use on my new Mac CS5. On the PC, Fireworks had a background Uni color, blocking all other applications running out of sight / behind the fireworks. On Mac, Fireworks has a transparent background, with Dreamweaver showing through between the images, I'm trying, which is a mess and visually very distracting and gives me a headache.

  Is there anyway to allow a solid context in Fireworks to blockout anything running behind?

My question is when a player fills the PDF file with 'fields to highlight' turned on, once they select Yes or no on one of the questions that the red border 'entry required' stay on unselected option.

  However even if the 'Yes' option box is checked the opposite of 'no' radio button in the same group remains highlighted in red because it is a required entry.   The only real control for required fields highlight color is enable or disable. See example here: http://bit.ly/e3bTJF.

  Different versions of Acrobat/Reader deal with mandatory radio buttons. Acrobat v9 describes the group with a rectangle.

  

  If the objects are radio buttons, I would stick with circle shape by default users will be familiar with the form and feel that they can select one of the choices. The use of a square shape means that they may make more than one selection.

  I'm editing a movie and trying to move the arrow of the mouse scroll bar. But there seems to be an invisible barrier that will not allow me to move the mouse over the scroll bar. It's all around the screen as well. I can't the mouse cursor within 0.5 cm of the edge of the screen.
  
  I assume that this is because the mouse is located in an area of 32 x 32 and once the area hit the edge of the screen it does not further. A way to reduce the size of the area or the mouse?

  I had the same problem.

  Indeed, you have the mouse to hang slightly off the page.

  What you do is change the type of mouse that has the active "point" of the mouse on the right side instead of the left side of his little box. (He is one who is a pinch of hand to the right).

  Move the pointer is active where you want. Right click on the mouse, properties, replace it with a normal pointer... and voila...

  Don't forget if you tap this mouse again to move it, happen again all the way inside the screen, and you will have to redo this procedure little.
