In regards to Microsoft Career Site HR is really read the RESUME for the applied position?

I send my CV to a lot of position that I am very interested and I have lot of all recruiters. Can you tell me how long does take to be contacted?

It is the peer-to-peer support forum for Microsoft Vista.  Windows users help other users of Windows who have problems.  I think I can say that no one here has seen your RESUME.  :-)  Contact the Department of human resources of Microsoft with this type of question.

  • After format and install Win XP Home and SP3 why can't open the Microsoft web sites?

    Need help, guys

I had to replace my HARD drive in my computer. I installed my Windows XP Home SP2 disc. After installation, I used my SP3 upgrade drive and my drive to upgrade to IE8. After you install all my drivers, I tried to get Windows dates and discovered that I could not access the Microsoft web sites. I get Internet Explorer cannot display this page. I tried to find out why this is happening and how to correct the situation, but have not found an answer that works yet. Can someone give me an answer to this question.

I have another (used) computer that I formatted the HDD installed and on Windows 7 and have had no problems to access the Microsoft web sites on. It uses the same modem cable like the other computer so I guess that everything is ok with my Internet connection. This problem seems to be only with Windows XP Home SP 3.

Think in advance for any help

  • Virgins of the Microsoft Web sites

    Hello

Had a problem with www. Microsoft.com/en-gb/ and other Microsoft Web sites.  The pages would empty.  If I saw the source of the page, it showed what appeared to be good code but it wouldn't display.  Tried it on 3 computers and different browsers and finally discovered our firewall was blocking these 2 sites; optimizely.com & webtrends.com.  Additional troubleshooting led me to below errors in firefox debugging:

I can't join or create a group of houses in windows 7 it says my pc and laptop cannot create a how I should I followerd all articles I can find on the microsoft kills site

    Hey borq Queen,.

Welcome back you hear. If, after completing all the steps below, you are still unable to create or join a homegroup, I think that the issue is to do with IP/V6.

Check your setting of the adapter for IP/V6. Your network connection must have IPv6 enabled to create or join a homegroup. If it is disabled, follow the steps below to activate it.

    (1) right click on the network icon and select open network and sharing Center.

    (2) in the window that appears, select change the parameters of the map.

    (3) in the network connections window, select the connection to the Local network for the Integrated NIC, and then change the settings for this connection or the file > properties.

    (4) in the connection properties page, check the box for Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).

Close all windows and restart your system.

    Try to create a homegroup.

You should be able to create or join one after the activation of the IP/V6.

As I've already bought the computer with the operating system installed on it and apparently I have not received any CD of the OS with it. But I have the ID of the product on the computer... is there a way where I could get a copy .iso of my operating system on the Microsoft Web site?

Since "redevelopment" of Windows 10, Firefox cannot correctly display web pages of MSDN, Technet, or most other Microsoft Web sites. All I get is text based websites, no visuals at all.
There was once a way to have Firefox Web sites meet and pass off as internet explorer or Chrome... has this capacity disappeared or is it the fault of the web programmers at Microsoft screwing around with their code?

  • Cannot access the microsoft Web site using any browser

    Access Web sites

Try all 3 browsers... Chrome IE7 and Mozilla. I can't to any microsoft Web site. No problem to do anything else.

    sites.

    Thanks for any info

I can't to any microsoft Web site.

Sounds like a DNS issue.   Use nslookup to check.   Use ping n 1 w 1 to attempt to cache a browser search.  Use ipconfig/displaydns to check if the search is cached.   A problem with many Microsoft research is that they have several alias and have very short life values.   It is very difficult to take any advantage of cached searches.  An alternative is to substitute the search using your HOSTS file, but then the IP addresses of host Microsoft tend to be transitory.  In fact, this point suggests something to check first: make sure that there are no replacement of microsoft in your HOSTS file.   Remove them and do an ipconfig/flushdns, if there is.   ; )

  • Cannot access the Microsoft Update Site

I get the following error message when you try to access the update site:

Microsoft Update could not be installed on your computer

Make sure that you log on as an administrator or as a member of the Administrators group, and then try again.

    More troubleshooting options

    • If your computer is connected to a network and the problem persists, contact your system administrator to see if your Microsoft Update settings are managed by using Group Policy.
    • If your computer is not connected to a network, or if your system administrator has not disabled Microsoft Update, check if the Windows Update service is disabled or stopped. For information about how to start a service, search help and Support on your computer.

Note: If you encounter problems with the installation of Microsoft Update, you can continue to get updates for your computer by going to Windows Update in control Panel.

    [Error number: 0x800A01AE]

I AM logged on as administrator (it's actually the only account on the system other than the guest account: I have renamed the main administrator account and use it as my account {I know this isn't the best practice, but I always did like it and it makes things easier being the administrator, especially since I changed the name for security reasons}).  I have a small home network wireless, but have no defined group policy (no server - just-to-peer).  The Windows Update Service is launched and running (but I stopped and restarted it just to be safe).

I don't quite know what to do next.  I would like to be able to access this site for updates that cancelled or failed during the update process automatic (and who seem not to be re - that appear as options when I check the updates).

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated...

BTW, I use a Dell Inspiron E1705 with 32-bit Windows Vista Business SP2.

    Hello

You try to go actually on here Windows Updates site?

    http://www.update.Microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us

This site does not work for Vista. You must use the Windows built-in to Vista updates or download them
sites I posted for you last time.

Absolutely do not use the default Administrator account. Just make a new Admin account to
use and leave the other to test and difficulty. In fact, make an Admin NOW account to use to test and fix
According to the needs. If your sole administrator corrupts you will have a big headache.

  • Suddenly have messy with the Microsoft Updates site?

I ALWAYS successfully used the update site that both Express automatically and personalized for items of hardware or software. Maybe I made a few changes to my Win XP Tablet settings or my settings of IE 8?

So, if I do a custom rather than formal, the site detects some updates to install. It is the first time 6. I checked 5 & countered the Bing Office thing since I use Google Search.

Downloaded all 5, he took to always install 1. After a long period of time (15 minutes?), I canceled with the Task Manager. The results were so only got 1 installed and does not have 4.

So, I started on after support in Internet Explorer.

Now, Custom found 4. Yet once, I checked all, but Bing. This time, he quickly crossed download since those were probably already in a certain place of temporary files on my tablet. Then, once more, it took to install always the 1st and I finally had to force my way with the Task Manager.

    Now, the site says:

    * Summary of the installation

    Success: 0

    Failed: 4

    Remaining: 0

The following updates were not installed:

Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on XP, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2008 x 86 (KB2600217)

Root certificates update for Windows XP [may 2013] (KB931125)

    Office of Bing v1.3

Update definition for Microsoft Security Essentials - KB2310138 (definition of 1.153.994.0)

    Thus,.

#1 how to install these updates?

#2 what is going wrong here which caused all this too happen?

I ALWAYS successfully used the update site that both Express automatically and personalized for the pieces of software or material [without encountering any problems]...

Your history of validation [and you the know I am familiar with your history to post here] suggests that this is not always the case, Jeff; for example, http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp-windows_update/cannot-update-new-windows-xp-rtm/23923237-5708-451f-8c38-4fdd206bc359 (October 29, 2012)

    That being said...

Desktop KB2600217 & Bing v1.3 are both updates optionalnot security (Yes, even if they are offered as Important updates). Be sure to hide them & move on with your life.

As long as your current definitions of MSE (by the MSE Update tab) has no more than 72 hours old, don't hesitate to hide optional MSE definitions updates (KB2310138) also offered. [1]

Now, another CUSTOM scanner, uncheck the box & hide ("do not show me these updates ') optional updates, I quoted above then see if you can install the updated root certificates (KB931125) as a standalone update; Follow all the instructions.

Tip: with the exception of the updates for Office, do not install any other optional updates or any optional hardware updates .
